Radio Free Mostarvia Live Broadcasting
Good day people of Mostariva! Here is Miroslav Filipovici speaking live on Radio Free Mostarvia.
We are here for all decent people of Mostarvia – and we all know that the vast majority of the Mostarvians are with us. Our task is to keep you informed about what is really happening in our poor country under the terrible dictatorship of Vladovar Vladovic and his gang of murderers. We are outside the range of the manipulating secret police and we will let you know the TRUTH.
We are also here for all the brothers and sisters in the Balkans, good people ready to help us fight against the oppressors. We will show them that we, the Mostarvians, are good and decent people, peace lovers and only a small violent minority is supporting the current regime. Unfortunately, they have weapons and they are controlling the communications and they have seized the power, but with the help of the free world the will of the people will overcome them shortly.
Let’s now have a few minutes of Mostarvian music before coming back with the first RFM News Bulletin.
OOC: any player wishing to make a program on RFM is more than welcome to. Just post the text/scenarion here. The only limitation is to respect RFM’s political profile. Of course, you can have your show here as well, Mostarvia, playing the enemy is always fun :)

RFM breaking news…
[…]
This morning the Mostarvian government has organized several manifestations in the largest cities of Mostarvia to show the supposed people support for the dictatorial regime. The controlled mass-media has shown images from the meeting in Mostar, with a well-known agitator and informer of the secret policy spreading accusation against the neighboring nations.
Our anonymous informer in Mostarvia are speaking of a maximum 5.000 participants in Mostar, most of them workers on the industrial platform of the city, forced to participate at the meeting. In other cities no more than several hundred participants have attended. It is rumored that the local administrators in a couple of this cities are now questioned for not organizing the manifestations well enough.
This only shows once again that such aggression towards other nations is not the way of the Mostarvian people, and only the brutal means of a desperate dictator. With the entire free world against his regime, without any support from the people, dictator Vladovici seems to be crazier each day that passes.
We will get back to this issue in a special program with our analysts.
Now lets hear the other news […]
USSM (Makharovsk) - April 20, 2005 04:52 PM (GMT)
OOC: Voice of America lives! For those who don't know, this was an American propaganda station broadcasting into East Germany and Poland. Good idea, though.
Thracia - April 20, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
No, that was Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (which is still operating, if I am not mistaken).
Voice of America was designed to be more objective, more like USA's answer to BBC. That broadcasting institution, too, is still operating.
USSM (Makharovsk) - April 20, 2005 10:13 PM (GMT)
Ah, that's it. I didn't know VoA was still operating, but I did know about RFE. I was under the impression that they were both propaganda, but that one was more subtle. Semantics, though, I guess.

Well, it was not only propaganda. Actually, Radio Free Europe was one of the two sources of decent information we had in Romania during the communist regime - I mean in Romanian language, about Romania. Teh second one was BBC but they had a more polically correct atitude towards the communist leaders.

RFM breaking news…
RFM journalists have brought evidences of Mostarvian crimes against the humanity in Srebnya. We have worked together with The Committee for Srebnyia Self-Autonomy (CSSA), organization in exile. We have pictures, audio recording, and the testimonies of two Srebnyians that have escaped the massacre in a small village. The two persons, a male and his 16 years son, are now safe in exile. For security reasons we are not going to reveal their names and their voices will be blurred. Let’s hear for the man…
“One night the Mostarvian soldiers have entered our village. They were saying that some of the villagers were helping members of the Islamic Guard… this is not true! The Islamic Guard has become a band of smugglers and nobody was helping them willingly. We all try to have our religion and culture and education and independence but we are peace loving people. Anyway, our mayor and our spiritual leader have tried in vane to explain to the soldiers and officers the truth. They have ordered that everybody gather in front of the Mosque. Than they have searched every house and if they would have find somebody hiding they would have shut him on the spot. I have taken my son and we were hidden in the basement of the Mosque and we were lucky that they did not search there – they thought nobody was inside the Mosque because it was night and the door was locked. Than, they’ve asked again about rebels but nobody knew nothing. Than they’ve took five young girls and the soldiers raped them just in front of everybody. It was horrible, children were crying, women were screaming… The father of one of the girls took a knife and jumped to one of the officers, injuring him. At that point, other parents have tried to fight and the soldiers have opened fire in the crowd. They’ve killed everyone, over 80 people were there. One bullet has entered through the window and hit my 12 years old son, killing him. At the end the soldiers have brought trucks and loaded all the bodies and took them away. We have stayed in the basement the entire next day and next night we got out and went towards the border…”
Thank you, sir, for your testimony. We are currently trying to find out what happened with the bodies. We are sure that similar crimes have happened in other villages and we will find proves about the crimes of the Mostarvian Army!
Now back to other news…
-Mostarvia- - April 22, 2005 12:36 PM (GMT)
Radio Mostarvia Reporting!
Lies have been spread to try to bring about the disunity of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia for the capitalist gains of foreign nations who have long had a hatred of the strength of Mostarvia.
Do not believe the filth and propoganda, should you hear it, for it is from supporters of the terrorists Srebnyia Islamic Guard and those who support them through funding them for profit and strategic postioning in the region!
Our soldiers fight for the freedom of The Srebnyia region of Mostarvia from falling into terrorist hands, and for the freedom and security of all Mostarvia!
Lies spread about attempt to undermine our strength and our unity, but should not be believed.
Remember, fellow Mostarvians, Stay vigilant! And report any suspicious activity to your nearest MostarPol Officer!
The villagers reported killed and raped by Mostarvian soldiers in foreign enemy propganda is a lie.
In fact, they were killed and raped by the terrorists for assisting Mostarvian soldiers in seeking out the terrorists.
They were true heroes of Mostarvia, and were murdered by terrorists.
Those 'villagers' who claim it was Mostarvian soldiers are in fact terrorist agents who spread propoganda such as the one spread to try to bring about disunity in Mostarvia, along with support for sanctions and military action against Mostarvia.
United Mostarvia always stands.
Stay Vigilant!
