Title: Not Another Full Moon...
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 04:08 AM (GMT)
Shawn stood outside of the ruined castle in the forest. It was dusk. He gazed up to the sky and sighed. He had just finished putting on the last of the wards, keeping him inside the ruin's dungeon. He had placed 4 deer that he had caught, and skinned. His wards were near impregnable. However, there was one flaw, if anyone got down to the dungeons they can get in, but he cannot get out. He placed them there for his safety, and the safety of anyone who came down there. Incase someone stumbled in, they can run away, if they were fast enough. And luckily, he had left little room for even himself to move.
He sighed as he walked back down into the ruins. Down three flights of stairs, and then a trap door. Down three more flights of stairs and a long hallway he went. At the very end of the hall way was a circular room, without a door. He had strung up lights, along the hallway, and a large spotlight highlighting the outline of the circle he made for the wards to keep him in. He cracked his neck, and stepped into the circle.
Near the outside of the circle, but still in it, lay the three deer remains. The circle would close as soon as he changed into his most primal state. He sighed once more and sat down, twiddling his thumbs.
Now, we play the waiting game....
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 04:19 AM (GMT)
Walking cautiously, she watched her steps, memorizing them. There was a good chance that she would need to know how to get out of this area, depending on how the night went. She knew that she shouldn't be here... her heart thudded with anticipation, anxiousness, and fear. She had dealt with him in this form before, but he would most likely be angry with her for coming. He was clear about her not coming, he was nice when he said it, but he made it a point.
Pulling her hood over her head, she glanced up at the sky. It was not quite dark enough yet, there was still time to prepare... though she had been preparing the entire month, marking the days on her calendar until this night. A gust of wind touched the trees above her, blocking her view of the sky.
Sighing, she removed her robe and folded it neatly. Hanging her robe from a nearby tree, she bent down to pull her skirt up slightly, revealing a harness on her thigh. She placed her wand in it carefully and tightened it, so that it would not come loose during her transformation.
She walked a few more feet and peered over the bushes before her, her eyes landing on the ruins. She sat down on a rock behind the bush and waited...
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 04:35 AM (GMT)
Shawn finished the final preparations. He stripped himself down to nothing but his boxers, and he threw his clothes into a backpack. He threw the backpack out of the circle, and sat down. "Oo Oo Oo COLD!" he yelled on instinct as he stood back up. He had set up a clock on the wall, and he knew that at 8 o'clock he would transform, at that certain point when the moon is bright and there was no more sun. It was 7:50. He sighed. The longest part of this is the last ten minutes... he muttered. The minutes dragged by slowly. Soon enough he felt that familiar weird sensation in his stomach. It was 7:59. "Now we bring on the.. PAIN!" Shawn screamed as he seized on the floor. He started the changed with his abdomin. It began to elongate. Every second was painful, every moment dragged out. He felt everything.
Only a minute rolled by, and Shawn was not... well Shawn anymore. In his place was a giant Cat demon. He looked like a cross between a giant lion, and a wolf. It was white, the color of snow, with huge ears, and huge eyes. It's mouth was that of a giant wolf's, long and with jagged sharp teeth. His eyes, his eyes were differen't. They weren't the normal blue eyes with yellow around the pupils anymore.. now, the colors have reversed. His eyes were feline, and primal. Devoid of love, and thought, now all there was was carnage, and pain, and instinct.
The cat let out a giant, beastial hybrid of a howl, and a roar, as it smashed against the circle ward.
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 04:42 AM (GMT)
Glancing up, hearing an ear-piercing scream, followed by a deep animalistic growl, she immediately felt the familiar burning sensation. Here we go... she thought. She blinked once, and in that instant, she was transformed into her Animagi form- a panther. Once becoming used to her newer and more defined senses once again, she set off towards the ruins, hesitating outside of the opening.
She knew what awaited her beyond those stairs, but was she ready to face this? Of course she was. She had always been willing to throw herself into this before, why was she hesitating now? Her green, feline eyes glanced behind her, checking to see if there were any more followers. Of course there won't be... he told nobody to come. Everyone else listened... why do I have to be so stubborn? Why can't I just honor his decision... she thought.
