Title: Patriotic Demonstrations in Mostarvia
Description: Baying for blood resounds.
-Mostarvia- - April 20, 2005 10:51 AM (GMT)
Balkans News Network Reports:
Hundreds of thousands of Mostarvians are marching in Mostarvia's capital of Mostar and in other Mostarvian towns, cities, and villages today, waving Mostarvian flags and chanting patriotic slogans, whilst setting fire to Tolomakian, Edessian, Slavic Byzantium, and Byzantium flags and then defecating on the ashes.
"Let these b*****ds try war on us! We will annihilate them!" screams an Mostarvian man on a podium addressing the crowds in Mostar, to a chorus of approval, "They wish to end the power of the union of Mostarvia! They will fail, miserably for them! They will be destroyed! They make false excuses to wage war upon on us and then broadcast anti-Mostarvian messages! For this reason, we need no false excuses to wage war on them and be VICTORIOUS!! The future of our children, and our children's children's children, and so forth in to the never ending stretch of time calls out to us to pick up arms and crush those who dare to threaten us! My glorious Mostarvian comrades! Not one step back shall be taken in our campaign! Our People's war for The People's Red Mostar Union Of Mostarvia! Kill the Gurich! Kill the Edessian! Kill The Tolomakian! Kill the Slavic Byzantium! Kill the Byzantine! KILL THE INVADER! MAKE YOUR MOTHER PROUD! FOR THE MOTHERLAND!!!!!!"
A chorus of vocal thunder and cheering goes up. The message is broadcast around Mostarvia, raising patriotic fervour still further.
USSM (Makharovsk) - April 20, 2005 04:48 PM (GMT)
What, no rabid crowds of thugs baying for our collective blood? What a surprise. Perhaps we have gained a little tolerance from your people for not objecting to your treatment of Tasnovic.

"Truly dispicable" The flight sergeant said as he spat on the ground and made an instinctive move for his AK carbine while cursing in a combo of Greek and Latin, "Caput tuum in ano est es stercus! Tha su skiso to muni aderfara-" one of his corporals interupted.
"Indeed flight sergeant, but we must be discrete here. It really is disgusting to see their government allowing this to happen. I cannot comprehend one nation allowing their citizens to do that to another nation's flag. That would land anyone in jail instantly back home." The flight sergeant recomposed himself
"Thank you Corporal. Best not to arouse suspicion when we're near the end of our mission. We found what we're looking for. Let us finish our final task and then move back to the pick up spot. It truly is tempting to shoot that man riling up the crowd. It would be so easy, no one could trace it back to us. Best not to risk everything, let us continue." They walked onto the streets, and as they neared the rally in Mostar, they joined in on the cheering and name calling for a moment or two, electrifying the crowd surrounding them even more with their pretended fervor, and continued walking.
-Mostarvia- - April 21, 2005 11:19 AM (GMT)
Secret IC:
The man lay on the roof of the high rise building in the capital of Slavic Byzantium, perfectly still, his assembled and advanced anti-Armour missile launcher resting on his shoulder that he had hidden from public view in a guitar case.
Below, on the deserted street below, the Slavic Byzantium leader's Limo sped past in a long convoy, the aim of the man's missile launcher all the while on the limo.
He had done this before, the aim on the limo, ready to fire, but always never fired.
It would be so easy, just to pull the trigger-
But no. The order had not yet come, if it ever would.
Secret IC:
Location: Mostar, capital of Mostarvia.
The MUSS Agent watched the two men amongst the crowd curiously and with suspicion. He had heard them talking, and whilst he was not sure, he was quite sure the language was that of Latin, or Greek.
He had been briefed about the Slavic Byzantium threat and their language, as had all MUSS Agents and Mostarvian military, and now, stony faced, cold and professional, he made his way through the crowd, keeping a safe distance from the men whilst following them, sidearm as yet undrawn, all the while muttering into his mic feed to alert other MUSS Agents to the situation, but to maintain professional calmness in their operation.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 22, 2005 07:01 AM (GMT)
Secret IC: A second team was following MUSS agents trailing the other one. This group made a proper attempt at making themselves discrete, speaking in native Mostar languages with perfect accents and carrying only native pistols.
They made seemingly idle chatter, "MUSS agents really are quite competent. Unfortunately they will mass converge on only one target, should always consider the possibility of the enemy also lurking elsewhere. I never did like being part of the distraction, but I digress. Let us continue." They moved on further into the city to gauge the support of Mostar civilians and afterwards called for a taxi to the Mostar airport. No one could have been bothered to pay them any attention.
