I dunno. He's just PURE evil ever since he become helplessly obsessed with Rambaldi. According to Jack he used to be a nice guy.

he's evil beyond evil... he is the "personification of evil" if i might quote from dr. jeyll and mr. hyde... he's like hyde... no remorse.

He was sorta evil to begin with. When Emily was alive in season 1 in seemed possible for him to progress. Now that he's an obsessed maniac widower, he has gone beyond evil. He thinks he's Rambaldi for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was like really realizing how evil he actually was when he "killed" his wife but when it dawned on me like the extent of his evilness was when he wouldn't send a team after marshall was abducted.