Something wasn't right, however. She had a feeling, deep in the pit of her stomach. Something would go wrong tonight, she just wasn't sure what. That was why she came, to prevent whatever it was from happening. Checking to see if her wand was still attached to her right hind leg, she began slowly down the stairs, stepping gracefully, as only a cat could manage to do.
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 05:03 AM (GMT)
Shawn saw everything from a third person point of view. More and more recently he's been able to remember what had happened when he turned into his primal state, but there was a time where he couldnt remember a thing. At one point he thought it was a sign that he was finally learning how to control it, but it just pushed his logical part of him mind out further and further, now it wasn't even in his body. Things were going way to well for his tastes. His scenses were already heightened in his normal, half-human form. Now it was at an almost insanely level.
No... No... No... She can't be here...
The cat flashed it's teeth as it's head flashed to the entrance of the room. It sniffed twice into the air, and it's ears twitched. Drool escaped from between the jagged teeth as the enormous Cat Demon made what it could of a smile. It's eyes had a light red aura to it now. "HuUuUmMmAaAaNnNn!!!" Growled a low, menacing voiced. A terrible voice. A dangerous voice.
BRITTANY GET OUT! STAY OUT! STAY AWAY!... God, she can't hear me... Damn this curse, Damn this fucking body. She didn't stay away... Why in God's holy fucking earth did she not stay away...
"FiNaLlY... FOOD!"
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 05:13 AM (GMT)
It felt as if her stomach dropped. So much for laying back... she thought. It knew that she was here- HE knew that she was here. She already knew, without even being able to hear him that he was mad at her. She would have to face him sooner or later. She would have to enter the dungeon, rather than have him find her. That would mean that he would be loose. What would stop him from going all the way to Hogwarts? Nothing. He's unstoppable at this point... she thought, discouragingly. She could at least slow him down before he finished her off. He was at his most dangerous state right now.
Feeling the hair raise on her jet black coat, she began growling slightly, emitting a deep, low snarl from well beneath her chest. She would not go down without a fight. She knew she had no chance of actually beating him- but she would not be a rag doll. The aggression was electric in the air, causing her hair to raise even more.
Walking down the few remaining steps, she approached the large door, separating her from the monster. She closed her eyes before nudging it open with her head.
I'm sorry, Shawn... I did what I thought was right... I love you...
Once opening the door, she found herself in a long hallway. She sniffed for a moment, then stared directly ahead. Straight ahead, beyond the hallway, she saw it. It was larger than she had remembered, and much more terrifying. She smirked slightly, a cat like grin coming across her face. She would not let this beast know her fear. She crouched low to the ground and moved towards him slowly.
Sirius_Black - April 1, 2009 05:18 AM (GMT)
The young Headmaster was up in his usual tree branch, high above the entrance to the Forbidden Forest. He was standing tall, his silver, with green and black markings, robe seem to give off a small glow in the moonlight, as it swayed in the wind. Eyes diverted to the night sky, he patiently awaited the return of his feathery companion.
"Hopefully the normal students will take to sleeping in tonight, instead of out adventuring..."
He muttered to himself, as he let out a small sigh. He continued to watch for adventurous students, digging his hands into his pocket.
"Full moons, as beautiful as they are, shine like mirrors for the soul. Not everyone is as humaine as they lead people to believe."
He continued to mutter, recalling the members of the school who change with the moonlight. Half-vampires.... lycons... skin walkers.... half-demons...
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 05:41 AM (GMT)
"I SmElL YoU HuMaN!!!" The low growl of a voice came from a the end of the hallway. The giant cat tried to jump at Brittany before she came down the hallway, but hit the ward with a thump. "CoMe ClOsEr HuMaN!!!" it said, a cat/wolf grin appearing on its face. It flashed it's ivory white, jagged teeth, the drool dripping to the floor. It paced around the circle, awaiting Brittany to come closer.
God no.. Brittany get away!!! BRITTANY LEAVE! Shawn screamed, but only the Cat demon could hear him.
ShE CaN't HeAr YoU ShAwN! YoU'rE AlL AlOnE!!
NO! BRITTANY!!
The cat demon kept pacing, slowly at first, but speeding up. "C'mOn HuMaN! I'm GeTtInG aNxIoUsSs!!!"