Location: Constantinople
No orders sent to him yet. Yet another last resort measure. If only other nations knew the sheer amount of funds our military truly puts into special forces and espionage and spies and traitors. I feel tempted to recommend to the head of MUSS to one day read The Art of War, might make our task an actual challenge and improve his taste on literature. Need to do something about those bloody spy satellites without blowing them up. The navy unwittingly giving away so much information to the Mostars, luckily for the Admirality nothing of too grave importance. Important enough though....
The man continued his observation and thinking to himself from a kilometre away on another rooftop, with a sniper team laying beside him.
-Mostarvia- - April 22, 2005 12:00 PM (GMT)
Secret IC:
"Take them down. Alive." The order came over the mic feeds and ear pieces of the MUSS Agents.
The two MUSS Agents carrying the Tranq pistols withdrew them, and pursued the two suspects making their way through the crowd from a unoticable distance.
A clear shot amongst the crowd was hard to obtain, but it came, with patience.
"Target acquired."
"Target acquired."
TUM! TUM!
The two Slavic Byzantium Agents were hit by the tranq darts and they halted and jerked in a eerie dance, before falling onto the hard concrete.
The crowds immeadiatly surrounded the unconcious men, but the MUSS Agents dispersed them with shouts of "Emergency!" "Make room for the doctor!!"
An hour and a half later the two men woke up, groggy and disorientated, to find themselves in seperate rooms, in the deep belly of the MUSS HQ in Mostarvia's capital Mostar, ripe for interrogation.
The Taxi driver continued to drive to Mostar Airport, but he continued to observe the two men in the back of his cab with suspicion.
They looked nervous, uneasy, having left the demonstrations in Mostar Square and hailed his cab.
The Taxi Driver, a former Mostarvian Policeman or MostarPol for short, who had retired aged 65 two years ago, decided that his concerns about these two men were too overwhelming to ignore, in the light of threats of foreign spies and terrorists highlighted by Mostarvian media, and he immeadiatly stepped on his brakes at high speed.
UUURRRRRRRGH! The tyres screeched as the two passengers in the back, not wearing seatbelts, were propelled heardfirst into the driver and passenger seat in front of them, rendering them unconcious and as the car halted, so they were hurled by velocity back into their seats.
The Taxi driver himself was knocked out for around 20 seconds, and awoke to angry drivers screaming at him.
"WHAT IN THE NAME OF MOSTAR DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?! Screamed one irate young man in his ear through the open window.
"Foreigners..." The Taxi driver gasped, bleeding from the head from impacting the steering wheel, a blow lessened by his seatbelt, "spies."
The Taxi driver got out of his car, staggering, and observed the two men in the back of his cab as the crowd made way, also now staring at the unconcious passengers.
"Call MostarPol." The Taxi driver gasped, before fainting.
A number of the crowd did so on their mobile phones, to report the car incident, others out of believing the spy story brought on by state induced paranoia.
Within 5 mins, The MostarPol arrived, quickly followed by an Ambulance. Within 2 minutes after that, upon hearing of the commotion, MUSS arrived, and upon showing their credentials, the MostarPol and Ambulance crew shrank away after placing neck braces on the two still unconcious passengers.
Within 20 minutes, the two Slavic Byzantium agents found themselves also in seperate rooms, deep in the belly of the MUSS HQ in Mostar, ripe for interrogation.
The Taxi driver found himself at MUSS HQ, but would be questioned in a more friendly manner, assured that he would recieve a high commendation, such as Hero of The Mostarvian Union.
Upon hearing that 4 spies had been caught in one day, one MUSS Agent remarked to another in a cold tone, "Four spies caught in a day....are these people amateurs?"
"Abso-f*****g-lutley" said the second MUSS Agent, in a reflective but dark tone.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 22, 2005 02:52 PM (GMT)
ooc:more of a combo of that and dumb luck on the part of your taxi driver. I was hoping to have them keep it cool and make it out, what with them being special forces men and all but nooooo you just had to do that =P
IC: The woman stood there in the crowd calling MostarPol along with others in the crowd. Incompetent fools, she thought. But then again, I expected nothing more from low ranking non-coms even in the Varangian Guard. Never should send soldiers to do a spy's job. At least the one thing I know they can handle is interegation and even torture if MUSS decides to stoop to that level. At least they're not stupid enough to realize that whether or not they say anything they'll likely die or never return to their homes again until this worthless tensions subsides. Maybe I should still order their deaths just to be on the save side, they have no immeadiate family and would be of little loss.
