OOC: OMG... you finally made my request. I feel so special.
The crowded streets of Hogsmeade faired no chance at pulling Emmanuelle away from the quaint, little boutiques boarding the cobbled path. The threatening sky lingered above warning all shoppers to take cover. Elle loved the rain, the smell, the touch. There was something unique about it. Maybe she found something romantic about it. Her heels grazed lightly against the stone as she pivetted her body towards the nearest shop. She had come to replenish her drab wardrobe. Forntunately her father liked making her presentable so money was never an problem. A finger dusted the white, wooden framing of the window attentively. Her eyes gazed along the artistic assembly of items. Non caught her fancy as of yet but something would eventually catch her sway.
She weaved a hand through her raven curls instinctively. Emmanuelle pulled her black jacket tighter around her torso as the first spots of rain plummetted along her cheek. A soft smile flashed at the corners of her lips with satisfaction. The noise of screaming women blurred from her ears. It was funny how the streets deepened into chaos. She wondered slowly through the running popualtion. Her hands slipped into her pockets comfortably. Elle pondered whether she would eventually find George in a pub when she turned back. It was highly likely. Her attention was captured by a small shop on her left. It had to be new surely. Elle had wondered this streets so many times and never come across this beauty. She was pulled closer in an innate action.
The clothes within the window hyponotised her vulnerable mind. She had been looking for such elegance and finally she had found it. Emmanuelle poised on the scarlet robe. The wild strips of colour sent a shiver down her spine. She had to go in. A hand draped the door handle excitedly. Another mesmerizing smile captured her lips. As the door creeked open, a bell chimed above. That had become an annoyance. All the shop owners felt a need to possess one. The hangers of clothes drew her in further. Wow! Elle screamed mentally.

Dustin looked at his ripped and stained robe that he was carrying in his arm. Dustin frowned at his unluckiness that occurred the day before. He was here now in Hogsmeade to buy a new robe since he felt the one in his arms was unfit to wear. He was hoping to find a similar style to the one he had. Yet Dustin was not able to find the Robe Store. Where is the place? He wondered---feeling both a little mad and sad. He wondered if the news of his prank spread that far. Sadly, he kept on searching. Then he thought back to yesterday at what happened.....
He knew that he should not have released those 2 mice in the General Rec Room. The two Ravenclaw girls there did have a scare when they encountered the mice scampering around their feet. Dustin could not help but laughing. But some 5th year Ravenclaw boys who headed in their direction heard the screams from the girls. So Dustin had to take off quickly. Doing so, he slipped and fell down on a large greasy spot that happened to be on the floor. He did manage to evade detainment by the Ravenclaw boys. But Dustin knew that he had to hide in his Common Room in safety.
He managed to arrive okay but he closed the door too quickly. Part of his robe was caught in the door and Dustin was unaware as he tried to keep on running. R-R-Rip! To his shock, he realized that his robe was ruined. Oh no, I have to go and get a new Robe this weekend. He moaned. This robe may be far beyond being magically mended. Besides it was stained badly too.
Now, back in the street of Hogsmeade, he stood there looking around wondering what to do next. He was not planning on going back to Hogwarts without a new robe or a well-mended robe. Looking around the street, Dustin found a new looking Robe Store and walked in. It may not have been the same place Dustin was attempting to locate. But he liked the looks of the surroundings. He thought that the new place might help with buying a new robe. Meanwhile Dustin was unaware of the Slytherin student who just walked in the same store perhaps a few minutes ago.
emmanuelle snape - June 14, 2009 07:07 PM (GMT)
The desire to possess the scarlet wonder pulled her body closer. How could she not take come across this shop before. She took a deep breath calming her shivering limbs. This was definitely an over reaction, however the intense thoughts of money lingering in her pockets excited her. She had no idea how she would cope without her father's gifts. The luxuries she had grown to love would be non exsistent. Elle's eyes gazed the delicate fabrics resting before her. They wanted her more than she wanted them. The shopkeeper could of picked no other day to flash the garmet in full view. Emmanuelle had been played, however she liked it. Both parties in the end would be satisfied.