It let out a growl, and it's eyes gave out a deep ruby aura, it's power rising with withs anticipation, and hunger. The deer weren't enough now. It wanted human blood...
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 05:56 AM (GMT)
She approached a few steps farther, but still remained out of reach. At least he took some steps to keep himself contained... perhaps I could have avoided this situation all together... she thought, pacing, her tail swishing back and forth lightly. She snarled. No... I'm here for a reason... something is not right, and I can feel it... maybe if I morph into my human form, Shawn will be able to hear me... perhaps he has more control than he thinks...
She stared at the enormous beast for a long moment, weighing her choices. She observed her surroundings and wrinkled her nose at the deer carcasses. Better them than me, I suppose... she thought.
She stared into the demon's eyes, searching for any trace of Shawn. Its eyes were a ruby red- not Shawn's kind yellow/blue. She searched for any trace of humanity left in the beast, but could not find any. He was truly lost, for the moment. He posed no threat at this time due to his binds, however. She began to think.
Right now, he has himself chained. If I morph back and try to talk some sense into him, and he managed to break out, I would have at least five seconds to morph back and run... that wouldn't be so difficult in my animal form... I'm fast as I am now. Then again, I'd have my wand as well. A stun wouldn't stop him indefinitely, but it'd certainly slow him down...
Her thoughts raced, and before she could argue with herself anymore, she decided. Quicker than she'd ever transformed, she morphed back into her human form, speaking as she did so.
"Shawn- if you're in there, you have to listen to me. I think that you are in danger. I have a feeling, I don't know if you can hear me. It's me, Shawn. Brittany. If there's any way that you can hear me, you have to know that I am here for you and for you only- please, do not attack me-"
She pulled her wand out of her harness quickly, taking a quick note of how many arrows she kept in her satchel she wore almost constantly on her back.
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 06:08 AM (GMT)
"ShAwN IsN't HeRe At ThE MoMeNt... PlEaSe LeAvE a MeSsAgE AfTeR ThE BeEp..." The cat demon laughed menacingly, and loud. "YoU'd ThInK YoU WeRe SaFe RiGhT NoW WoUlDn'T YoU..." It added, with a loud cackle. It stared Brittany down with one of it's huge yellow eyes, pulsing with red energy. It grinned, another drop of saliva dripping to the floor.
I'm too powerful... I... She can't contain me if I break free, even with that little of energy left in me, if I break free She's dead... Shawn thought as he looked at the situation from above. I...won't...let...that...
"HAPPEN!" Shawn's voice exploded from the cat demon's mouth. It's eyes quickly reverted back to the same color of Shawn's original eyes. "Brittany... Get out! I can't control it anymore... AHHHHH..." Shawn's scream was of pure agony. He was trying with all his might to keep control. It wasn't working.
Oh C'mOn ShAwN... YoU CaNnOt FiGhT ThE PoWeR... It'S AMAZING!
I'm fighting it now... He thought, the whole conversation in his head. Quickly his senses got the better of him. Another presense in the castle? Familiar scent... No name to place the scent... The power, he could feel the power of the other person in the castle... It was... as powerful as his own, if not greater.
"Brittany... You need to...StAy PuT DaRlInG LiTtLe GiRl..."
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 06:18 AM (GMT)
Brittany's mouth opened, obviously stunned from this power-struggle. Never had Shawn been able to control his motions while in this form, let alone speak from it. This was a new level he had never reached, and it took focus- she was mystified. A tear formed in her eye, as these two beings waged war with one another, within one powerful infrastructure.
"Sh-Shawn, I can't believe it's you- I know you want me to go, but I can't explain it! I can't leave!"
Suddenly, she heard a noise behind her. Without hesitating, she transformed back into her panther form and her senses heightened. Something was indeed coming, she looked back to the beast. Shawn, whatever I think might be coming- well, it's coming... I don't now what it is. I don't know how to explain it to you any more...
She stopped, her mind whirling- a truly dizzying effect. If someone is coming, I need to be prepared. I need to take action first... first strike takes the upperhand. She switched back once more, glancing at the demon worriedly. She watched the wards, praying for a miracle that they did not break. She quickly ran to the side of the room, out of site from the hallway.
The only thing visible from that hallway, she remembered, is Shawn. I can have the element of surprise.
