Kristy led Lucas up to her and Laya's bedroom, opening the door just a little to make sure Laya wasn't in there before pulling Lucas in with her.

lucas followed kristy into the room ans swallowed nervously, if your dad catches me in here i'm dead.... he said softly.

It's not like we're going to do anything more then kissing. She told him with a smile.

lucas looked at her with a grin, that still gives him a reason to kill me, but i think i'll risk it.

Kristy grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck. Good. She said quietly.

lucas smiled at her as he wrapped his arms around her waist before leaning down and kissing her lightly on the lips.

Kristy smiled as she kissed him back, pulling herself closer to him.

lucas pulled her closer to to him as he deepened the kiss ever so slightly. one of his hands running up to the back of her neck. his fingers tangling themselves into her hair at the same time.

Kristy ran her hands through his hair as she kissed him. standing on her toes so she could be closer to him.

lucas pulled out of the kiss breathing hard. resting his forhead against hers he smiled, wow.... he breathed as his hand moved to cup her cheek. his thumb brushing her cheek softly.

Kristy grinned. Yeah. She breathed in reply, also breathing heavily.

lucas kissed the lip of her nose lightly, maybe we should sit down...? he asked unsure motioning to the chair at the end of her bed.

Kristy nodded. That sounds good. She smiled.

lucas walked over to the chair with her hand still in his. sitting down he gently tugged on her hand until she was sitting with him on the chair. comfy? he asked softly as he brushed some of her hair behind her ear lightly.

Kristy smiled at him and nodded. Very.

nick walked up the attic steps and opened the door slightly and poked his head in to see both laya and kristy laying in bed. whether they were both sleeping however he wasn't sure.

Kristy was laying in bed wide awake when Nick came in, she looked over at him silently, not quite sure what he was doing in their room.

hey sweetheart. nick smiled when he saw that kristy was awake and walked in a couple steps. i just wanted to make sure you were doing alright... he said quietly so as not to wake laya.

Kristy shrugged slightly. I'm ok. She said, sitting up in her bed.

nick walked over and sat on the edge of her bed, do you want anything to help you sleep...? he asked softly with a small smile.

Kristy shook her head. I've just been thinking about some stuff. She said as she leaned against his side.

nick wrapped an arm around her shoulders lightly, do you want to talk about it...? he asked softly.

Kristy shook her head, then nodded. I just want him back. She explained, her voice strained as she tried to hold back tears.

nick rubber her shoulder softly, you don't have to worry. he'll be back to school before you know it sweet heart... he said gently.

Kristy nodded. I shouldn't have said what I did to Aunty Em. She said softly after awhile.

nick nodded, that's true, but she had no right to slap you like she did either. he said softly.

I know that, but I also know that I shouldn't have said those things. She pointed out.

and that's why you get to go and apologize tomorrow. he said with a small smile.

Kristy nodded. I was going to anyway. She told him.

i thought as much, but i figured i would let you know anyway... he said softly.

Thanks Daddy. She smiled softly.

anytime sweetheart. now go and try and get some sleep. he said softly as he kissed the top of her head lightly.

Kristy nodded. Goodnight daddy. She said softly.

lucas reached kristy and laya's room. knocking softy he opened the door lsightly and poked his head inside curiously, hey kris...you in here...? he said with a smile.

Kristy was sitting on the floor with Laya playing exploding snap. With a grin she jumped up and hugged Lucas. Hey. She said softly.

Laya stood up as well. I'll just go downstairs and talk to mum. She said, walking past the couple.

wait laya...don't you want to be the first to see what i got your sister for christmas? he asked with a grin as he gave kris a wink and adjusted his hold on the box that rustled slightly.

Laya smiled. It's ok, Phil told me what it is, and I really don't want to hang around and witness how she thanks you. She said before slipping out of the room.

Kristy looked at the box, intrigued by what was in it. My brother and sister know what it is? She asked, eyebrows raised.

lucas chuckled at laya's response before nodding at kristy, philp helped me pick it out and must have told her... he said before handing her the box knowing that when she opened it a black kitten with a bow around its neck would be looking up at her.

Kristy opened the box and gasped when she saw the kitten. Carefully she lifted it out of the box and cradled it gently. She's beautiful. She said softly, smiling up at Lucas.
