I'm pretty sure you know what's coming now. If you are seriously damn pissed off with all these speeches, just get the hell out of here. I honestly hope that this can get that crucial message through. I expect to see this deleted or locked at the minimum, so I suggest to you to read while you still can.
I intend to leave this board soon.
The situation on BBS is reaching a relatively high level of spasticity. Not in the individual member, but as a group.
The reason for removing the previous board seems non-existent. It makes no sense whatsoever, assuming that all of us here are rational members of the community, thinking in terms of the greater good (at least most of the time, in which "greater" does not constitute n00bs and SPAMmers). But in the light of recent evidence, startling conclusions can be drawn.
For one, the list of the people in power should be considered.
And cross referenced with the list of the people who supported this move, of removing the site from under the chief admin, who happened to be doing quite a good job maintaining it even throughout the descent into n00bism.
Shall we call this... the draw towards power? How is this different from stealing members off a forum by PMing them with site URLs and telling them they can be mods on the new forum?
Of course, this could just be a co-incidence. Until much more conclusive evidence is drawn out, this thought shall be left at the back of my mind.
Another point that I wish to bring up is the matter of administration.
I hope to see more responsible and worthy people running the administration of the site.
Forgive the informality, but I'm pretty damn sure that Sai's judgement can be trusted.
It appears that Brad was banned for nothing more than petty reasons. And when Sai lifted the ban, it was put back into place. This process was observed to have been repeated repeatedly. Which doesn't make sense, because when you have more than one admin, and they don't agree, the proper course of action would be to discuss the matter as a group and come to a conclusion instead of a rash action done at one member's whim? And, of course, the victim should be given a chance to speak to. I am inclined to take a similar view to that of the victim at the moment; since taking that of the persecutor would be equivalent to hypocrisy.
Another factor in this major decision is that of time.
You may have observed that the Beyblade and Customization area is stagnant. On this new BBS, there is only one section which is of interest to me; that of the RPG forum.
Yet, it has been brought to my attention that some major differences are in place.
The removal of the judging rule.
While not entirely perfect, this system has to be utilized if the forum consists of many immature members who insist on continual god-modding; or stacking the battles in their favour senselessly by increasing the power of their Character greatly. The entire purpose of this RPG section is to allow for a game of strategy. In strategy, the winner should be decided from two equal contestants, as compared to selecting the stronger of either. Allowing this behaviour will cause the RPG to relapse into nothing more than an insane power struggle, as each member, not wishing to be left out, edits their profile and constantly increasing the strength, then starting battles in which the first member to admit defeat is the loser. Battles which, due to natural human nature, will go on indefinitely. In fact, often, neither admits defeat but one forces the other into an early loss. An early and unjust loss.
In fact, from here, it leads to another element in this ballade.
The issue of democracy and liberty VS tyranny.
Why should members be blocked out from their own forum? Why should all their hard work, the online counterpart to their lives over the past year, be disabled for no reason other than sheer spite, contempt and a rush for power?
Why should all members be forced to join a stagnant forum, hoping to continue their posts from the previous visit but realising that something has gone terribly wrong with the community?
This forum bears no relation to the last.
The idea of cleaning up meant cleaning up SPAM.
Not deleting everything and reverting back to the style of forum encouraging SPAM; the initials "BBS" stand for "Bey Blade Spirit". Please note the keywords here, "Bey" and "Blade". Put together, they refer to a game, some may even refer to it as a sport, that we all love and enjoy.
There wouldn't be reason to ban members who didn't play, but stayed here for the general discussion only.
But likewise for providing a bad image for Bey-loving members.
To keep Bey alive, we have to encourage players to play. A main reason for people to give up the Bey is that of a lack of response.
Thus, by causing one cornerstone of the English Bey online community to fall into such a state of despair, one would in a sense be harming the foundation of Bey itself.
If this is not a Bey forum, why have a "beyblade" and "customization"? Why have Bey kept separate in the RPG section? Why call it Bey Blade Spirit?
If you wish to persist in this behaviour, I strongly suggest to you to change the site name to that of "SPAM Spirit"; or likewise.
Kindly do not malign that fine tradition of Bey-damashi; the Beyblade Spirit. Set up your own site, possibly invite members to join.
Do not take advantage of this current fan base, and hold up this major pillar of Bey-fandom.
I intended to affiliate with this once-great site. But unless something drastic happens to the administration, I'll cut off links with this site.

