Title: Peace-Keeping in Mostarvia, Demoritis, Igoristan
Katja of Zahumlje - June 1, 2005 03:43 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: Zahumljani Peace Keepers have entered former Mostarvia to keep basic order. Any other Nations wishing to help in this endevour are invited to help distribute aid, render medical assistance and in crime prevention.
Of course BAHHB is on the ground working to secure the infrastructure and help people.
The Peacekeeping force has not been deployed in Demoritis or Igoristan. Mostarvia shares a common border with Zahumlje and that is why precedence has been given to the situation there.

USSM (Makharovsk) - June 1, 2005 09:28 AM (GMT)
Since Mostarvia's government was arguably one of the most unstable in the region, and considering its large collection of military equipment now in anyone's hands, we consider stabilising Mostarvia a high national priority. A brigade of our troops are moving into Mostarvia now to restore order. We offer their full co-operation to Edessian forces, any other peacekeepers in the region, and any aid agencies operating in the area.
Byzantian - June 1, 2005 01:04 PM (GMT)
Byzantine forces will of course, assist. A total of 10,000 peace keepers are on the way, together with vehicles and equipment. Mostarvia was largely a militaristic nation, and such, we do not wish to see a power vaccum situation, in which rival factions will fight it out for control.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - June 7, 2005 07:58 PM (GMT)
Brothers,
We thank all nations for sending in peacekeepers to assist the original 35 000 soldiers of the Royal Slavic Byzantium Legions that have entered Mostarvia a few hours after the government's downfall/abandonment of the land known as Mostarvia and the further 10 000 just recently deployed.
There have been dissidents in the remaining Mostar military forces attempting to instill a military backed government but thus far have been held back. Otherwise for the time being the current interim government is being accepted by all remaining people.
Because of this we are bringing in a further 10 000 peacekeepers for Mostar(even tho Mostarvia claimed Mostar as its own but enver was, it could also stand to reason another city was founded by the same name and became the capital) itself to ensure no such thing is successful, and to relieve the forces already there to watch over the military bases alongside Mostar military forces that have not abandoned the region with the government.
We are particularily concerned with Srebnyija and request the majority of peacekeepers be sent to that area as until we can spare the vessels required to send the forces needed to maintain order and bring the end of continuing violence in that region as few Mostar military units in Srebnyija have accepted that their government has left them. We also request special permission to send ground forces by land to Mostarvia which would greatly expediate the process. We will follow any conditions required for such a troop movement, even if it means being disarmed with those nations holding our firearms while in transit. If not, we will continue to airlift in units using our own aircraft and chartered AN-124's from the Russian military while our sea transports are bringing in equipment and supplies. Within the next 24 hours we will be landing units in by helicopter to secure any major airports and then bringing in more troops using SBC-130J's and SBC-76M's to bring order to the torn province. If Zahumlje would be willing to assist in this endeavour it would be greatly appreciated given their proximety to Mostariva.

Given the great task at hand, one that requires major and complete and total co-operation between all parties involved, as well as as much assitance as possible, the government has approved the deployment of a further 1,900 troops. Also, a contingent of 250 Special Forces will be sent, to help secure sites, and materials deemed of high value and of importance. For reasons of security, the areas in which the special forces will be operating, will not be revealed, nor will their operations/missions, until the entire operation of stabilising the country is complete.
International Terrans - June 8, 2005 07:39 PM (GMT)
The Democratic Federation is prepared to offer the services of the extremely bored 12th Mechanised Infantry Division and the 15th Armoured Brigade - that's 25,000 troops in total - for peacekeeping forces in Mostarvia, as they are currently (still) deployed in the Adriatic Sea.
As for Demoritis and Igorstan, I've been given permission to offer the 8th Light Infantry Division and the 2nd Marines for peacekeeping duty in Demoritis and Igorstan, respectively.
Katja of Zahumlje - June 11, 2005 04:52 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: This is good news as things seem a little twitchy in former Mosstarvia. Igoristan seems quiet, but well this IS the Balkans and one simply never knows.
So far the Zahumljani peace keepers have organized a graffiti paint out crew, apparently with the lack of strong central authority, people have had their homes simply plastered with graffiti.
Vaccination clinices have been held in various localities in Mostarvia since there is a need there too. Apparently the Civil War caused this vital public health function to be difficult. Any contributions of vaccines and personel would be deeply appreciated.
Best Wishes

Reports from our peacekeepers indicate that order has largely been restored within their area of operations in Mostarvia, all sites of military importance having been secured as a matter of priority, lest Mostarvia's munitions fall into the wrong hands. Any assistance in disarmament of these weapons would be much valued. With regard to Zahumlje's request for additonal medical personnel and supplies, the 5th Medical Division of our Peacekeeping Force are available to be attached to Zahumljan forces at their behest.
Molvanja - June 11, 2005 05:51 PM (GMT)
As Mostarvian citizens in Molvanja begin to immigrate back to the former Mostar Republic, Molvanja and President Lui Karkov decide to send troops back with them to guard and keep peace. This is in the interests of the Balkan region, and steps must be taken to ensure regional security. Ïä¢êí å¢ åðó Èôäëôòқ! Ìøñå¢êí!
Byzantian - June 12, 2005 05:14 AM (GMT)

Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - June 13, 2005 07:43 PM (GMT)
Brothers,
Our Disaster Assistance Relief Team (DART) has been airlifted into Srebniya after the securing of all major airports by elements of the II Airborne Eagles legion along with 200 more Eagles every hour. In a further 10 hours the entire legion will be in Srebniya and as we speak are restoring order. This will bring our commitment up to 50 000 troops and an estimated total of approximately 100 000 peacekeepers in Mostar alone. There have been several battles, especially in urban areas with a small percentage of remaining Mostar forces that refuse to accept that their leaders have abandoned them. It is also suspected that the units which are fighting have also committed atrocities of some sort and don't wish to be put to the Balkan courts for trial along with any reamining SIG units we can find. Fortunately, the majority of Srebniya has been unmolested.
After interviews and interigations of some captured Mostar officers and non-com's it seems that the plan launched by the Mostar military long ago to wipe out the SIG did allow total freedom to eliminate them, including no prosecution for killing civlians. However, for the most part civilians were left alone, although unfortunately a small number of commanders did commit atrocities against humanity in their directive to wipe out the SIG. As we speak the captured ones responsible are being kept under arrest at the abandoned military bases of Mostar to be brought to the BICJ.
We invite Molvanjan forces to join our command at Mostar Castle to maintain the peace.
In conjunction with the USSM special forces, a 250 strong contigment of the elite Carska Garda Legion is working together with them in securing high value targets.
The 20th and 21st legions have been sent to Igoristan and Demoritus, respectively. They will assist the nations commanding stabilizing roles in those regions.

We thank the Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium for their assistance, and are pleased to note that, although we face continued resistance from Mostarvian military groups in the area, these elements are largely contained.