She did not like the heightened levels of tension at all but she knew she has a job to do and orders to follow it and that she did. She had lived in Mostar for quite some time now and being a former resident of the region before the nation Mostarvia was created, she had no problems whatsoever blending in and higher ranking informants in MUSS that overview every single detail in the agency knew nothing of her existence, much less the agents who actually do the counter-spy work.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 22, 2005 02:55 PM (GMT)
ooc: I'm thinking we could go for in terms of spies something similar to From Russia with Love or James Clavell's Asian Saga series, where both sides know of nearly all spies of either side, double agents all over the place and in some cases agents giving out information to several factions being in it solely for the cash and only a select few never truly being caught etc.
USSM (Makharovsk) - April 22, 2005 04:12 PM (GMT)
OOC: Yeah, a spy 'war' would be interesting. A few ideas, though. In the Cold War, KGB and CIA didn't go off killing the other agency's assets, for the most part. The retribution would be too dangerous. Also, most foreign spies had diplomatic cover, running native agents. I don't know if this applies in a dictatorship like Mostarvia, but the most that's happen to the 'diplomats' was being asked to leave by the native government and having their credentials as diplomats revoked. Just some thoughts.
-Mostarvia- - April 23, 2005 09:24 AM (GMT)
OOC: lol sorry SB :P
I like the ideas that are being proposed, double agents and so forth, excellent.
In the case of the spies MUSS now has in it's custody, I would say that a nation whose spies have been caught would probably deny their existence (like the last Bond Film) or say they are diplomats or tourists.
It would not surprise me if there's British and US Spies locked up in say, Chinese jails, that the Chinese won't declare, and that the British or US won't admit to anyway.
And vice versa.
There's a PS2 game coming out dealing with this issue, called 'Cold Winter'. The Chinese Government capture a British Agent, and the British government deny all knowledge, and China does not declare it has him.
That way, a nice status is kept, where both know what's happened, but don't want to turn it into an international incident.
Secret IC:
The Mostarvian woman, fluent in the language of Slavic Byzantium, and living in it's capital for some years, before being drafted in by unknowing Slavic Byzantium headhunters to be a spy for Slavic Byzantium, heard on the careless SB Intelligence grapevine that four SB spies had been captured in Mostar, Mostarvia.
She inwardly smiled, but on her exterior, showed no emotion. Her country had captured four fish to play with, and would inform her fellow MUSS Agents as such, if they did not know already, which she admitted to herself, was unlikely.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 25, 2005 03:05 AM (GMT)
ooc: I apologize for not writing down a whole bunch of stuff but I worked an unbeleivable amount of hours during the weekend and was busy solid, tomorrow I can and will do it.
-Mostarvia- - April 27, 2005 11:35 AM (GMT)
OOC: No problem. I won't be able to RP or write anything here until next week, as I'm going away, sorry about that. Hopefully when I get back we can pick things up where we left them.
Edessia - May 2, 2005 04:50 AM (GMT)
Secret IC: Edessia, our flags, have been tormented, this cannot be! Molchenski, grab your rifle, and get to that roof top, take a position and watch the ring leader. I'll be on the lower balcony below you. "Yes Comrade, for the movement! for Srebniya!" As Al-Krasini looked at young Molchenski running up the fire escape to the roof, he thought to himself...*Our government at home, they do nothing but stare at this, why are they not here! they should be in the meiddle of Mostar square by now, if they had the guts sometimes. Though, i can understand them not wanting to get involved, but still, these pigs insult our honor, if they wont do it, I will.* He smiled smuggly as he thought to himself. I cant believe we've gotten this far, his small, clandestine group, The Edessia Islamiya World Front, his world front, hmm, too good to be true. He lit another cigarette and took position behind a box on the second floor balcony. He spotted the flag burners of Edessian flags, he radioed there positions to Yurkiw and Asoud, and ordered them to fire, taking them out. Three silenced gun shots went off, *click, click, click* Al-Krasini, Yurkiw and Asoud firing one single shot at each Edessian flag burner, just before they could light the flags with there feul cans and matches. The three men went down, dead, and hit the ground, no one seemed to notice, in all the chaos, who would, besides, otheres went down in the crowd and obtained by MUSS, hmm. Molchenski fired at the feul cans, *click, BOOM!* screams were heard in the crowd, then *click, BOOM! , click, BOOM!* as two more exploded, lighting nearby people on fire, and injuring others. "Alright, Molchenski, the point has been made lets get out of here, and into our disguises, before they can catch us, i mean, we are like 10 blocks away, they cant possibly get us that fast, even if they do, us, the "Angels of Death" formally labelled as such when Edessia was here helping Mostarvia, is already firmly entrenched anyway." "Correct, Comrade, we shall go, and if we die, it is int he name of MArtydom for Global Islamiya and Srebniya!!" The four individuals ditch there weapons and run downt eh fire wells, stair wells and what other means to escape the building, and throwing on more civlian like clothing before they leave, only keeping htere pistols concealed, under their coats...
