I was watching today at a video about it and i wanted to make a poll of what are you guys think.

unsure, it is all theorectical. Technically if you could time travel could you even create a ship strong enough for you to survive the trip?

uhm I think is not possible, but hypothetically if we take our minds a bit further almost fictional, if we ever get the real concept of "Space" we might be able to create gaps from one place of the universe to another. uhmmm like if I get a piece of paper then I fold it in half and I draw a circle and push a pencil through and open the piece of paper... that way we wouldn't have to travel long distances before reaching a point (In space of course) taking each side of the paper as different places of the universe joining them together with the purpose of speed light traveling. ( I see this a bit more possible than Time traveling)

^you're talkign about wormholes. Those seem possible if you could figure a way to squeeze matter into a dense tube and then it would fly through at incredible speeds. But that requires technology and machines no where close to being created. For now space travel is a waste of money.

This probably sounds stupid, but I don't think it will ever be possible because we would have already seen people coming back from the future if it was. Also, if it ever would be possible, it would be way too dangerous to use it anyway because you would completely change history just by doing little things like bumping into people.

but if you think about that. If they went back in time would have already happened and whateer they did would have alreeady have happened so basically whatever you do is already done. Its a conundrum to think about which is why it is not possible, make no sense.

It also depends on you version of time travel. According to physics, that is traveling faster than the speed of light.

It could happen, but the planet will die before we discover it. If we do discover it, it may save the planet.

if you ever time traveled, then the course of history wouldn't change (unless it is cheap) because the events in the past could already happen with events in the future of peoiple going back in time.

But if it worked like that, we would have already seen people coming from the future right now or any time in history.

i agree with Kory, if time travel was possible we would get people from the future,only thing i see flaws in is if anyone tells someone.

If the world didn't end, we could posssible reach people from the future but if the world ended we might have to go back to past and do something there lol this is turning a bit funny ^_^

Thinking about cool stuff you could do with time travel is fun. But the fact is that it is and never will be possible.

But if it was people could go back in time and figure out what the Egyptians were all about, and see if Christ really existed. Lots of cool stuff like that.

Not possible, even if it was (which it will never be) we would need some type of rules or time keepers as to not muddle up the timeline and even if then only a select few could probably be able to travel ie the wealthy and various governments.

Not possible. Maybe if we find out answer like (How was the world created or Why do we exists.)

if we could travel though time we could stop the 9/11 tragety, we could stop someone from going somewhere which would be fatal, and all this great stuff.

There are several thoughts on changing the past:

1. Destiny: Example you go back and get rid of Hitler in 1920. Destiny says that someone else will rise up in his place and not much would change

2. Change: Example you kill Hitler and WWII never happens, or even worse Germany and Russian remain allies and take over Europe.

Either way, that now becomes history and your previous history is now null and void. I mean techinically if you went back say to the time of Christ, your body is carrying all sort of diseases you immune to and they were not back then. You might just wipe out the entire human race.

Good point. Even if we do find a way, we will probaly be too scared to use it.

If there is time travel, There will be consequences as Malach said. It might not be as severe but it would have some effect on the future or present. Either that or you get disfigured in the process and you got your arm on your forehead, or some cray things like that.

To see if Christ existed? OMG that was the funniest thing I ever heard, Christ touched ground, and the entire Jews Civilization saw him and his miracles, you probably meant "If God existed", still will be hard to find out because who knows how back we would be able to go...

I've done it. Just to warn you though *once time travel is introduced into your time line *once you've jumped, the equipment you were using malfunctions...Which means Im stuck here until 2031.

but it could be like a book i read where gravity plates were set out and a kind of space suit was required so you cant expose futrue bacteria and that no contact between you and another organism is possible
