Samurai Champloo new show to adult swim just saw a preview of it anyothers it looks okay but we'll see

It's VERY good. I've seen it before, about a week before it got a US liscense so I only got through a few episodes :(. By the director of bebop, looks similar just higher detail. Follows three characters, a ronin, a thug like person, and this girl with no family. In the first episode, the two swordsmen both do things to upset the government, and in the middle of doing this, they meet up with each other and try to kill each other. In the middle of their fighting, they are arrested, and are going to be executed. The girl was working in the restaurant where they met, and thus finds out about the execution by being right there. So, she figures out a plan and saves them. In return, she makes the two of them go on a journey with them to find a smaurai who smells like sunflower seeds. They agree reluctantly, and go. However, they keep trying to kill each other along the way.

That is sort of a brief synopsis without spoilers, it's action packed, and the crazy non-samurai break dances a lot.

Anyway, it will be good. Trust me.

Actually, the hip-hop is only in the (fan-subbed) theme. Also, I just saw the trailer, and I have seen every single one of those episodes already, and I only saw like 6. Those are all from like the first 3.

so that tralier you saw all of those eps are only three but you said you only saw six how long is the serieres

So far, one season. I had seen about six fan-subs, then a US liscense was obtained so i stopped watching.

I didn't get to see this one via fansub, so yeah - I'm hoping to check it out now. If I'm not mistaken, the DVDs are out for this one, as well - for those who don't like CN/AS.

just saw samurai champloo on adult swim its awesome, was a million times better than what i thought it would be. the show reminds me of ruroni kenshin except the fact that theres blood,stabbing,slicing etc. etc. etc. (not that thats a bad thing) :P

Yeah, some of us have seen things you won't see for years. For me most of the time when something finally makes it to CN I either already own it or it's been so long since I've seen it that I may check it out to see 1) How bad CN butchers it(they've gotten alot better), 2) How bad the Dub is on the title, or 3) Watch it again because I've forgotten most of it(only if I remember that I liked it....like "Read or Die" for example). :angel:

Ok, I saw the episode...

They did a bad job choosing the voices (Great actors though).

The theme, contrary to what you may believe, is the correct theme, and was not made by americans.

The violence in uncensored, although it was censored when the ronin said "You worthless piece of" WAKKA WAKKA WAKKA.

Tonight's episode is one of my favorites, and the next two (a two parter) are also very good.

i dont think they replaced it and if they did case closed and lupin the third will proably take over.

It is pretty good. Did the main character had spike voice?

I watched it, I liked it much. The whole concpet of the anacronistic time is really interesting.
