Just beyond this bathroom lies one of Hogwart's most hidden, and thought to be mythic areas. The Chamber of Secrets...

"Out of my mind out of my mind.... I was walking walking with a ghost I say--" Vipera sang softly, taking a drag from her cigarette, before crossing her high heeled legs, tapping her foot to the music that blared in her headphones. Myrtle always cried so much- Vipera always felt the need to bring music- so she didn't have to listen to the blubbering girl.

The music blared as Vipera continued to drag, blowing cute smoke rings in the air. Cancer never looked so good. She thought, pursing ruby red lips as she hummed.

"Hey Vipra what are you doing down here?"Pete said coming out from behind a snake statue

Vipera smiled and nodded to Pete.
"What's it look like I'm doing dear- I'm smoking-" She blew another smoke ring and arched an eyebrow at him, uncrossing her legs to step upon the ground- black heels clicking as she moved over to him.
"What are you doing in a girl's bathroom? Not down in the Chamber are you Pete?" she teased, smirking.

"Well on a current basis i dont know any other way of getting in or out of the chamber which i need to get into"He said smiling "Do you per chance have an extra?"

Vipera flashed him a white smile. Nice.
"Of course I do," she said. Vipera pulled a cigarette out of her pocket and held it out to him. "It's nice to meet a fellow who is a chain-smoker as well- or at least a guy who isn't such a damn pansy." She pulled out her wand.
"Want me to light it for you?" she asked, grinning. "The hufflepuffs have been making me nauseous lately."

"No thanks iv got a lighter"Pete said lighting the cigarette"I normally carry my own but George hid them on me prolly torched them actually"

She laughed. "George?" she asked, taking a drag of her cigarette. "Who's George huh? And why'd he torch your cigs?' she asked curiously, still blowing circles in the sky. She sighed and leaned against the sink and ran one finger through her hair.

"George is my best friend but he doesnt approve of my smoking hence the torching.Needless to say hes a filthy"Pete replied

She laughed. 'Aww, well- I'm sorry. Any time you need one, find me- I'll feed your awful habit." she smiled. "Anyways- how'd you come to learn about the chamber. Pureblood myth perhaps? I've never been down there. If the basilisk is dead it's no more fun." she said with a laugh, "But it's a nice bathroom with Myrtle here cuz a lot of girls don't come here."

"My employer is sending me down there to get some green gem as long as i can get the password right"Pete said blowing a couple of smokerings

"Password? To get into the Chamber?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. 'And employer? Sounds fun- ever try to get anything from the forest?" she asked. Vipera smirked.

"Get something from the forest?No i cant say that i have and yes i have a very wealthy employer who hires me from time to time to do things for him"

"Sounds fun- and sweet" she said with a smile, nodding as she examined the cigarette between her fingers. She sighed.

"I dont know about fun but he pays well which is good for me considering i dont get anything from my parents"Pete throwing his cigarette onto the floor and crushing it with his foot

"What's with your parents?" Vipera asked, curiously. yeah- she shouldn't have asked that, but she was a Slytherin- and so was he- she was sure he'd understand her overt curiosity.

"And yeah- it sounds fun. I like adventures actually- big into the forest and the Chamber was fun just after the Basilisk died- I went down there to check it out but it smelled so bad I had to retreat. They've cleaned it all out now, but it still is fun to lurk or lead little first years down there and scare the shits out of them" she smiled and flicked her cigarette, ash falling into the sink.

"Parents huh well my parents managed to give birth to two perfect children before i came along so basically im a bit of a disgrace to the rest of the family.id tell you you should meet them but theyd probably have you thrown out of the house"said Pete who always like to talk about himself and didnt mind the question in the slightest

"Hah.. yeah, well, I wouldn't know- only child here I think- who knows. Anyways, I'm sorry they don't appreciate your imperfection. I personally find perfect people boring- and really- no ones perfect. Everyone's got at least one dirty little secret...." she mused.

"Well no one minds me except my parents....Oh and there friends....And some of the people at the ministry"

"Hmmm yeah that happens" Vipera said with a shrug, tossing her cigarette onto the floor and stamping it out with her heel, sighing a little.

"Board?"

"Yeah... pretty much" she replied.

"Cmon we can head down to the chamber like i said i have to find something down there and who know you may of some use"Pete said chuckling a little to himself

"Alright," Vipera said, perking up as he suggested it. "You speak Parseltongue Pete?" she asked, moving towards the sink with the etching on the tab, a snake...

She looked over to him. She knew she could- it was a rare gift, but she always wondered how many other Slytherins could. Besides- she wouldn't be a Riddle if she didn't speak Parseltongue.

"Cant say i do id o know someone who can though if thats how you get in"

"You haven't done your research... every pureblood kid knows the legend now- ever since Harry Potter got in..." he voice trailed off. The name felt so strange on her tongue. She had gone to school with that kid. Man... it sure was weird.
But either way, Pete was looking to her for answer ans she simply smiled and hissed, the words saying nothing to the human ear.

Yes I can.

She moved towards the sink and gestured towards the handle with the snake.

Open.... she whispered to it, the sink cracking and moving out of the way until their was a big sewer pipe (big enough for someone to slide down) to behold.

