Outside the castle walls, the night skies glowed from the intensity of the moon as it's borrowed light shined upon the school grounds. The Headmaster was to be found abit away from the lake, with his golden phoniex, taking advantage of the seemingly empty night.

"We haven't dueled in a good long while, Peaks. We both need to keep in shape if we're going to continue keeping guard of this place every night."

The large bird noded in understanding, catching the wand in his beak that was tossed from his human companion. Ricky took a small breath, as he took his stance, composing himself and focusing his emotions as he held one palm facing the lake to his right.

He gave off an excited grin, the moonlight causing the two to give off a small glow, the young headmaster's robe flowing in the nightime breeze. Peaks held the wand firmly in his beak, Ricky held his hand, water begining to rise from the lake in a small circle.

"Ready?"

A full moon. A large yellow full moon. Not a cloud in sky on this night. Perfect. Almost. Victor walked out into the castle grounds. He sighed. "Shit." he muttered under his breath. A full moon was almost as painful as a woman's PMS cycle for a werewolf. The only difference was that he could predict exactly when it would come.

The sixth year approached the headmaster and his pheonix.

"Sir, this is the first time that I'm not sure where to go." He said softly, "I may endanger the students here. Please, tell me what to do."

The moonlight fell softly on the boy's skin and his appearance began to change.

Before he could continue, Ricky noticed his feathery companion tilt it's head in curiousity. As he followed the phoenix's gaze, he lowered his hand, the water poured back into the lake once again, forming a surprised look towards the arriving student. He turned to notice the girl, and spoke, giving a warm smile.

"It's a little late out to be wondering around, don't you thi-...."

But before he could continue, he heard her mention of the full moon, and watched as hair began to cover the child's face. His demeanor quickly changed, as he whistled for Peaks to get closer, rushing to the side of the student.

"Have you taken your Wolfsbane Potion today? Regardless, let's get you some cover from the light. And drink this..."

While he spoke, the Pheonix arrived at his shoulders, as the young Headmaster had removed a glass vial from an inside pocket from his robe, as he began to fill it with teardrops from the bird atop his shoulders. Quickly after handing it to the girl, he placed a hand behind her shoulder, as he guided her to a nearby tree for shade.

"The tears should slow the process for a moment, untill I can think of a way to keep you isolated."

All he said, while taking several glances up at the clear, blue sky. Oh fun... no clouds. How very fun indeed...

Victor took the vial between his furry half-paws. "I..I..I'm sorry." he stuttered as he forced the liquid into his mouth. He grimaced slightly as the transformation paused for a brief moment.

Victor wondered about what the headmaster had asked him, "Have you taken your Wolfsbane Potion today?"

Wolfsbane? Wolfsbane? He knew he had forgotten something when he wrote to his mother to pick up some things for school.

"Sir, where can I get more Wolfsbane potion?" the sixth year gasped.

Chester staggered out to a seemingly empty spot just outside the castle. He looked to his left, then to his right where he saw the headmaster and another student who seemed to be in the same predicament. As his fingers painfully grew several inches longer than there normal length and the silver-brown hair he possessed began to spread to his face, he darted to where the others stood, seeking help and advice.

Wraith looked up at the moon, how peaceful it was just sitting there. He shifted his sitting posture because the bark under him was uncomfortable, he was sitting in a tree. Looking down at his claymore he could see the dried black blood of his victims. He always forgets to clean his sword. Sheathing his blade he fully encloses himself in his black cloak, hood up as always. Looking back up at the moon he ponders.

Its been years... I wonder if she even remembers me. Does she even have feelings for me anymore...

He feels a pain in his heart, but not physically...

Joey sat down on the front steps of the castle that were illuminated brightly by the high full moon. as she stared out at the grounds her mind drifted to times when she was younger and to times when she hadn't been so lonely on these warm nights. she was always one to wait for what she wanted these days instead of going out and searching for it. why wait...? her mind thought almost bitterly. what makes you so sure he'll come back this time around? Joey rested her chin on her arms with a small smile as she pushed that thought away. he always ends up coming back... she said softly out loud to answer the thoughts. to that she would always hold onto. the faith that no matter what he would always end up at her side again.

Chester weakly cried out in pain as his ears extended past their normal height. His cloths slowly tore as his shin bones grew and his spine curved. His finger nails began to turn claw-like and his toes pushed holes through the front of his shoes. Seeking alone space, he ran to the top of a near by tree - to suffer where he wouldn't hurt anyone.

Chago walked out of the castle towards the grounds the grounds as he usually did every night. Someone has to make sure the creatures of the forest don't kill each other. As he was walking down the steps he spotted Joey sitting alone. He went and sat down next to her.

He always comes back you know. Its just... this time was a bit longer.

