A small home with an average yard. inside you walk into a small foyer and on the lower floor is a living room, kitchen, and play and bathroom. The Upper floor consists of 5 bedrooms and a bathroom. the next floor up is a shared attic bedroom.

nick orbed into the living room and fell back onto the couch. slouching low on the cushions he propped his feet up on the coffee table and closed his eyes tiredly. scolding his children always had a way of tiring him out.

Lici walked into the lounge room. I thought I heard you. She said, sitting down next to him.

nick turned his head to the side slightly and peeked an eye open to look at her, yeah, just got back...eh... he said tiredly as he re-closed his eyes once more. i'll handle sam from now on by the way... he added before letting out a small yawn.

Lici nodded. Is everything ok with the kids? She asked.

he nodded, yeah, i went and told james and sam that if james got in anymore trouble this year james would get into just as much. he said as he let out another small yawn. james thinks i should deal with sam from now on instead of you. he added as he looked over at her.

Lici nodded. I think that's a good idea. She told him.

you noticed it too then...? he asked before patting the seat next to him for her to sit down.

Lici sat down next to him and nodded. Yeah I've noticed it. It's hard not to notice it.

nick nodded as he sat up on the couch, i'm sorry about that. i don't know why it bugs him so much...the other three are fine with it. coping better... he trailed off in thought.

Lici held his hand. I'm fine with it, his going through a tough stage and he needs you at the moment. It will all sort out. She told him.

yeah i know. its just hard...i mean i know i told them not to prank joey but the fact that he had the guts to try anyway is pretty impressive... he explained.

You do know that he just wants to prove that his better than Phil and James don't you? She asked him.

yeah i know. doesn't stop how attempt from being impressive... nick said with a nod.

Lici laughed and shook her head. Seeing as you were never brave enough to attempt it.

are you kidding? i lived with the women. course then again when i was in school she was a teacher. she become one till after me and sacre left. even then though... he shook his head with a grin.

Lici laughed. So the others aren't getting into too much trouble? She asked.

he shook his head, nothing but their usual shenanigans. he said with a smile.

Which I do not want to know about. Lici grinned, shaking her head slightly.

nick chuckled lightly, its nothing bad. least not death threatening anyway. he said lightly.

Lici grinned and rested her head on his shoulder. You know, now that all of the kids are in school, I was thinking I would go back to healing. She said softly.

nick smiled and kissed her forehead lightly, really? he said softly.

She nodded. It will get me out of the house, give me something to do again, and I really miss it. She told him.

nick nodded with a smile, you should then. if its what you really want. not to mention you are pretty damn good at it too.

Lici grinned and leaned up to kiss him softly. Thanks Nick.

nick grinned at her, no problem. i only speak the truth. he chuckled.

Lici grinned and rested her head on his shoulder again.

nick smiled contentedly as he sat there with her. after a couple moments a small jingle souned in his mind. ignoring you... he thought as his eyes went to the ceiling that was blocking the sky as a house should do. after a couple minutes the jingle became more and more frequent. Ignoring you... he thought again and again as the jingle started to get louder.

Lici looked up at Nick as he seemed to become more and more agitated. You should go. She told him.

nick sighed, i know...i just don't get why they always want to see me at times when i really don't want to move...they're just gonna have me doing stuff for them...lazy gits... he muttered under his breath with a small frown.

Lici sighed and stood up, pulling him up with her. Come on, you have to go.

nick groaned as he stood up with her, fine...but if i'm not back in 10 minutes do a missing person's ad for me... he said jokingly before orbing out.

Lici sighed slightly and went into the kitchen, trying to decide what to make for dinner that night.

nick orbed back in an hour later with tired sigh before muttering under his breath about elders and how they would be better off being known as slave runners. at the smell of food cooking however his face perked up and he walked into the kitchen with a smile.

Lici looked up at him when he walked in. Good thing I didn't post the missing persons ad yet. She said, holding up a piece of paper with his photo and information on it with a teasing grin.

nick grinned at her with a small shake of his head, yeah i guess it is. he chuckled before kissing her cheek lightly. something smells good... he added.

Beef stir fry. I couldn't be bothered making anything else. She explained to him.

nick grinned at her, why not? he asked curiously as he wrapped his arms around her from behind and rested his chin on the top of her head.

She shrugged. Because its easy, and I can make just enough for the two of us without having to worry about wasting ingredients. I've still been making too much food lately, it's gonna take me awhile to get used to the fact that its just the two of us. She explained to him.

nick nodded in understanding, true, but hten again by teh time you're used to cooking for just two people the kids will be home for one of their holidays... he grinned.
