C-Man - January 26, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
No actually miscalculated , it should be three
given2god - January 26, 2007 06:49 PM (GMT)
1. Three oranges, you took three so you have three.
2. 12, dozen equals twelve no matter the value of the objects.
3. ?
4. they are the same value, but I’d prefer the half carload of dimes becuz I’d have less to carry into the bank.
5. three minutes…aka each cat is killing one fish in the same amount of time.
6. su madre…lol
7. neither, 8 and 8 equals 16….
8. are the trains traveling towards or away from eachother?
9. six
10. well if you are any kind of genius the pairs will be folded together so it would only take one, but if they are all loose, you must reach in 3 times.
11. the two sons go across first, then one comes back with the boat and sends the father over, then the other comes back with the boat and they both travel back over, they are now all on the opposite shore without having collapsed the canoe.
12. whether it’s legal or not, who would want to marry a dead man?
13. quarter and a nickel, one isn’t a nickel, but the other is.
Shonoby - January 26, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
- 3 oranges
- 12
- Yes, because a human cant go to the ocean floor w/o a machine
- They're the same

- He has no father, his father died, the big Italian is his Stepfather.
- Neither
- 15 miles
- 6
- 6 time because that is more than 1half of all socks
- No they can't use it they all weight 400lbs
- No because he's dead
- 50 and 5
FrozenKnight - January 27, 2007 10:18 AM (GMT)
1) 3 oranges
2) 12
3) unknown (you can find a coin just about anywhere his profession doesn't matter.)
4) dimes (their relative size to nickels is smaller than 1/2 so i make more of a profit.)
5) 3 minutes. (if using algebra, in reality it could take any amount of time)
6) she's his mother
7) mathematically neither, grammatically both i think.
8) 15 miles. (if the bird doesn't get tired)
9) 6 cows.
10) none. there are 10 pairs in the drawer.
11) first the 2 sons go, then one takes the canoe back then the farther goes, then one son goes back picks up the other and brings him to the opposite shore.
12) no, he's dead.
13) half dollar and nickel.
Zaqufant - January 27, 2007 01:54 PM (GMT)
I'll give you the correct answers now. (well, the ones my teacher gave us. I think some are wrong)
| QUOTE |
1)3 2)12 3) no, the makers of the coin wouldn't have known it was BC 4) dimes. they're much smaller than nickles. 5) 3 minutes. 6) his mom 7) neither. 8 and 8 is 16 8) 15 miles 9) 6 cows 10) 3 (the first ones either blue or red, and you might get a match on the second. But you will get a match on the thrid one) 11) first the 2 sons go, then one takes the canoe back then the farther goes, then one son goes back picks up the other and brings him to the opposite shore. 12)nope. he's dead 13) half dolar and a nickel

TheHawgMaster - January 29, 2007 03:49 AM (GMT)
I was thinking it would be eleven socks since then you'd only have to reach in once.
charlie - January 29, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
The teachers answers are all correct. Which do you disagree with?
The only beef I have is with number 8. It doesn't say the trains are going towards each other.
I missed number 7. I knew number 11 but didn't take time to figure it out all the way before I checked the answer.
Zaqufant - January 30, 2007 04:08 AM (GMT)
I didn't copy the riddles word for world. i beleive on the paper it said the trains were going at eachother. Sorry for the cofusion.

:D No worries. I wouldn't have gotten them all right anyway.
So do you understand all the answers?
TheHawgMaster - February 2, 2007 03:49 AM (GMT)
I still think it should be eleven socks :P