OOC: Carry it on from there, remember there ten blocks away from protestors, so dont be like MUSS agents uber-kapwned them by seeing them really quick and picked em all off, make it into a cool chase, possibly letting one get away, or not, whatever.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - May 2, 2005 02:55 PM (GMT)
Secret IC: Hmm. The man thought to himself. They beat us to it. All the better, makes it impossible for Mostarvia to blame SB for this.
He motioned for his team to holster their silenced weapons. The 4 man team was part of the elite Carska Garda. Protectors of the Tsar and now Emperor for over 700 years. They were second to none in the world and enver in their history had they ever been caught or discovered to be of SB origin in any covert operation they had ever done. They spoke calmly and cooly in a Slavic language. "Shall we incapacitate one and take them for questioning?" One of the men asked.
The team leader replied, "No, we already have enough of them for the information we require. Let MUSS worry over them."
One of the men said "if we were to blow out the knee caps on one of them it would occupy MUSS, making it easier for us to leave."
"We do not require such a distraction, but it would help nonetheless. However, they were right to stop such total disregard for the symbols of other nations. Let them be, even if they are Muslim extremist scum. In fact, it would be best for us to assist them. Aim for the knees." There were a handful of MUSS agents in the area to keep a tab on the crowd to ensure things did not get too out of hand, even for Mostar citizens. They were headed in what they beleived to be the direction of where the shots came form. They ahd guessed right. Within a span of 3 seconds, all five of them were on the ground clutching their knees, having no clue where the shots came from. "They will recover with time, and therapy. The Muslims will pay for killing the civilians who did not burn the flags in such a manner though."
"Let us go, we cannot risk staying any longer, they are alive, the calibre is of standard Mostar military issue, our country is safe from blame." They went down from the rooftop of the building they were in. They were unoticed by all, too engrossed with the carnage a dozen blocks down the road. 3 hours later they had left the city and reached a designated pick up spot. It was also nighttime. 43 of the 48 men were there. Whether or not MUSS knew of them about to be picked up, it mattered not. The helicopters would provide the cover needed to ensure their extradiction. They came right on time, within 30 seconds the men were all picked up and the helicopters left at full speed flying 10-20 feet above ground level to avoid Mostar RADAR. Their task was complete. They remained at the altitude all the way back to their fleet.
Edessia - May 2, 2005 11:32 PM (GMT)
Yurkiw was running as fast as he could, with all the breath he had, then suddenly *RIIIPP* he collapsed at high speed, on the ground, dazed, but still conscious. Asoud fell beside him. But what of Al-Krasini, there squad leader? he seemed to have been fine. Aha, he hid behind a blown out car that was right behidn them, when the shots were fired. He looked closer, no, he had not hid, he was also shot in the thigh, bleeding profously, he was simply leaning up against it. Molchenski, where was he to be seen, still far behind, he was ont he roof of the building, so granted he took longer getting down, taht and his rifle was more valuable then ours, he saved his. There he was, coming out of the back end alley, he looked fine. Al-Krasini noticed him and exchanged some words, Yurkiw couldnt make out what they were saying, but Al-Krasini seemed toa gree on something. The, to Yurkiw's suprise, Molchenski pulled out a silenced pistol, and shot Al-Krasini in the heart! had this been the agreement they were discussing a moment ago, that was infinitely far away from the now late Al-Krasini. He then turned around, checked out Asoud, hmm, already dead, the artery must have cut. Too bad, good man he said. Now Molchenski moved to me, he faced me, he asked, can you walk? how do you feel? Yurkiw said, im good, though my knee is missing somewhat. Then, before Yurkiw could say anything further, he simply whispered "Srebniya forever" and put one right between his eyes. He then walked away, a truck carrying two more individuals rolled by, coincidently, Molchenski thought, because there was no arranged pickup, but it was one of theres, so he hopped in, and drove following the moon, in the back of a war torn pickup, clutching his .50 caliber Druganov, hostering his pistol and putting away the Druganov's massive silencer, a days worth of work and blood was made.
