Ah, those were the good ol' days. Go, go Gadgetmobile and what not. Why would they cancel it, why?

i love this movie!

Yeah, it was an excellent show. Why they messed it all up with that silly movie, I'll never understand.

Sorry young'un the good old days was Scooby Doo, Super Friends, Tarzan Lord of the Jungle, and Space Ghost.

I'm gonna have to partially disagree. The good old days was Superfriends, Space Ghost (The one with Space Ghost, Teen Titans, and The Herculoids), Robotech, and Transformers.

I know this will catch allot of flame, but I have ALWAYS hated Scooby Doo, The Jetsons, and The Flintstones.

used to semi-like scooby, but never liked flintstones or jetsons at all

No Flame here, Scooby especially was porly animated and cheesy, but for it's time it was so different than your standard cartoon. It was a differnt time. Scooby fist started in 1968 (I wasn't even born back then)

The Simpsons and Family Guy owe a huge debt to the Jetsons and the Flintstones.

I always loved the cartoon, the movie sucked ;)

I did like Robotech, though. That was hilarious - the english version that is.

I was not permitted to watch Scooby Doo when I was young, and now that I've seen it, I'm sort of thankful ^_^

^ :lol: well you are not the only one, that scooby show was not and is not my favorite up to date.

and to keep this subject, ("cause I am the one who always changes the subjects) Gadget was a great show and played along with Cool McCool I think Cartoon tendencies were changing a bit and the animation stopped being so steady (like Scooby) and became a bit more fast moving :rolleyes:

So much Scooby bashing, Scooby revolutionized American cartoons. Give Scooby his props.

Scooby only revolutionized American Cartoons in the fact there were so many rip-offs. There aren't a whole slew of original comedic mysteries that came about because of this one...only clones.

This is getting as much bashing as my Electric Company, and School Hoise Rock threads. I guess I'm just too old.

Nothing Wrong with The Electric Company and Schoolhouse Rocks...Scooby is just lame. ;)

Scooby is a good show. I mean I dont remember any show except scooby doo which have been famouse for so long.

I'm not saying that Scooby didn't revolutionize American animation, and I know lots of people love it. It just doesn't appeal to me personally.
