OOC: Ok I really haven’t posted before, though in my old region we did have a form we really did not follow any rules but I think I know most of them. I'm really just trying to say hello.

In an effort to establish friendly communication with the other nations of the new region Michael Ventino, the leader of the republic, decided to issue a message to all nations announcing the arrival of The Cretan Republic of The Islands of Venice. The message read:

Hello fellow nations of the Balkans. I, Michael Ventino am leader of The Cretan Republic of The Islands of Venice. Our nation hopes to establish great relationships with all of the nations in the region and hope that you all will reciprocate the sentiments.

Welcome. The Byzantine nation wishes to have warm and friendly relations with your nation(Im basically Greece on the map, yellow part). Our ships(military) often pass through or near your waters, we wish to advise you not to be alarmed, as they are not hostile, often just conducting routine patrols. We hope our two nations are able to co-operate, especially on matters of security and defence.