Her feet jolted towards the hanging robe. The soft mutterings of the owner faded into the background. Nothing would disturb her now. She knew what she wanted and her mind wasn't going to change for anything or anyone. A hand lightly brushed away the loitering raindrops from her jacket. She ended the crazied smile. Any on looker would be vacating the premises right about now. She fluttered a hand through the radiant material. The robe gently flowed with the calm air. I think I'm in love! she thought. The room blurred from her mind until all she could see was the robe.
McDeans - June 16, 2009 01:36 AM (GMT)
Meanwhile Dustin walked through the Shop to see if possibly they carried the same brand and style as the one he originally wore. Finding a salesperson, she haughtily told him that the place did have a similar style but NOT the same brand. Dustin was told from the salesperson that the shop is known for its Stringfellow name-not another brand. She pointed him in the general direction where to find something similar to what he had. While handing Dustin a bag, she even said, “We do not want that robe for an exchange either. Put it in this bag for now. Maybe a charity will take it.”
Dustin placed his torn and stained robe in a shopping bag and sadly walked to where to find a new robe. He suddenly was more price-conscious when he realized how much it cost. Even though Dustin could afford one robe fairly easily, he was not sure if he wanted to part with his cash. Dustin really did like the style but thought it might be somewhat overpriced. He knew that there might be a K-Mart type store somewhere around Hogsmeade. But he did not want to walk out of this place. Besides Dustin was not sure where a discount Clothing store was located within close walking distance.
Dustin saw a girl that seemed fascinated with the robe but did not want to bother her for advice. Besides he did not want to bother a Slytherin girl that was fairly close by. He looked back at the robes on the rack. He liked the robes but not the price that much. Dustin wondered if there was a discount rack somewhere. Suddenly something in the store caused his allergy to act up. Then he sneezed a couple of times loudly. He wisely did turn his head away from the robes. Nobody was even in the direction where he sneezed. But he knew almost anyone in the store could have heard him sneeze. Sighing and saying to nobody in particular, Dustin said, “Is there a discount rack or closeout rack in here?”
emmanuelle snape - June 17, 2009 07:22 PM (GMT)
The sneeze, sudden and loud, shocked Emmanuelle back into reality. This really wasn't healthy. Clothes were a necessity. She would end up spending a fortune on the mesmerising robe, to ruin it within a couple of days. It was what Elle did best, spending her Daddy's money without considering the consequences. Although entertaining George was an extra highlighted skill. One day it would end badly, or maybe he would enslave her until the debt was paid off. She couldn't think about that now. This was the present not the future. Living by each day had been her chosen scheme and if the worst came to the worst she would plot it then.
Her face swayed towards the boy making all the racket. He seemed to be unfamiliar with the ways of shopping. Unfortunately he had chosen the wrong shop to venture into. The high quality goods were enough to put any small timer off. The morbid robe stuffed under his arms almost made her laugh. What a state! she thought. Emmanuelle felt sorry for him the only way she could. It must have taken some courage to waltz into the store like that. Elle loosened her grip on the scarlet robe hanging it back on the rack. It would wait, and anyway she hadn't looked around the rest of the beauties.
She wondered closer to the boy placing one hand on his shoulder. The notion provoked a return of the shock. She smiled softly hiding the beast within her. "The prices stutter over there. Be sure to check them out, and please throw that thing..." she hesitated, pointing to his robe. "To the dogs." Her body danced slowly towards the left focusing on an inviting rack.
McDeans - June 19, 2009 02:34 AM (GMT)
Dustin almost was scared when she placed her hand on his shoulder. He wondered if she was going to hit him for sneezing. He thought that maybe she did not see him turn his head the other direction away from the robes. But she suggested a place in the store where the prices was a little cheaper. But when she mentioned the condition of his robe that he was carrying, Dustin was annoyed at her remarks. He just had to say something to her. Instead of heading to where she suggested that Dustin should shop or browse, Dustin placed the bag that contained his robe down by a nearby wall. He then took a few steps in Elle’s direction and replied.