Running to the side of the room, she quickly reached behind her back, drawing an arrow on her bow that she also kept within her satchel. She waited, steadying her breath, her eyes glancing from the demon to the doorway. Her heart hammered in her chest.
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 06:32 AM (GMT)
"YoOoOoUuUuU!!!" The demon growled, quizzically. He could smell it, but the face didn't come to Shawn. The scent. So familiar, yet so distant... The footsteps, it grew louder as the figure stepped off the steps and onto the pathway. He wore all Black. A black dress shirt, dress pants, jacket, shoes, and tie. All equally black. His hair was pure whiter, straight down, and parted on the sider. He held his head down, his hair covering his face. His arms were crossed behind him, in a leisurely manner, as his footsteps grew louder and louder, and they echoed longer and longer as the minutes rolled on. Finally Shawn put a face to the scent. And with that, a name.
No.. No no no no no... He's; he's dead, he's dead. No...
"NOOO!!!" Shawn's voice erupted once again from his mouth, he ran full force at the warding holding him in. He was hitting it, trying to get to the man just out in the hallway with all of his might.
GiVe In ShAwN... GoOd... LeT ThE AnGeR CoNtRoL YoU...
Shawn banged hard and hard, trying to get out. He scratched, and bit at the wards, but they wouldn't budge. A cold, soft cackle emitted from the man. It sounded like death itself, creaping back into the daylight, trying to take back what was rightfully his... The shadows.
"Dear dear, Aren't you happy to see me?" Said the man. The voice, more familiar now, than ever. Shawn growled, and howled, and tried to beat his way to the man.
"Dear, I don't even get a pleasant 'welcome back', Brother?"
"SHIKA YOU BASTARD!" Shawn screamed as he beat harder and harder against the wards.
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 06:39 AM (GMT)
Brittany's mouth dropped, her arrow dropping slowly, though not entirely relaxed. It was as if she had stepped into a dream- her dream. He was in the same position that she had imagined him in, his arms crossed behind his back. How can this be? Shawn said that he was dead! She watched the demon's anger grow increasingly- which she did not believe possible before this moment. This was anger she had never seen before, raw- uncontrollable - it was scary.
She watched as the demon smashed into the ward. What will happen if he breaks free? He can't... nothing would stop him if he did... .
She raised her arrow straight, staring at him, narrowing her eyes. She aimed at Shika, aiming straight for his heart, or where his heart would have been if he had one. This man was a monster, and she did not intend on letting him hurt Shawn in this state.
"You there- stop. Do not move. I swear to God, I will kill you right now!"
Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 06:38 PM (GMT)
"Ah, Brittany. Nice to see you as well." Shika's cold, calm voice spoke as he lifted his head and gave a smile. His wardrobe contrasted his skin tone drastically. His skin was as white as his hair, and his black clothes made it seem that it was even more pale. Almost deathly pale. "Well now that we have everyone here, and Shawn is subdue'd for the time being, we can... 'chat'" He spoke again. If Shawn could feel anything, he would definately feel the chills run down his spine as his 'dead' brother spoke to them.
"BRITT GET OUT!" Shawn screamed as he painfully smashed against the barrier. It's powers were waning, and the only reason he could control himself now was because Shika was there.
Shika smirked and chuckled, as he walked around the perimeter of the circle, and closer to Brittany. "Come, let us talk. I believe I have something of yours..." He said, his voice like death, as he reached into his jacket pocket. He pulled out a necklace, Pearls with a silver pendant on it. He chuckled as he moved closer to Brittany, staring her down, even with the arrow notched and drawn, aimed straight at his heart.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU SHIKA!"
Once again shawn bounced off the barrier, but it was getting weaker, and weaker with each crunching blow...
Chocolat64 - April 1, 2009 06:56 PM (GMT)
Her eyes widened, watching Shika approach her. Her eyes landed on the necklace, an immediate feeling of de ja vu coming over her. She shook her head, blinking, trying to get the image out of her head. I have to be dreaming... she thought. She continued to point the arrow at him, watching Shawn out of the corner of her eye. The barriers would break at any time, she could see them giving.
She continued staring at him, swallowing hard. He knew I'd come, he trapped us, and I just let it happen...
