Very little worried Malin Serieux anymore. She had been around the French block many times. Now that she was in the BBA, Mr. Dickinson was watching her at the request of her father, Gavin Serieux. The red headed blader was currently sitting in the empty beystadium, staring at the dish.
"I will win."

Rui sat high above the stadium. Looking down on the blader. Rui was dressed in a pitch black cloak, his face was not visible, but you could see his eyes were glowing green. This meant he was in hyper mode.

"Heh," Rui said. "She should be an easy target."

"THREE, TWO, ONE, GOOOOO SHOOOT!," Rui shouted and the girl looked up, realizing a bey was coming straight for her.

"Suzaku!" Malin yelled, and her own blade leapt up and knocked Rui's blade away. "Who are you and what do you want?"

Rui lept down and said, "You should know I hate the BBA, hell, I've already eliminated Daichi and Max. You will be next!".

He commanded his blade to strike Suzaku, and it did as told. It glew green and rushed at Suzaku flinging it back about 10 feet.

"I don't have time for this," the French lass said, crossing her arms. Her eyes hardened, and Suzaku fought back. "But why me? I'm the newest of the BBA. I haven't made connections yet." The Augury slammed against the opposing blade as hard as Malin could force it. "DARKFIGHTER FLAME!!" The black and purple flames licked around them, but left all but the blade opposite untouched.

"Your, new an easy target," Rui said.

"STORM!" Rui shouted as a thousand lightning bolts came down trapping Suzaku, then three large lightning bolts hit the bitchip. Then Yuraku shot a green bolt at Suzaku, it slowed down considerably, Rui was using Bey Leech.

"Easy! YEAH RIGHT! ASSASIN'S FLAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Green flames ripped at the opposing blade, as well as the surrounding arena.

Kiotzu had been watching since the battle began, he laughed at Malin's techniques. "She wont win, ive seen Rui battle, he is no pushover" Kiotzu said walking out of the building. Should I come out of retirment. He thought as he continued to walk the streets of france. He looked at his watch, "3.30 my plane leaves in an hour"

Suzaku slammed against Rui's blade, kicking it onto its top several rows down. Malin caught her augury and turned to leave. "Eat that."

Yuraku then turned over and started spinning again, using the spin power it leeched.

"Chaos Explosion!" Rui shouted as his hair shot straight up and eyes started glowing green. Yuraku shot out of its bit peice and swallowed Suzaku from Malin's hand and chewed it up, leaving nothing but the bit peice usable. Rui then picked up his blade and left.

ic:Kiotzu got on the plane. He was seated at the back. He put up his hood and took out. DarkDranzer. "...." 3 hours later he landed in Vancouver, Canada. He walked out and saw some kids beyblading in the lobby he launched and crushed the 6 blades in the stadium and by the time they turned around he was gone.

Malin picked up the bit chip. Her green augury settled on her shoulder. "We'll beat him, girl. Don't worry about that." She removed another beyblade from her pocket and set the chip in place. Mr. Serieux had made many identical copies of Malin's blade, but left only one chip....
Malin started crying. Her father was gone. He had had a stroke on the farm and died. She sank onto the step and hugged herself, the fiery emerald wings of her faithful friend wrapping around her in a protective gesture.
I won't let anyone hurt you, Malin, Suzaku murmured to her blader. I promise. We will be the strongest team in this tournement.
"All I need is a team, Suzaku. I'm good on my own, but I need someone else too..."
I know, dear. I know. Maybe Lis...
"If I can even find her," the redhead said tired.
You can ask Mr. Dickinson if he can look for her. Or another adult. You need to stop being so shy, Malin.
"I know..."