“Hey, Miss Whomever You Are. I had a couple of major accidents with that robe. Someone spilled grease on me in the common room and someone else performed, as a bad prank, casted some spell that made my robe tear.” Dustin hoped that his skilled theater training back home would be influential that Elle might believe his lie. Although it was stained and torn, it was not the reason for it.
But then Dustin did tell truthfully to her:
“ I am not poor but I am not rich either. I can reasonably afford one of these robes near me. I try to look nice sometimes. I am not some homeless person that is just admiring robes. But maybe I should check out the lower priced Stringfellow’s robes too like you suggested. If it still look reasonably good, I might buy it anyway.” However Dustin spotted a nearby Black robe with a few Yellow stripes. Dustin liked the design of that particular robe. Dustin picked it up and pressed it against his chest. Turning to a nearby convenient mirror, Dustin smiled until he noticed the price. Sighing, Dustin said,
“At least, I can afford one or two fairly well. But I wonder if I better examine the cheaper Stringfellow’s robes too.” Dustin stood there wondering what to do.

emmanuelle snape - June 19, 2009 07:13 PM (GMT)
Emmanuelle took a mental note of the playful toying the boy had experienced. Although she had moved on from pathetic little prank similiar to the one he had described, ideas were always useful. She could even sell them off to the new first years Elle had been dying to corrupt. You had to start somewhere. The boy seemed stressed from the chaos unleashed on him. It was always the way. Your hit when you least expect it. She wondered if the shop owner would dispose of the robe while the boy was distracted. Elle made brief eye contact with the women before focusing on the direction of the boy. She could only see his swift movement through the corner of her eye, however he looked almost bemused by the glittering tags on each garmet. Beauty was a swine but you had to pay for luxury no matter what the thing.
The clothes racks seemed almost boring after noticing the boy. There was definitely something she could put her finger on about him. The boy had courage. Emmanuelle allow admired him for that. Maybe she would tone down her petty insults. She dusted a finger along the metal hangers. "It's Miss Snape." She guessed she should be polite. After all getting into an argument in here may land her in the street. She tediously flicked through the robes. The occasional hummed uttered her lips as she pulled an item from the huddle. Her eyes continued to fluttered from the robes to the boy. "Shame you didn't get tar and feathers." she twittered. Elle weaved a hand through her raven hair. Maybe she should try something on. Mrs. Stringfellow was most definitely get the wrong impression.
McDeans - June 23, 2009 01:21 PM (GMT)
Dustin was stunned from a trace of fear for a couple of seconds when he heard the name SNAPE. He has heard stories from a couple of former students about the late Professor Snape. But he quickly recovered from his earlier feelings. He looked back at his shopping bag with the stained robe. Dustin was privately hoping that a dumb customer would steal it without looking inside. With that thought in his mind, Dustin smiled briefly. He was also thinking Imagine the look on his or her face at what they could have stolen. They would probably just throw it away or make rags out of it.
Dustin looked back again at the robe he was observing a few minutes ago. He finally made a decision. He took the robe again from the rack and told Elle in almost a bold voice, “Miss err, Snape, I might go ahead and buy this one. This robe looks sturdy and stylish. The size Medium is my size. I just need to be sure that I like it. I just need to try it on to see if it fits and doesn’t itch.”
Dustin pressed the robe against his chest again and looked in the same mirror earlier. He smiled for a couple of seconds, saying “Good thing that I can afford one or two of things sometimes. I think that this robe looks okay on me. I just need to find a fitting room. It is probably near the back somewhere.”
emmanuelle snape - June 27, 2009 08:45 PM (GMT)
The usual fear corrupted the boy's face as she revealed her legendary last name. It did get a little tedious after a while. She wanted to be the famous one, unlike her former ancestors. These were her years to shine and she would try her best to get noticed for all the right reasons. Her group of cohorts within the slytherin realm knew her to be unique, in such a fashion. It really didn't do for her to be judged like that. A girl could only do some much. Emmanuelle focussed on a gorgeous black robe strangely caught by her hand. The smooth lining flashed a quiver along her spine. This was definitely the one to engage in. She pulled the garment out of the crowded rack. The material slowly swayed from the force. A hand pressed the robe to her chest as she twirled towards a mirror.