"Ok im impressed at least i dont have to break the whole bathroom now.Shall we then?"Pete said before he jumped down the hole

Vipera frowned and laughed as she jumped down the tunnel.
"Yes we shall." Was he really going to wreck the whole bathroom? That was a little funny. She shouldn't have helped him- watching him wreck the bathroom for an entrance would have been funny. They slid down the slimy tube until they landed on soft ground beneath.
"Lumos"

Pete was waiting in front of a large door when Vipra walked up[COLOR=gray]"Well id assume that this one opens in the same way so the real question is are you can work your magic again or do i have to find a way to break down the door?"Pete asked inquiringly

"Not so much a magic, more like an aquired talent." she shrugged. "It might open though I'm sure we'll come to something that we will have to break. I wonder if the Basilisk ever laid eggs?" she inquired curiously as she approached the large doors.

Open....

"Well if it did we can find them too after i find that green gem"Pete said leading the way through the door

"Do you know how much a basilisk egg would be worth on the black wizarding market. "It'd be insane. Alright so where is this gem huh? Your employer give you any hints?" she asked, looking around as they walked, examining the architecture of the chamber.[/color]

"My employer doesnt know where it is which is why hes paying me to find it and iff you help me ill split the take with you sound good?

"Sounds simply wonderful" she said with a brilliant smile as she began to search for the gem. 'Could you summon it or is it fixed in here- on a statue or a door?" she asked.

"To stifle your curiosity ill tell all i know its a green gem perfectly round like a large marble most likely somewhere in this chamber possibly on a statue maybe implanted in the floor definitely in full view.As for summoning it wouldnt work as its a very powerful magical artifact considering thats all my employer cares for.So basically i dont have much to go on considering the amount of green gems in here...but i do have this"Pete said pulling a large round red gem out of his pocket

Katrine searched every sink in the bathroom her fingers tracing the pipes, they said there was a small snake on the one that marked the entrance. Finally she found it, she ran her fingers across the cold metal as she tried to get the password right. Hissing sounds issued from her mouth as she tried every combination she could think of, finally the sink moved aside showing the entry way to a secret passage, to the Chamber of Secrets. She illuminated her wand and slid down the pipe ignoring the moisture that was seeping into her robes, her eyes twinkling with the thought of an adventure.

Gabrielle had been standing against one of the cubicle wall within the row of toilets. She'd heard someone come into the toilets, but she had tried not to make herself known to the person. It was bad enough as it is to hide in the toilets with tears running down her face as well as having someone listening to her. Though this person seemed to only have one thing in mind and that wasn't a toilet break. As Gabrielle heard the person speak, she tightened her lips wiping the moisture away from her eyes. She listened to the person and every time she heard another word leave the person's lips she got more and more confused. Pulling on the door, she quitely moved out of the door to see the girl jump into a large hole where the sinks were. Of course her first response was to get the hell out of the tiolets, but then her shock sort of compelled her to see where the girl had gone. Drawing closer to the dark hole, Gabrielle stared down attempting to force herself to jump. One, two, three. But she couldn't. It was only when the hole started to close that she jumped quickly into the hole.

Katrine raised her wand trying to make out the large room around her, but it was so large she could barely make out where she was. The Darkness surrounded her and she shivered slightly in spite of herself. She turned trying to figure out where to go to find the chamber where the giant snake used to live. As she turned her light caught a shape making her almost jump out of her skin. She was only just able to repress the scream that formed in her throat at the mysterious shadow. "Who's there?" she asked forcing strength into her voice, not wanting to sound weak around whatever else was down here, for all she knew it could just be something stupid that would never hurt her like a stray dog, that;s right it was just a stray a really big stray she thought

The tunnel felt endless as her body continued to slide down the dirty metal tube. There were tears rolling down her cheeks, but they weren't tears from before, they were tears from her eyes watering so much. But Gabrielle dearn't try to wipe them just in case her body slid too much to one side. It was so dark that she couldn't see anything around her and especially not in front of her. It worried her slightly, because she expected to see the person that had entered the hole before her. Had she made the mistake of flinging herself into danger? At first she had thought the person had been a female, because she was naive to think that males couldn't possibly get into the girls toilets. But as she tried to calm her thoughts, the darkness was making her panic, not nothing who she had followed and what was waiting for her. She was flung into an open space, which could of only been a large room. Her head started to spin, as the impact from the tunnel to the room confused her.I could ask you the same question.Gabrielle uttered, trying to calm her voice. She realised it was definitely a female and the girl was almost as scared as she was. Stepping forward to balance herself, Gabrielle strained her eyes to try to see the other person.

Katrine gripped her wand tighter, she had come down here to get away not to explain herself to a stranger. The voice of the other person rang in her ears, she knew the voice but couldn't pinpoint it. Her hand moved farther above her head alluminating her flaming red hair but no light seemed to fall on the other girl "You could but I have my wand and you are still gasping for breath so it would be in your best interest to answer Katrine explained her voice gaining strength now that she realized that she had the upper hand "so who are you and what are you doing down here?' She took a step closer as she asked curiosity burning inside her. She wanted, no needed to know who this other person was, even if she didn't want them to be there.