He could tell she was upset but he knew he couldn't do anything to help.... not without his brother.

He heard a noise, looking around to see it source. Wraith knew someone was changing. Taking out his blade he stood up on the branch and scanned the area.

I know you're here somewhere little creature.

He spotted it going up a tree. He jumped down and walked towards his target, gripping the blade tighter with each approaching step...

joey looked over at chago with a small smile and nodded. i know he will. she said softly as she looked back at the grounds. besides. she added after a cople minutes in silence. he was never one to leave you and me alone in the same place... she said with a small teasing smile.

Chester gripped at his chest for fear of it ripping apart - the pain was so great. As he attempted to hold himself together, he sensed he would not be alone for much longer. In a desperate attempt to stay in solitude and not hurt or be hurt, he scrambled higher in the tree where the branches didn't easily support his weight. He coughed to muffle the howl he so badly wanted to cry before squeezing his knees to his chest, a feeble attempt to reverse the transformation.

Ooc: Oh snaps. :P How to handle two werewolves. Err...

As he rushed himself to think of a place to hold the morphing student, he was struck dumbfounded as yet another student approached him for help. Why both has taken to neglecting their potion, he had no idea. Nevertheless....

"Alright you two, I ask that you do your best to keep yourselves under control, and follow me quickly. Wolfsbane potion is not something we keep regularly in stock..."

He continued to speak, as the phoenix had begun to take flight, and now made it's way towards the Womping Willow, diving head first to peck at the root near the base. The young Headmaster held a hand on both of their shoulders, rushing them in persuit of the bird.

"I need you two to agree to keep this area, I'm about to show you, a secret. I'm going to need to isolate you two away from the students, as well as from each other. Werewolves, even to their own kind, aren't the most pleasant to be around."

He made several glances up to the clear sky again, hoping no other students ventured out tonight. Werewolf or not.

after a couple minutes of silence between then joey pulled out a thin flask of firewhiskey and took a small swig from it to ward off the chilled night. have you talked to him lately...? she asked as she held out the flask in an offer of him being able to have some of the amber liquid if he wanted. her eyes stayed in the silver lighted grounds before them.

He grabbed the flask and chugged some of the liquid, it was warm in his throat. He handed it back to her and looked down at the ground thinking for a bit.

"I haven't actually..."

He looked over in the distance and stared at the grounds.

"But I can't help but think he's nearby..."

Wraith watched as the boy was carried off by someone. He sheathed his sword and scowl.

"Damnit..."

He sighed and walked back to his tree but before jumping up to the branch he was previously on before, he look over at the castle feeling the presence of people he knew...

well for my sake and maybe even yours lets hope that this little hunch of yours is right... she said quietly as she took another gulp from her flask before putting it back in the inner pocket of her robe where it magically refilled itself on entering.

Chago continued to stare out into the forest, he activated his Byakugan. Veins near his temples bulged and he could see 360 degrees. His telescopic view allowed him to see through the trees till he spotted Wraith. His Byakugan faded and his eyes went back to normal.

"Be right back..."

He disappeared instantaneously and appeared behind Wraith. Wraith took out his sword and quickly had it on Chago's throat before he could react.

"Little brother..."

"Good to see you again, you mind sheathing that thing I don't want to kill you."

He smiled at his older brother.

"Don't make me laugh."

He sheathed his sword and stepped back observing his twin.

nodded but before she could say anything he was gone. with a small sigh she rested her chin on her arms that she had rested on her folded up knees in front of her. her eyes never leaving the grounds.

Chago put out his arm.

"Grab it I'm going to apparate us out."

Wraith did so with a confused look.

"What the hell is apparate?"

Chago sighed remembering that Wraith never went to wizarding school. He disappeared and reappeared to his previous spot with Joey.

joey looked up at him when he appeared in front of her again, and rose a brow at him, find anything interesting while away...? she asked with a small smile.

"I found a bum."

He chuckled and sat down. Wraith scowled at him.

"I leave you two to catch up."

He winked at Joey then disappeared. Wraith stood their feeling awkward and sighed.

"You're the only mortal to ever make me feel different."

joey smirked slightly and a small laugh escaped her lips, you are different wraith. she said lightly as she stood up from where she was sitting and looked up at him. i think that's one of the reasons why i love you so much...she added as she took a small step towards him. her head tilting to the side as she continued to take in his face. a fresher memory to hold onto for when or if he left again.

"I thought about you everyday..."

He approached her slowly.

"I'll always love you"

And with that said he placed his lips on hers and wrapped his arms around her waist.

joey's arms wrapped around him tightly as she kissed him back fiercely. her feet barely leaving the ground as he held her but nothing seemed to matter to her except his lips on hers once again.
