Maybe he used photoshops pen tool......I wont know though , never bothered to learn it up :P .

You did not create that, you merely added the gradient. How do I know this? Well the site I used to work on, Ninjutsu Online (RIP) used it in their first spash. No doubt it is most probably a shape your version of PS has.
P.S. I better not find out you stole it from Nin-online.
