Sprodjz-Mammoth undertakings are occuring at the Sprodjz Atomic Researh and Space Launch Center (SARSLC) as research begins to find a way to put the new Hyperspace research to good use. The engines, once finished, are to be mounted on the Splutfab 1 probe and fired into space. The facility, located near the alpen city of Klow, stretches over 50 miles through a deep mountain-lined canyon. Scientists and engineers from all over the Balkans are gathering here today to contribute to the research and development of what could be the biggest thing since Man set foot on the Great White Head (the moon). Unfortunately, the Molvanjan Omnirevetical Church has some objections, saying that "If man were meant to go in space, he would have never created gravity. And those maps are false; the Earth is flat, I say, flat!" The statement was given by one of the High Priests at the Lutnblaag Cathedral. Anyway, the government hopes for much success in the project.
Atomic scientists and Quamtum physics experts from all over Slavic Byzantium are in SARSLC working on this joint inititive that will launch us into the stars. Atomic/Quantum and Space research facilites all over SB have made this development a top priority, more so than even our fledging colonies on Luna and recently created self-sufficient Mars colony. Our are working jointly along with the facilites in Molvanja.
We will no longer be limited to the resources of the Sol System. We will no longer have to dread a nuclear holocaust or catastrophic natural disaster for if it does occur, it will be only one planet affected and the species as a whole will survive.
When the prototype is successfully launched we will be securing the future of the human species. This is a time for great celebration brothers! This just comes to show what Balkan Unity can bring; if we can dream it, we can make it happen.