The mutterings of the young boy craving her attention drew her from the mirror. She had hoped the boy wouldn't get clingy and want everything from her. Opinions definitely weren't best to be asked from her. Elle tended to speak her mind, whcih was often a bad thing. She tried to nod towards the boy, grabbing the shop keepers gaze. It was her job anyway. "Great choice." Emmanuelle uttered hoping it would push the boy towards the fitting room. She seemed pretty sure she would be running in there any minute if he showed no sign of moving. The black garmet still rested in her hand. She slowly moved towards the back of the shop. Each subtle movement left her closer to trying her exciting new robe on. If only this was a luxury outing.
McDeans - June 29, 2009 12:17 AM (GMT)
ooc: Sorry. I had a hard time deciding on how to have a closing sentence in this story. Hope it is OK. :)
For some reason, Dustin had a tingling feeling that he was beginning to bother Elle. He thought that maybe his taking the Divination class was a part of how he felt. But he could not be that certain. At the same time, Dustin felt that girls were better at selecting clothes than boys. Dustin wanted an opinion of a girl. He just hoped that someday the ‘Inner Eye’ in Divination class could help him in selecting clothes. Even though Dustin was actively involved in theater back home, Dustin was not involved in the Costume Selections there. The people there seemed to know which ones to use. They told him that it was partly due to research, color, style, and how it relates to the character on stage.
Dustin felt somewhat assured when Elle said “Great Choice” He said, “ I guess that my intuition may be right this time. I better go now and try it on.” As Dustin was heading in the direction of the Boys’ fitting room, Dustin felt that he need to say one more thing “Hope you find what you need.” Dustin thought that maybe it may have sounded a little bland. But he was trying to say something nice which was hard sometimes. And he still was wary of her last name SNAPE.
He suddenly focused his attention on the new robe that he was planning to buy. Dustin still privately hoped that someone would steal the stained older torn robe in the shopping bag. He left it by the wall. If nobody took it, Dustin just planned to “forget” to take it with him home. Dustin smiled at the possible humor of some stupid thief taking an almost worthless Robe in that abandoned shopping bag.

[ooc: this one is what Dustin looks like. The smaller pic to the upper left corner is Max]
emmanuelle snape - June 29, 2009 07:06 PM (GMT)
Emmanuelle had been through a lot of strange situations but this seemed to just skip up the list. The boy acted as though they had a non exsistent friendship. She didn't even know the boy's name for starters and anyway he was only a kid. Maybe she had clung to older company for the prospects of being treated like an adult when she started out at the school. If Elle read the boy on judgements alone, she considered that he may be looking for that same relationship. That was worth a chance, if that. He seemed to be trying hard to be civil with her since the exposure of her name. Maybe it was time to help the boy out. Stop him from suffering any longer awkwardness.
She hoped that this would be the last robe she set eyes on. The soft shimmer of material sent her heart pulsating. Maybe she was too obsessed with clothes, however this was most definitely a rare find these days. The quality of produces within these streets had become dire and Elle had began looking esle where. She found no satisfaction supporting the local community if they didn't have what she wanted. She stood still on the spot. The time had come where she needed to change her routine ways. She may see herself as unique but others classed her as a regular slytherin annoyance or where to terrified to voice their views.
"I'll be waiting young sir..." she uttered. Her head tilted in the boy's direction as he swiftly disappeared into the fitting room. She couldn't just leave the poor surrounded by nice things. That was far too tempting. Emmanuelle waited until the boy had ventured the possiblities of the robe. If he wanted her opinion she would be there, if not she would walk a separate path taking with her the glamourous robe still clasped in her fingers. "I must really know that boy's name." she mumbled under her breath as she tentatively gazed across the garmet again.
