After a long hiatus, elections are finally back in Edessia, the candidates are quite different this time, please check them out,t hen go to the polls and cast your vote!
Royal Society of Edessia Party:
Candidate: Sir Andre Cheslik
Running Mate: Sir Ahmed Arar
Platform: The Royal Society party is a mix of nobles, members of the Knights of The Sun order and commoners who believe in conservative values, such as a strong family unit, and defending family values and ethics involving children and healthcare. They are quite proud of the Royalty and what they have done recently to stabilize the government from inside. They have a pro-people, anti-abortion and a focus on delivering choice to the people. The choice of Privatized, high quality health care, without comprimising Public healthcare quality, so citizens can have the best choice. Seen as a solid party to vote for, with a stance on revamping the military and a Pro-RUDF attitude. Also are pro global trade.
Edessian Cyber-Rights Party:
Candidate: ZX0098-56K Telecommunications server AKA "Karl Heinrich" (encased in new humanoid body)
Running Mate: F42-DI89-NS-5 Robotic Humanoid AKA "Robert Williams" (encased in new humanoid body)
Platform: The Cyber-Rights party is once again running in the elections, this time with shiny new humanoid bodies, and improved AI. Still fighting for the rights of artifical organisms and full cybernetic treatment implementation in the health care system. They want to be elected to move the equality bar to a level environment, where Polski's Turks, Arabs, and Robots can live in peace, harmony and recieve equal employment. The party wishes to employ the best technology and revamp the whole system into using nano based technologies in everything from health care to manufactuering and research. There has been a big move in the Robot Sentience Society of Edessia, which includes practically every, non-factory or manufactuering robot, to more humanize there skills, and become less perfect, and less ideal, to become as what they see, more human, thus being able to make mistakes, and a dynamic learning code and program, and the need for sleep, and the ability to "die" at an unknown time in that robots life, like real people. By doing this they hope to win the hearts of Edessians and move into equal oppurtunities for employment and being treated as citizens, not just hunks of metal. Also, the party has multiple stances, such as Pro-Life, anti death sentence, and Pro Gay marriage, they believe, that in order to preach and gain equal rights, they need to put that same attitude back into the community. Also a prime focus is healthcare, and global and regional trade. "Equality through Technology!"
Red Party of Edessia:
Candidate: Vladislaw Nikov
Running Mate: Uros Ludovic
Platform: The Red Party of Edessia, is essentially communist, and has many leftist ideals, such as government services ranging from healthcare delivry, to food delivery systems, and complete public sector activities, and seizing all the gold, and wealth in the state, and redistributing it in, uninflated, equal amounts amongst all citizens of Edessia. Also, they are pro military, and wish to greatly increase the already fit Edessian military multiple folds. Abolishment of the private sector and starting specialized high schools for certain arts, trades and professions, to make sure the youth are fit to enter the working world. The party is rather extreme in their position and wants to subjugate the Royalty further into obscurity, by giving it complete ceremonial status. Also, they are anti gay marriage and pro death sentence. Anti Globalist trade, only trade through planned and approved candidates, a rather planned economy system here.
Green Party of Edessia:
Candidate: Summer Valentine
Running Mate: Joaquin Julliani
Platform: The Green party, as everyone knows is a loose coalition of enviromentally conscious politically focused groups around the world. They have arrived in large into Edessia recently, to protest the increase of fossil fuel power plants and the cuts in spending to the environment and preservation of wildlife and fauna. Also, they are a pro public healthcare, and pro gay marriage and anti-death penalty, type of party, with a strong focus on using and researching alternative fuels to run our daily lives frome verything to vehicles, power plants and just about anything using traditional fuel, also, they have a strong basis for the family unit here in Edessia, and want to see Alamony payments be made mandatory, and child health care increased. Pro Regional and Global trade, in ehtical and strict manner.

IC: The Liberal Party of Tolomakia (currently forming the governemnt, in power for over 30 years) has decided to offer financial support for the Edessian Cyber-Rights Party. Up to $10 millions will be made available for the candidates of these party to make their voices hear.

yes, the parties were all disbanded after the monarchy, these are but the first to re-surface and thats why the choices are less and less varied, otherwise there would be like 6 or 7 choices even. But the coservatives havent formed yet, and the green party is an international party in RL so they quickly jumped in, cyber rights, well info travels at the speed of light, they all jsut hid in hardrives until the elections. Also, the Cyber Rights party accepts the donation!
