Well, it is a good idea to pull the plug on a series before it gets stupid or run out of ideas.
Lately, the newer Simpsons aren't up to par with what they did in the past.

The issue is that the stars of the show walked out. They are banding together for raises.

i suspect they'll finish the next season at the very least.
maybe we'll get lucky and in order to raise the money to pay the voice talent, they'll have to start releasing more than 1 season on dvd per year!!!

They want to go from about 125K and episode to 325K. It's not that they don't nessecarily deserve it though. Ray Romano makes 1.25 million per episode.

The simpsons havnt lost anything. It is still as good as its always been. Maybe some of you need to see if you are the same? I was a adult when it started and because I was growen already I didnt change.
But I think if the simpsons did get taken off I wouldnt feel bad because the show has had over ten years I think. If they dont have ideas then thats them. I really thing I heard they order them through 2005. But who knows I dont believe anything I read of forums like this!

i really dont think the'll get rid of the simpsons. fox has made sooooo much money on it so i doubt it'll happen. besides they said the'll get rid of it a few years ago(as taz said) and they didnt cuz there was a vote on it. LOLZ! i say we start a simpsons forum!!!!!! or a simpsons message board!!!!!

Well, eventually, the Simpsons will start getting stupid and its impact won't be as great as before.
Why soil a great series with some lacking final episodes?

they have been goin for (about) 14-15 years strong, at least i think they have. its a phenomenon, but they have done just about everything. and idc wat u say xaviers, they are running out of ideas and its getting worse. they are however, bringing back family guy, which could replace teh money they mite lose from the simpsons cancelation