"Stop right there. I swear to God, Shika. Shawn might not have succeeded in killing you, but I will." she said, menacingly. She drew her arrow tighter.
Shawn Black - April 2, 2009 01:43 AM (GMT)
Shika chuckled, as he moved closer and closer towards Brittany. "Ah yes, good thing I did, right? Pretty clever I'd say, bringing you both here, and I didn't even need to keep Shawn chained, while I had a go at you, He did it himself..." Shika said, smirking. He chuckled, maniacly, as he closed the gap between himself and Brittany. "Go ahead, little girl. Shoot me with your petty human arrows." He chuckled yet again, the smirk growing on his face.
"YOU FUCKING STAY AWAY FROM HER!!" Shawn screamed as the circle began to crack. He smashed into it over and over again, paws scratching, teeth snapping, trying to get out to devour his brother.
YeS ShAwN... FeEl ThE AnGeR. LeT It CoNtRoL YoUr MoTiOns, YoUr ThOuGhTs... LeT ThE PoWeR FlOw ThRoUgH YoU... UnLeAsH It...
Shawn let out a painful scream as he smashed into the wards yet again. And again. It pained him everytime, but he could barely feel it anymore. The adrenaline, the anger, it was taking ahold of him. Forcing his hand. He didn't know how strong Shika was now, and he just wouldn't die! But he didn't really care at this moment. He'd kill him, if it took all of his power, and if it even took his life. But he can't, he won't risk anyone elses lives for his 'foolish' crusade..
[We're fuck'n beasts right now, :P]
Chocolat64 - April 2, 2009 02:38 AM (GMT)
[OOC: omfg, I know! ^_^]
Brittany stared at him, her heart beating faster- which she didn't think was possible. She thought that it was going to burst from her chest. She watched Shawn struggle against his binds and looked back to Shika. He's too strong for me... but maybe not for Shawn... she thought. She looked back to Shika quickly, staring him straight in his cold, distant eyes. There was no hope of persuading him otherwise... she knew this. There was no hope of changing the outcome of what would happen tonight.
This was her bad feeling. This is why she came tonight. She continued to look at him, swallowing hard. She then shifted her aim from Shika to one of the essential wards holding Shawn back.
"If you attempt anything, I will free him. Think you can handle a full cat demon, Shika? I wouldn't try my luck. I'll be damned if I let you do this." she said, smartly. She drew her arrow back and raised an eyebrow in challenge, smirking slightly.
Shawn Black - April 2, 2009 02:58 AM (GMT)
"Do you honestly think that a cat out of it's cage is going to scare me? Go ahead, Brittany, break the ward. It's going to break soon anyway, so it shouldn't be very hard..." Shika said smirking. He cracked his neck and stepped to the side. He took his jacket off and his shirt and tie. Underneath were an almost inhumanly perfectly sculpted body. However, it would have been attractive if not for the deathly pale skin tone. He had tattoos running down his stomach and his arms, tribal, all of them. He smirked and extended his arms out to his sides.
"BRITTANY!!! DAMMIT, HE'S MY BROTHER! BLOOD! YOU NEED TO..." Shawn screamed as he smashed against the wards keeping him closed in. "BRITT. I CAN'T CONTROL MY BODY ANYMORE!" he screamed as he smashed into the wards again, the crack beginning to widen, to grow.
"Go ahead Brittany, I dare you. Honestly you didn't understand Shawn when he said I'm his brother, did you?" Shika smirked, as he spoke those words. He tilted his head towards the heavens, and let out a beastial roar. He fell to the ground, writing in agony, with a wicked smile on his face. A minute went by and where shika was, now stood an enormous cross between a giant panther and a sabre tooth. More feline than Shawn was, and it's fur was pitch black. It's eyes were the same as Shika's normal color, but a green aura escaped from it. It had two long, jagged fangs outside of its mouth, with rows of jaggedly sharp teeth inside it. It's ears were shorter than Shawns, yet it's body was the same size.
"You forget, I'm a cat demon as well, foolish girl.." Shika gave a feline smirk, and growled.
