Super Ultra Omega Happy Happy Smiley Showdown

This contest was originally slated to take place after the conclusion of Sig Mastery...but considering that the IF servers took the big plunge..it's anyone's guess as to when that will actually happen. We, instead, decided to launch this contest now as an end of the year blowout.

As we rebuild and expand the forums in the wake of both the demise of Orbit and the destruction of the IF main server it falls upon us to think up newer and more unique contests since we no longer really have anything to offer as huge prizes(a billion Orbit Points is now useless). It is with this basic concept in mind that SUOHHSS was designed.

Objectives:
This one is pretty simple and straightforward. Participants in this contest will create their own smiley and submit it to this contest. We will then select between 0* and 5 winners whose submissions will be added to the "Clickable Smilies" list for this forum. In addition, the text code to use these unique emoticons will be some form of the winner's name.

*The reason the 0 is in there is in case the turnout for this one is very very low. We would much rather have someone win this contest than someone send in something horrible and luck out because they were the only person to enter. However, should only one person enter and their submission is good...this will not prevent them from winning.

And now...some rules.

Rules:
-This is an Official Cartoon Orbit: The Complete Guide Contest.
-Participants for this contest must have been members of Cartoon Orbit: The Complete Guide as of November 1st, 2006.
-Participants will be given ONE chance to make their submission for this contest so make extra certain that you have everything just the way you want it before you send it in to be judged.
-As usual, submissions may not violate the Forum Rules and Regulations in any way, shape, or form. If your submission is found to be a rules violation then it will be disqualified and you will not be permitted to make another submission. If you're uncertain about something...PM Enigma(that's me) and ask. Better safe than sorry.
-Submissions must be Judgement's Inbox by the end of the year(Midnight EST, December 31st). If you send your submission to someone else then they will not forward it for you. The Higher Powers also reserve the right to reply making fun of you for not being able to read(and we've done it before). :hysterical:
-Submissions may be animated...but it's not a requirement.
-Submissions with transparent backgrounds will get bonus points(because, yes, I am that lazy). :angelic:
-The dimensions for this contest are dependant on what you're doing. The minimium is 20x20(pixels) and is more for a single smiley or simple smiley. The maximium is 50x50 and is more for either a multiple smiley presentation of something that needs to get that big...kinda like... :shocked2:
You may also play around between these values, but make sure your finished product isn't too small or too large.
-The MC of this contest(Again..that's me) reserves the right to make additions, changes, and/or whatever other changes that he feels necessary to this contest without warning.
-As usual, there will be a Discussion Thread for this contest should you need anything cleared up. Alternatively, you may PM Enigma(still me).
