Do you think you would be embarrased if someone you thought was cool and you wanted to hang out with them and you asked them if they wanted to play beyblades with you?


I would, I don't know. The masses just don't understand how much skill is involved, and how much fun it is.

I would tell them, and I propably wouldn't care what they think, even if it was a GF or something. If I blade, so what? ^__^

Oh, embarrassed... I'm just not telling it them... My class is class of creepy weird guys.... Like.. When Beyblade mania in Czech Republic started and some of my friends except have beyblades evryone says :"Oh such a coool game can I try?? 10 or 8 moths later.. Do you still play "Gayblade"??? And I don't said anything and they still ask stupid questions to me and they lagh like horses.....

some know that I like beyblade and mess with me just because of it. I think it's kinda stupid what they are doing. Judging people just because of one thing that they don't like. I don't care so I'm not embaressed at all, I say: Moke with me whenever you want, wherever you want, I don't care because the ones who are being imature are you.

Been there done that. They said no and went off somewhere to smoke. I was like "Heh okay that wasn't as bad as I thought". So no. I'm not embarassed.

Anyone who knows me knows I love Beyblade. If you're embarassed of what total idiots think of you, it's kind of sad.

Well, if someone dissed me, I word curse them out. People are called "geeks" around here for playing them. Also I get good grades, I'm no geek, they enjoy homework, I don't I do my homework the next day at school before that periods homework is due at that period ><.

I seriously don't care. I have bunches of friends who beyblade with me. And my Big Bro blades with me when he visits from New York. Stupid people donn't play ;D.

Why the hell would I ask anyways? I have never asked people that. And I don't think you should either, until you know what the person likes and not likes. If they find anime interesting you could ask, but if they don't...well he or she might think youre immature :P

When I first got into blading I was embarrased, but most if not all of my friends know I'm heavily into it, and they simply don't care or just say something like "Whatever. To each their own." My friends are very understanding.

My friends know I bey, and I know they think it's stupid, but it's only come up a few times ^^. My friends don't care what I do.

well in year 7, a load of people (basically all of year 7) found out that I beyblade.... I was so embarrassed but then they said they didnt care, and "good luck at uk finals" ^^

I've never been embarrased about playing Beyblade and never will. But it can be embarrasing when my parents come in the room and I'm watching Beyblade.

Ya, I just tell them it's anime so they think it for like grown-up's or something. The main reason I don't tell anyone is cause in the south no one plays with beyblades. They all play like football or something, but I love to play tackle though.

Thank you! Someone else from the south! Yeah, and they find out and they're all like, "Gayblade is kids! Grow up! Why don't you go and play over there with the Kindergardeners!". Pff. If they only knew what a Dragoon MSUV in the face felt like. I haven't really had a problem since I moved up north.

Anyways, I'd be embarrassed. So what if I am? Not everyone can stand up and say that they like Beyblades. But it's not simply the "I have about one or two blades kicking around." It's the "Oh yeah and I webmaster a beyblade website, visit 3 different beyblade forums and buy some blades off people around the world."

My friends could care less that I have maybe 9 or so Blades... But knowing that I'm that into Beyblade would weaken the relationship between my friends and I. The uncomfortable tension. I guess it's like having you're girlfriend say she has herpes or she's pregnant or something. =\

I'm emmbarrased... I live in the east and most kids act like there mature and all. I'm trying to be 14 as long as I Can! Ive always wanted to stay at the age of 12. That was my moment, a preteen, half kid half teen ^_^! And no I don't act like I'm fourteen! I act like I'm still a kid, I play with beyblades, I play with my little cousins.

And to gurdian X: It will be so scary if my girlfreind told me she was pregnant :o :lol:

It's been a while since I last bladed... And it's been a while since anyone commented any of my interrests. Haha, I couldn't really care just WHAT others say about it! What is there really to be embarrased of? If you're really interested in something, and your friends make fun out of it, you should get new friends ASAP . If you got a friend that understands your passion, you're a really lucky person.

It's only embarassing for me, plainly because some of my friends are going on with their lives, getting jobs, buying cars, cellphones, partying... And when they ask me when I'm getting my vehicle, I can't say "I dunno... I spent most of my paycheck on Beyblades."

I guess I'm just not comfortable with having my friends know that I spent half my weekends dedicated to Beyblade.

Well I mean they just think it is something stupid like digimon (hope I didn't offend any digimon fans). Some kid show about love or something. So that means anything associated with the show (of course the beyblades..........) are "gay".