Chocolat64 - April 2, 2009 03:05 AM (GMT)
She had not seen this coming whatsoever. She was completely shocked at what she was seeing. Not one, but two full grown cat demon's before her, one of which wanted to kill her, the other unable to keep itself from attacking whatever came in its path. Judging from the distance she stood and where Shika, or what had once been Shika was, Shawn would get to Shika first. This would give her the opportunity to find a good spot to arch from, as well as cast spells if she had to. She figured she'd try her luck in her animagus form first, once she let Shawn free.
Whether you know it or not, Shawn- we're going to be working together. If you hurt me in the process, it'll be okay- it's for the better cause... she thought, gritting her teeth.
It all happened quickly. With a lightening fast snap of her wrist, the arrow was shot directly towards the ward containing Shawn, an essential- yet also obviously loosened ward, releasing its bind. She quickly drew another and shot it towards the other, simultaneously transforming into her panther, and also feline form.
Here we go... she thought.
Shawn Black - April 2, 2009 03:29 AM (GMT)
Shawn gave a deafening roar as he bound out of the circle, straight at Shika. Shika, on the otherhand just turned and gave his feline smirk. They met in a fury of might, scratching, roaring, biting, moving faster than the eye could tell. They moved like blurs, all one could do was hear and try to figure out what was going on.
Shika was laughing all the while "Is that all you've got Shawny?" he said, time and time again, as they exchanged blows. It was clear after awhile that neither would tire before the other was dead. Shawn was running on pure adrenaline, while Shika was calm and collected.
Their dance was that of pure skill, and strength. The Yin and Yang. Opposites, both in appearance, and in mind. The used to balance each other out. Shawn was always the hot-headed one, while Shika was always the smart, precise one. Or so Shika thought. Shawn had new tricks up his sleeve...
"You think that this is all I have to offer?" Shawn growled as they stood, facing eachother down after about an hour of fight. "Honestly, your spies haven't done their work well then.." He added, a smirk forming.
Now Shawn, we can work together. Anger and Emotion, equal'd out by all that is you. We are one and the same, Shawn. The evil and the good. You must know now that, in order to truly succeed, one must throw down himself into the darkest reaches, and become something truly great, something all powerful. You have what Shika doesn't. A conscience, but now, you must combine the good conscience with the evil one inside of you... Feel the power, grow upon it, tap into it. I can help you. We can win. You have to trust me...
I don't understand it. If we beat Shika, all I'll be is exhausted and you'll take over, and kill brittany...
If we don't beat him, she's dead anyway Shawn. The night is almost over, The hours are waning. Only 4 more hours until you change back...
"Now... You... DIE!" Shawn screamed as he fed on the power of the full moon. His aura grew brilliantly, it spread from his eyes, to his whole body. It wasn't red anymore however, it was blue. A shining, brilliant blue, and it grew, and grew and grew, almost to unimaginable power.
Shika's smirk faded. He had no idea what was happening. He had complete control over his demonic form. He was pure demon. But Shawn, Shawn was only part demon.
"There is NO way I'll let a Half-demon like you beat me!" Shika screamed, as the collided again, into an even more deadly dance of brute power, and skill. Perfectly executed on both sides...
Chocolat64 - April 2, 2009 03:38 AM (GMT)
Brittany watched in both horror and amazement at the procession before her. This type of fighting was new, it was as if it were choreographed, each shot playing off of the other. It seemed like neither of them were making any progress on one another, it seemed like their blows were not affecting either of them. They were fighting to the death, and she knew this. No- I can't let Shawn fight alone...
However, just as she thought this, a bright blue aura exploded from Shawn- she had to close her eyes- it was so stunning. He had tapped into what seemed to be a hidden power, a power he had never known, an unimaginable power. She was shocked. She morphed back to her human form and ran to the corner once again, pulling her arrows out once more, shooting them expertly at Shika, though they appeared to only bounce off of him. She began mumbling incantations, moving her wand in various directions, expertly shouting curses at Shika. She did not know if this was helping or not, she hoped it was.
The night has to be nearing to an end... it has to! she thought, wondering if she should make an escape out of the dungeon and out into the fresh air. They seem occupied, but- I can't leave Shawn alone, I just can't!. She didn't know what time it was, or how dark it was still, or how brightly the moon still shown, but she yearned to know this information.