McDeans - July 3, 2009 11:51 PM (GMT)
It just took a really short time for Dustin to put on the new robe. He smiled at the comfortable feel of it. Dustin already liked the stylish appearance of the robe. He felt that it made himself look like some dignitary. He even did a really quick famous Napoleon pose in the fitting room since nobody was apparently watching. Suddenly Dustin realized that it would be rude to leave any Slytherin waiting long. It may be rare for a Slytherin to be reasonably nice to a Hufflepuff like himself. Dustin thought that maybe she had some respect for him because the Sorting Hat was considering Slytherin too on his first day at Hogwarts. But Dustin knew that he better hurry back since it was rude to keep her waiting. Besides he also realized that she was also apparently shopping.
Quickly, Dustin walked out of the Fitting Room with a sudden thought. I never told Elle my name. Guess that I better give it to her. She is nice enough . Dustin had a half-smile on his face. ”Sorry, I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Dustin--Dustin Shoren. Sorry to keep you from shopping. Guess I am ignorant sometimes.” Dustin patted the new robe that he was wearing. “ I like this robe. I am going to buy this one. I am not going to take the other one home. Even a second-handed Robe would look better on me than that stained one I left in the corner.
Dustin carefully put the new robe back on the hanger and almost headed to the counter where the salesgirl was waiting. Looking back one more time, Dustin realized that he better say ‘Thank You’. His Hufflepuff acquaintance, Max, always kept insisted to Dustin that it is just common courtesy to say those polite words. Dustin quickly said in an almost too bland voice, “Oops, I better say Thanks. I sometimes forget to do to.” After a brief pause, Dustin took the Robe to the counter and bought it. He was inwardly satisfied with his purchase as he started leaving the counter.
emmanuelle snape - July 11, 2009 02:12 PM (GMT)
Dustin. That would be a name to remember when found lost in the crowd of the school corridors. Especiallly in an assembly of slytherins. The event was bound to happen sometime seeing the grazes of his old robe. You can't kid a kidder! That was surely the work of his own demise. He would be an obedient follower none the less. They had come this far. First name terms was an accomplishment and an extra friend wouldn't do much harm. Elle was running out of friendly faces. He seemed one she could trust and in turn she had the ability to help the young lad out. Trouble was always around the corner and Emmanuelle could be sure Dustin would encounter it one of these days.
She gazed across at the boy. Her opinion had obviously provoked a happiness within him. The robe must have given him a sense of adulthood and pride as he tried the material on. Emmanuelle had get to find that beauty. It was all very well having a gorgeous garmet in her hand but if the robe looked dire when fitted it would be simply tossed aside for the next one. Elle liked nothing but the best. She closed on the fitting rooms. Elle flashed a soft smile towards the boy as he wondered from the counter. Her feets drifted slowly towards the back of the shop hoping to find a silk curtain to hide behind, or that was the common routine.
Scarlett_x - August 22, 2009 11:59 PM (GMT)
Scarlett stepped into the famous clothing store, and naturally was not impressed with what she saw. She walked over to the clothing racks, and sifted through them. "Rags." She muttered to herself. Scarlett wondered why anyone would want to wear this drab.
MalfoyzGrl_xoxo - September 3, 2009 10:07 PM (GMT)
Lilac walked into Stringfellow's Robe Boutique. She noticed a Hufflepuff leaving. It was a nice little shop, quaint was more like it. She didn't really need new dress robes, but decided to look anyway. As she walked down the rows and rows of robes, a pair of brilliant blue robes caught her eye. They were her favorite shade of blue ever created. And they were just Lilac's size. She looked at the tag to make sure she could afford them. Not that money was an issue because her parents were rich, but because they put her on an allowance. Lilac put the robes on and looked in the mirror. The color looked beautiful on her, and they fit perfectly. She couldn't think of any robes she had that were this amazing. She took the robe off and slipped it back on the hanger. She changed back into her own robe, and came out of the fitting room. She heard another door open, and turned around to look.