I can't agree with you more, Composer.
I'm not saying that I had such a great administration period, but it was certainly better than what is going on now.
I really wish the old mod/admin team would return. Things were going so much better back then. I've tended to stray from this site for the lack of conversation of the boards main topic, (Beyblade, for all you morons who don't remember because you are too busy posting in General.) but it didn't always used to be like this.
I used to visit this site daily, when it was actually worth something, but now everything is falling apart. We need this sites original founder back. Ukiya/Ukitachou/Kyle, whatever you're going by, where the hell are you?
I always thought it was a big mistake to leave this site, and it seems I was right. Look at it, its falling apart. The administration team SERIOUSLY needs to get there priorities straight and start communicating with eachother before they make a decision.
Unless something is done about this, I don't foresee this site lasting another 2 weeks.

Kyle's main intention was popularity from the beginning to the end... If that is how he views BBS as, then it has no hope since his only concern is popularity...
Kyle took back BBS without informing Time and Veggitto... Is that a fair thing to begin with? And then when Time and Veggitto left because he took it back all of a sudden, he disappeared... Great...
Do you think having Kyle again would do any good? Before he passed BBS to Vegitto, he wanted to shut it down. Was that a fair thing? Veggitto took the burden off him then he takes it back when he knows that he can have an easier time? Where is the dedication in that? Half the reviews were'nt even done by him!!

YOu have no idea how right you are.
Did you know that when this site was created, it was for the sole purpose of competing with Street Beyblade, and NOT being a good site independent from that? And that Uki didn't care about Beyblade that much?
I've been around long enough to know that. -__-

I heard the Street Beyblade part from Shadow... But I found out the popularity part at the old forums when he complained about pruning the intor topics will lead to drop in popularity.
Apparently his ideal was
More posts = Means more popularity
I guess the reason he moved back to this forum was because to make it look big and popular again..-________-

As have I. And Kyle never actually did the work. Calum did most of the content, and when GuardianX and Zanon brought that out, he de-admined himself and people licked his ass for being selfless.

Heh... The moment he saw Time being co-web, he took back his position... He started this mess yet he refuse to fix it...

BTW.... Didn't Kyle said something about being gone for good last time in the other BBS? If he's "gone for good", how the hell can he admin a board? And a site? =/ It makes absolutely no sense.
So maybe someone raided Kyle's account... Not like I"m siding anyone, I'm just pointing out a fact... He said he'll be gone for good.... I don't even see him on MSN... Or AIM...

During the hack attack he took the oppurtunity to reset the FTP password, giving him power to the main site...
Several days before hand, he was already preparing the old baord... Initially he wanted to like have 2 seperate BBS boards I think... He still has power at the old board(meaning this one)...
Him having power here and having power at the main site is enough for him to take over...

I still don't get it... Everyone's making a huge fuss about people not posting in Beyblade section... I myself don't post there much... Most things have been covered anyway... In one way or another.... And how many interesting topics are there actually? =/
I mean, if they don't, talk to them personally first.. Get them in the mood to talk about Beyblades... Come on people, you're not putting in enough effort....... And quit complaining no one posts there. If we really try, there will be posts. This board is practically dead... How different is this to the other one, huh? =/

There are people posting in beyblade section... People like Composer who mostly only go to RPG, Beyblade or Customs section... Much like how there is some people who don't go to anywhere else but General and/or Graphics mostly...
Why use the beyblade name, when its purpose is not about beyblade anymore? Honestly, there are lots of beyblading topics which are interesting enough for everyone... Yuripa onced mentioned in the old forums if there is an interesting beyblade topic, everyone would post. But there is alot of interesting beyblade topics but only a few posted... Understand?
And even if you are only a fan of the anime, I don't see much activity there either to begin with. I guess this is because all the topics needed in there already exsist in other forums, like TnK who solely focuses on fandom.
Face it, BBS is dead... I still don't get it on why some people still wants to save it...