Shawn Black - April 3, 2009 07:14 PM (GMT)
Shawn growled as the tides were turning. Blood was flowing from everywhere, on himself, and on Shika. The battle was waging for hours on end. He roared, as he crashed into Shika one more time, dodging and weaving to get an even hit on Shika. Shika was slowing, it only took a good slash to his hind leg before he could barely move anymore.
"I'm going to end this, Shika, and I'm going to make sure you're dead..." Shawn said, with a grimace on his face. He stared down Shika, when a smirk grew on Shika's face. "What're you laughing at!?!?!" Shawn screamed at him, as Shika burst into a maniacal laughter.
"Hah. I'm sorry, Shawn, but I'm afraid I'll have to prolong that." Shika said, as he transformed back into his normal self, he was bleeding badly, and hurt pretty bad, but it definately didn't show when he stood there. He walked over and put his discarded clothes back on, and smirked. "Good morning, Shawn..." He added, smirking, pulling out a wand and smashing a hole in the roof, and ground, to let a ray of light come in.
"NO!" Shawn screamed as he began to transform back. After a minute he lay on the ground. unconcious, bleeding badly.
"Tend to him, little brittany, But remember this, I'll be back, and I'll be stronger. And you better believe that I'll be back... And I'll bring hell with me..." Shika said, his voice trailing off as he disappeared in a flash. Just gone.
Shawn lay on the floor, bleeding out.
Chocolat64 - April 4, 2009 07:17 PM (GMT)
Brittany gasped and ran over to Shawn. How could I have thought about leaving him... she thought, completely disgusted with herself. She whipped out her wand and immediately began muttering incantations, healing random scratches- the deep gash would be more of an issue. She knew basic healing charms, but nothing that in depth. She felt her eyes water with tears, staring at him.
"Shawn- are you okay? I'm so sorry that this happened, I could have prevented this. I could have told you not to come here... I should have told you to pick another place- Shika wouldn't have known where you were, you wouldn't be hurt right now- I'm so sorry!" She began to hiccup. She got that way when she was particularly upset.
"If you want, I can take you to the hospital wing right now- I can try to heal it myself, but I don't know if I'll be as effective as Madam Pompfrey."

"Don't beat yourself up over me... I'll live..." He said, coughing. "I need a smoke...." He muttered, chuckling to himself. He got up slowly, grimacing with every movement. After a bit he stood up and stretched his arm out towards his clothes. "Damn... I'm like half naked here, Britt, don't look!" He joked, as his clothes whizzed into his hands. He put them on slowly, but he kept his shirt off. He ripped long shreds of the shirt and wrapped it around the bad gash that ran along his side and stomach, and chest, and tied it off.
"I loved that shirt..." Shawn joked, frowning. He picked his duster up and put it on. He cracked his neck, and gave britt a quizzical look. "I kicked his ass..." He muttered, cackling. "And Madam Pomfrey is going to start hating me again, I oddly regret bursting in to check on you before..." He said with a grimace. His wounds hurt, and hurt bad. But it only showed barely, and he didnt have Merlin to walk with.
"Let's get moving out of here, and I don't care whatever you say, you're not carrying me on a magical stretcher, if shit happens on our way out, You're going back to the castle without me, and that's that. And please just stay away from the centaurs, but they shouldn't bother us when I'm around.." Shawn said smirking, as he rolled his shoulders and he started to limp out of the room. He walked a few feet before he pulled out his want and made a flick with it, and suddenly it became a cane.
"Forgot, I sprained my ankle..."
Shawn laughed loudly as he continued to walk out of the dungeons and into the forbidden forest...

Frowning, yet without saying anything, she followed him, her head down. Luckily, she had not been hurt whatsoever. In fact, it would have probably been better if she had just not come at all. Shawn could handle himself, what was she thinking? Why did she think that she had to be there to prevent something from happening, when she could do nothing to fix it in the first place. Foolishness...
Watching him limp ahead of her, she put her hand in front of her face and whistled shrilly- a high tune. A few moments later her owl, Gracie, flew to her. She quickly scribbled a note onto a piece of parchment warning Madam Pompfrey that they would be arriving in the Hospital Wing momentarily. She tied the parchment onto the owl's right leg, still walking and sent it off.
She sighed deeply and continued walking behind him.
