Just this past Tuesday, June 30th, the newest installment in the Harry Potter video games, Half-Blood Prince, was released. The video game is meant to mirror the Half-Blood Prince move, which is scheduled to be premiere July 15th.
In the game, you travel around the vast castle known as Hogwarts. Navigating through the castle and the grounds is hard, so the game has integrated Nearly Headless Nick as a navigator to your destinations.
As you control Harry Potter, you pursue your sixth year at Hogwarts while also following the main Half-Blood Prince events. In special cases, the player is also allowed to momentarily control Ron Weasley and Ginny Weasley.
Here's what EA Games has to say about the game:

Return to Hogwarts to help Harry survive his sixth year. You will have a chance to engage in exciting wizard duels, mix magical ingredients in Potions class and take to the air as the Seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. You may even get sidetracked by Ron's romantic entanglements as you journey towards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince! |
Ooooh, I'm planning on getting that at some point. Real shame that there's loads of other things I'm wanting at the moment.
I've heard it's just mediocre, but that was from a video game magazine, so I don't think they were Potter fans. I would guess Potter fans would like the game more than non-fans.