International Terrans - May 3, 2005 12:32 AM (GMT)
SECRET IC:
International Terrans Security and Intelligence Agency
Office of the Director
"You have your orders."
"But sir - !"
"No buts. You know how much the situation has escalated in the Adriatic region, and we need people on the ground to monitor the situation. Consider everyone a potential threat: we have no allies. International Terrans will remain non-aligned, but we want the best intelligence possible."
"Alright, sir."
"Monitor military movements, diplomatic changes, even chatter in the streets - everything. And for Christ's sake, make sure you don't get caught!"
The five agents gathered there nodded. For the purposes of their missions, they would be known (sterotypically enough) as #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5.
"Dismissed. Good luck - and come back in one piece."
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - May 3, 2005 03:17 AM (GMT)
Secret IC: There was one person left from the 48 man team not captured or extracted. This person was to continue to remain gathering more intel on the extremist Islamic movements. Disgusting to kill so many civilians when just the three would have sufficed, so much for tact, the person was thinking. With the liscence plates and description of the Islamic extremeists truck and people in it joted down, a phone call was made to MUSS. All that was stated was the information using a modified cell phone to change the voice along with "If you're good enough, you'll track them down."
The Kingdom of Slavpo - May 3, 2005 04:11 AM (GMT)
I think we should be all seriously concerned with the nation of Mostarvia. It appears to be constitutive of rather subversive elements, or at least that's the representation its representatives are constructing.
Edessia - May 4, 2005 12:00 AM (GMT)
Molchenski thought to himself, as he got out of the truck in the middle of nowhere it seemed, taking a drag on his stolen cigarettes, he thought solemnly "who were those shooters?" "Hmm, not MUSS, couldnt be, none of them had silencers there, and I'm pretty well aquinted with MUSS disguises, used to be one, but that was eons ago." I hope it wasnt because of the jerry cans of gasoline i exploded. I mean many civlians burned, but there all Mostarvians! and Infidels! weren't they? I hope so. Oh well, time to shave off this beard, and move back under ground. *snap* *crunch* "what the hell? branches...oh shit.." *scrambles into the bushes, unnoticed* "No time for the sniper rifle, gettign that silencer on is a bitch, i'll ahve to rely on my pistol, handy thi...'where's my pistol!?!' 'fuck! i left it in the truck!' Ok, its time for the knife, and stealth." An unknown pursuer comes by in front of him, and he is suddenly yanked in towards the hollow where molchenski was standing, then his throat was quietly slit open twice. He is let down softly, and Molchenski takes his weaponary. Molchenski thought to himself "Damn. Definately not MUSS, these guns are way more western then the MUSS. It's silenced, and its an assualt rifle, thats good. As Molchenski was rifling through the body, and picking up the clips, two other men were approaching, molchenski slid quickly away, but was noticed. *shouts in a different slavic language* * a shot or two were fired, one grazed Molchenski's shoulder. Molchenski fires back and nails both, he thought "Ah. How much better to know where your enemies are, and have a visual, so sweet." more slavic shouts were heard and then the sound of a truck starting and moving, it seems they have gone away. Molchenski breathed a sigh of relief, and waited for the noise of the truck to dissapate until it was gone. He then came out of the hollow, and checked out the corpses, either MUSS has changed since he left 11 months ago, or that wasnt MUSS. Either way, he found a cellphone, threw out the memory card and satelite trackers and dialed for a ride, and re-inforcements to pick him up and take away the equipment gathered. He later crushed the the cellphone under his heel as a ride rolled up and comrades poured out to take the stuff and secure the area, Molchenski was on his way home, at least it was a different vehicle this time. He told the driver to get the truck repainted and re-registered, the one that was used now and before. He rode off into the twilight, it was 4:50AM and he was tired, too much blood for today.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - May 4, 2005 01:58 AM (GMT)
The person stood in a square listening to the latest from Mostar Radio along with the rest of the citizens of Mostar on their way to work or on their way home from nightshifts, "5 hours ago, in Stolac, 40 kilometres southeast of Mostar, three men were found murdered. Two were killed by gunshot and one killed by having his throat slit in two places. They had no weapons on them, and had no identification. A total of five bullets were found in two of the corpses and the bullets have been taken for ballistic tests. All that is known at this time is that they are not of Mostar calibre. It is suspected there was foul play at the hands of the renments of SIG or some other extremist Islamic group who are fools enough to think they can challenge the might of Mostar unity and power or even agents of other nations. If anyone has seen any suspucious persons or Muslims between Mostar and Stolac within the past 24 hours, they are to call MostarPol at the soonest possible time...."