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 02:11 AM (GMT)
Natalie walked into the Robe Boutique, looking carefully at all the robes. She needed new dress robes, her father wanted to have an elegant ball and it sounded like a good idea to her. But therefore she needed dress robes that come off as stunning for her. That would probably take a while to find.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 07:42 PM (GMT)
Corvus walked out of the changing room with a heavy robe on, he spotted Natalie and wasn't sure if she knew. He checked out the heavy robe before changing back to his regular clothes. He continied looking at the winter robes but glanced over at her and noticed she was looking for dressier robes.
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 07:45 PM (GMT)
Natalie's eyes scanned over the dress robes, so boring most of them were. Her eyes then slid over an emerald green dress with the perfect silver robe and her smile widened. Perfect for the ball. She then saw Corvus and smiled. "Hello Corvus, how are you?"
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 07:50 PM (GMT)
Corvus smiled, "I'm doing ok. How about yourself?" He asked as he browsed threw some more robes before finding nothing particularly interesting, he walked a shot ways to the cloaks
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 07:57 PM (GMT)
"Ahh, I'm alright." She said while she ran her fingers over the material. "I'm just thinking of buying this lovely robe and dress for fathers party. Are you going?" She smiled softly.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 08:04 PM (GMT)
"When is it?" He asked and noticed the dress and robe, it was petty and on her it would be magical. "It is a nice dress and robe. Do you even own anything but green and silver?" He said jokingly and smirked at her.
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 08:11 PM (GMT)
"In a week or so, I think. Father is still trying to find a family to host it at their home, he's had no such luck. You should find yourself a date, its going to be quite a night. I'm thinking of going stag." She said with a small chuckle, she just didn't want her father choosing her date. She then looked at the dress, and back at him. "I have blue robes also, I just do feel much better having a lot of house and family pride." She grinned.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 08:17 PM (GMT)
"I'm sure lee would let it happen" he said and looked her in the eye before pretending to find interest in a robe, "I might stop by for a bit, depends on.......some things" he said. "You sound like your father on the house pride comment"
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 08:22 PM (GMT)
"Hm, I must speak to Lee soon then. I think It would be marvelous if he'd allow it. But what about his wife Fleur.. Hm does she even agree with our life style?" She looked at Corvus. "What are these things?" She said raising an eyebrow.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 08:27 PM (GMT)
"I know she doesn't but she's hardly around now so I think it would be ok". He said shruging.he sighed, so she hadn't heard "if the date falls on my transfer" he said looking back at her
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 08:30 PM (GMT)
"Transfer?! What transfer??" She said surprised. What in merlins name was her talking about?
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 08:40 PM (GMT)
Corvus nodded "I'm recruiting for our cause, I'm going to russia, to many here not enough there. I leave in a few weeks. So if I'm still here then ill stop by for a few minutes?"
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 08:43 PM (GMT)
"Oh, I see. Well then I'll have the party moved up so you can stay for the party!" Natalie smiled. "I just have to owl Lee and ask if we can use his home and see if he is alright with it." She grabbed her robes and headed to the counter, waiting for a clerk so she could buy them.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 08:50 PM (GMT)
Corvus nodded, of course she would move it up. He saw that the clerks were busy so he decided it was now or never. Walking over to her he looked down into her eyes "go with me then"
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 09:03 PM (GMT)
Natalie looked up, She was only 5'5; such a tiny girl she was. "Oh of course, But you must wear a green and silver coloring for your dress robes." She smiled softly and poked his cheek. "It will look marvelous with your complexion, but alas you were a Slytherin in school, correct?" She laughed. "All Slytherins pull it off."
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 09:11 PM (GMT)
"Natalie, I'm serious. Go with me to your dads dance party, whatever, as a date" he looking her in the eye, "no I was in Gryffindor" he added softly. The arranged marriage may be off but he had fallen, he was going to try.
