All updates made by the admins and mods will be posted here for everyone to see.



1. Brittany (Chocolat64) and Ricky (Sirius_Black) have been promoted to Admins. Britt will be the Headmistress while Ricky and James (James.Potter) will be Co-Headmasters.

2. BF2 is being shut-down and brought back here. It is currently undergoing movement.

3. Start of term will be announced shortly.

4. Common word filters have been lifted.

5. The Weasley Wizard Wheezes have been cleaned out.

6. The Foreign Language forum (Beauxbatons and Durmstrang) have been modified. There is now a Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and Hebrew forums for everyone to enjoy.

7. All previous mod positions have been cleaned and new ones are currently being appointed. If you'd like to apply for a position, post HERE

Term has officially been started by me and Ultimater.

I've closed Godric's Hollow and opened up all Hogwart related forums.
Common Rooms, Great Hall, Opening Feast, ect.

Added Quidditch Forum area and sub forums for all houses.

And is now awaiting the rest of the Mod Team to show up. :D

+Completely cleaned out the HP Movie/Book/ect Discussion forums and sub-forums, and merged them all into one single forum.

+Did the same for Fanfics Library thing. Simply added them to Category .:A Muggle's Life For Me:.

They were inactive anyway.

+And add a Private Homes section in Godric's Hollow. Advanced members with posts 500 or more may now request a sub-forum for their homes, included with password protection if requested.

I will personally moderate those forums, since it was my idea. :P

Why was my post deleted and completely ignored?

Ah, I'm terribly sorry about that. I was cleaning out this topic, to have only posts concerning updates. It would seem I overlooked your post as a random comment, and again I'm sorry.

Eh. I feel bad. Was it something to do with Godric Hollow?

um yeah, i was just wondering why the Godrics Hollow topics were closed when there are heaps of people that have 'adult' characters.

Same reason Hogwarts forums are closed when terms are off. I understand some members have adult characters, but the board revolves around students at Hogwarts.

During terms, Hogwarts areas are available, and when terms are finish, Godric's Hollow, as well as other areas I will add soon, will be available.

Other members have talked to me about this as well, so in compromise to those members with older characters, I left Hogsmeade open, as well as created a Private Homes system for the more active members.

+Opened up a Dueling Club, as well as a Dueling 'Underground' as was suggested by Shawn before term started.

Both are located in the Great Hall.

Guys! I've finally made contact with one of the original admins of the BF site. His name is Landes and his screen name, if you all remember, is Smushwad. He's willing to help us fix up blackforests.com. He'll be on soon, I had to give him his old email address for the password recovery.

So look for him soon. ;)

Alright. Once we get the main site rolling, we'll need to assign people to work on it (updates and such).

I'm willing to help that part of the site too, but I already have alot of do, and I'm not sure if I'm up for anything else.

Yeah, cuz I've tried putting updates on there but they never worked.

I'll try to help too. But I've just started my summer assignments and I'll be busy more, which really stinks. :(

Works for me, though the The Headmaster Tower itself is a place for suggestions.

That's fine though. Clarification for newer members to navigate. As for governing the website help, it will probally be left open-ended for members to help each other.