Edessia - May 4, 2005 02:51 PM (GMT)
Molchenski heard of his deeds on his pocket radio as he walked amongst the village the rebels held, he thought to himself "excellent, let them know it was the Muslim that brought down the extremists!" then he had an after-thought as he watched the blueish gray smoke rise, swirl and dissapate from his cigarette, they dont know who to look for but, any closer and a lot of good men could be caught...this bloodshed, it never seems to end, my enemies, my brothers, why wont it end? As he took his drag off his cigarette he said "I know why: they wont give us our rightful nation! they keep us under tight chains! and expect us not to struggle and fight for freedom! under there barbwire rule that is shreading our people!" a few people looked up at him, a couple cheered, but gloom predominateed the landscape that surrounded their souls. He knew what he had to do, as he dropped his cigarette to the worn, earth ground outside, and crushed it under his heel. He went towards his dwelling, put on a new bulletproof vest and went to prepare his sniper rifle...
-Mostarvia- - May 5, 2005 12:13 PM (GMT)
Secret IC:
There had been chaos, blood-letting, and murder in Mostar, capital of Mostarvia, and in Stolac, but everything was under control to the experienced, professional and ruthless MUSS.
A helpful tip from an anonymous phone call, but revealed by tracers to be of Slavic Byzantium origin, had offered to lead MUSS to the truck carrying the terrorists, but this was unneeded.
Mostarvian Satellites had picked up the shootings in Mostar square as they happened, and had been tracking the two seperate groups of gunmen ever since and their fates. A foreign helicopter had been picked up by the satellites flying people out of Mostarvia, but MUSS had not interfered, despite the Mostarvian Armed Forces screaming for the helicopter to be blown out of the sky, instead MUSS having the authority to be remaining on a Analytical Investigation Field Level with the President's seal without interference, for all that was happening was most interesting for intelligence gathering, and was leading MUSS to a seemingly developing plot within Mostarvia's borders.
The bodies of the dead terrorists in Mostar had been secured by MUSS and were now undergoing investigation.
From there, guided by the satellites, they had watched the events in Stolac, of the one terrorist fighting off the second group, and escaping from them.
MUSS were at the same time, one step ahead and one step behind in the fact that by being one step behind they were one step ahead, viewing the incidents as they unfolded on Satellite.
Thus, so it was that MUSS Agents had descended athletically from black stealthly silent MUSS Helicopters, dressed in combat gear, including advanced body Kevlar, advanced weaponry and Night Vision, Infra Red, and Heat seeking googles that made them look like something from outer space, or something from a horror movie.
To the poor bastard suffering from gunshot wounds and still breathing unlike his two comrades, killed by the lone terrorist, MUSS were literally something out of a horror movie, and he whimpered at the realisation and consequences of he still being alive when he saw the two MUSS Agents standing over him.
"MediVac." Said one MUSS Agent in a cold, unemotional tone. He referred to the MUSS Helicopters onboard medical facility for captured enemies of Mostarvia captured in operations, to keep them alive for...questioning.
"What a joy for us you are still alive. What a shame for you, you are still alive." The MUSS Agent continued, his voice unemotional, his facial features hard, partially hidden behind the tri vision goggles.
Of course, the man captured would be reported as dead, so that interrogation would be uninterrupted in what be undoubted interest by the international stage. Indeed, Slavic Byzantium would already be denying his existence, to avoid exposure and so it was Mostarvia had free reign with the captured man without the world having knowledge.
It was the 5th Slavic Byzantium operative caught in a single day, counting the two caught earlier in the day in Mostar square, and the two apprehended by a vigilant taxi driver in Mostar as they left Mostar square. Undoubtedly, they would be more, and there was.
