Sprodj-Another astounding achievement by the Molvanjan Space League. Equipped with the new Hyperdrive engines and tanks of extra fuel, Fezzig Karkov (the President's cousin) became the first man to see the Clouds of Magellan with his own eyes, not through a camera. At 4 am, he lifted off on a potentially suicidal mission to test the engines a second time. After ten minutes of static, Karkov made radio contact with the facilities here. A rousing cheer in the control room was shared by our lonely spaceman and, after another ten minutes, the craft made splashdown in the Caspian Sea. The ship was only a capsule at this point, so the Russian authorities had no interest in it. Karkov is currently sleeping off the strain of lightspeed travel and the unbearable hangover after the ingestion of several pints of zeerstum(garlic brandy). Molvanjan surgeons have found him in perfect health otherwise, and he will be making a press conference soon.