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 09:12 PM (GMT)
"A Gryffindor? Really? That's a bit of a shocker." She said with a small laugh. Her eyebrow rose a bit. "A friendly date is fine with me, Corvus. You don't need to ask teh same question twice. "She laughed slightly.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 09:19 PM (GMT)
"Yeah it is." He said. Then shook his head, "I'm not asking as a friend" he said wondering how long it was going to take for her to realize. This was partly why he had talked to her father into letting him go to russia.
Natalie Riddle - March 7, 2010 09:24 PM (GMT)
"Oh lord. Corvus, really? You're a great guy, but well.. you see I just dont' do the whole dating thing after things with Malfoy went south." She sighed. She didn't want to hurt him, he was a good friend.
Oliversgurl01 - March 7, 2010 09:31 PM (GMT)
"So your going to let the mistake of one idiot keep you from having fun and taking a chance? If so then your not the person I thought you were nat.
fleur - March 15, 2010 08:13 PM (GMT)
At first she had considered taking William with her, but certain events had made that a little difficult for her, plus little william looked happy just sitting next to Lizz in her apartment. She would just have to take him out tomorow, or maybe the next day, well some point this week. She was attempting to make an effort, she didn't want Lee to think she was just not trying. Yeah, she would see William tomorow, definitely tomorow. And anyway she had supposedly ment to be meeting Gabrielle in Hogsmeade, though she hadn't seen Gabrielle anywhere. She was actually beginning to think that her younger sister wasn't actually going to turn up. But then Gabrielle had said she would see her at some point. It just made her a little nervous, especially when she was going to get in trouble for not seeing William to see Gabrielle and the girl wouldn't even show up. Gently bushing the nice looking dress robes to the side, to look through the rows, Fleur searched the room for blonde hair and looks much like her own, but she didn't see any. So instead, she took her annoyance out on the robes, trying to find something that Lee might like. She needed to make it up to him somehow, and what better then getting a nice set of dress robes for herself to kick it off. She liked her plan.
Oliversgurl01 - March 15, 2010 08:22 PM (GMT)
A row behind her in the mens robs two men were talking the first wearing a grey cloack and the other a blue cloak. Both were looking threw random discounted robes. The one in gray spoke first "Did you hear about the attack on the ministry?"
The blue cloacked man looked at him and shook his head "No i didn't, what happened. I'm suprised its not in the papers!"
His friend nodded "yeah supposedly as people were coming into work, a guy walked in and walked around the entrance foyer and next thing any one knows, and even before they can figure out who it was, bombs go off!"
THe blue cloack man gasped "oh my lord! Was anyone hurt!?"
"unfortunatly yes! several members of the quidditch department were even killed"
fleur - March 15, 2010 08:32 PM (GMT)
Her fingers slipped down a light mauve dress, as she couldn't help over hear the conversation going on not to far away. Of course, her fingers had been just about to clutch the dress between, but the strange news had stopped her. Mauve definitely wasn't her colour and she was sure that Lee wouldn't thank her at all for buying something of that shade, but she was distracted. What was going on? Had they said a bomb had gone off in the ministry? That couldn't be right, the ministry was one of the safest place's, right? Or maybe that was just something Lee had told her to stop her from worrying about him. The clogs were clicking into place, one by one as she thought of what the men were saying more clearly. A bomb had gone off at the minstry... and where was Lee? Hadn't he mention something about having to go into work today.. but she just couldn't remember, she'd been half asleep and had just mumbled. Moving away from the robes, she turned to confront the two men. Excuse me. Did you just say there was an attack at the ministry? Fleur said nervously, going back over the dream like conversation she had, had with Lee before she had heard the door shut and she had curled back to sleep.

The grey cloack man nodded "yes my dear. around 7 this morning, five bombs went off as the officials went in to work." he said as he and his friend just picked over the robes like the news was nothing much.
The blue cloacked man turned to with a curiouus expression "do they know who the ones who were killed are?"
Sadly the grey cloacked man shook his head "unidentifiable they said the bodies were. All they know is that they worked in the quidditch department, and only way they know that is from the ones being called in never showed but they checked in at the front desk"