The 5th captured Slavic Byzantium operative was taken away, and cared for at a secret location in MUSS custody.
Now, the last terrorist was being observed by satellite in a small village, and as the MUSS Helicopters moved in, the hunted man was quite unaware, busy putting on kevlar and setting up his weaponry.
"Actual Visual" stated a MUSS Agent leaning out of one of the helicopters, Tranq Sniper rifle in his professional and steady hands.
"Take him down" Ordered a calm voice in his earpiece.
The tranq rifle's dart left the barrel, thrusting through the air as the lone terrorist on the ground turned, turned just in time as the tranq dart pierced the flesh of his neck, injecting a tranq on the right balance not to kill him, but to render him unconcious and neutralised from further combat field oppurtunities.
The terrorist lay prone as the MUSS Agents descended from their helicopters and gathered round him.
"He does not look Srebnyian, neither Slavic Byzantium." Observed one MUSS Agent in a cold observing manner.
"Let us not assume. Let us Accumulate." said a second MUSS Agent in a unemotionless tone.
"Indeed." replied the first MUSS Agent, now looking with disdain at the inferior weaponry of the terrorist compared to the Mostarvian arsenal.
The captured terrorist was taken to MUSS HQ in Mostar, for further.....interrogation.
Edessia - May 6, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
OOC: is it jsut me or or does Msotarvia god mod way too much, like it really sucked the fun out of this, suddenly, with no lead up or anything to the plot, my cahracter is in his hut and he gets sniper tranqqed and dragged away msyteriously, by who? how? what were the events or anyhthing? nothing, just the UBERNESS of everything Mostarvia capped 5 Slavic Byzantium's very well trained agents who have a reputation of not getting caught, somehow, inexplicably do get caught by the godliness of MUSS in one day and my character, who, in a windowless hut( ididnt say there were windows, you cant tell) gets sniper tranqed and dragged away, like what the fuck!? Also, i never see Mostarvia move around or take effort to find anyone, its always liekt here everywhere, right there in the thick of it, and they always somehow happen to watch it, like on satelite, you cant tell me 2 shootings with silnced weapons(which reduce noise and flare and heat signature, and real guns produce flare every like 40-50 shots, its rather rare, unlike in games) like a total of 5 bullets were caught by a SPY SATELITE! bah. Stupid the whoel rp, my character and slavic byzantiums, are completely obleiterated in one post. fuck.

OOC: Think it like this. Mostarvia's military budget is way, way, way ahead of the USA's in RL, meaning advanced weaponry, intell, and post modern satellite resources.
It is very easy to accuse me of godmodding when in fact you ran around killing Mostarvian citizens (in, if traced back to Edessia by MUSS, would have been a declaration of war) without asking my express permission in Mostar Square.
If I have godmodded, which I don't think I have done, then in any case I have, it is to contain your recklessness in RPing to avoid an all out war. In Covert Ops, you don't make yourself known by going around mass killing people like you have. You have to be clandestine, otherwise, the nation you are in will have their security services all over you.
As it is, MUSS are all over and sniffing up the arse of people who decided to cause a massacre in Mostar Square, it is not going to be ignored by them.
The four SB agents caught originally from what I can gather, were not from the same SB Agency that has a reputation for not being caught, and the 5th one caught was a left over of the fight with the terrorist you were RPing.
You did not say anything about a windowless hut, you simply said "dwelling". You did not say "He went to and walked into his windowless dwelling" you said "He went towards his dwelling" which is vital and critical. You again did not say "he walked into his dwelling" but "He went towards his dwelling" meaning he had not made it to his dwelling when the MUSS arrived.
To say now it was a windowless hut he was in when you said nothing of the sort originally, is an attempt to try and deny my RP and thus, is in itself, a godmod on your behalf.
I have not obliterated the RP nor all of the foreign secret agents within Mostarvia, but I think you are obliterating it by complaining just because your armed terrorists running around in Mostarvia are rounded up as a result of heightened interest following A) Sat Intell and B) Mass killing which invokes MUSS interest anyway.
To be honest Edessia, I think you should really learn to calm down when posting. You come across as very aggressive, even to the point of complaining that Mostarvia was the number one pro-market nation on the regional HQ.
FFS mate, stop being so uptight! It's just a game, and there are far more things in RL that are shitty than not having your own way in a game.
I guessed some time ago you have also had a little grudge against me ever since ICly, I kicked up a fuss about your nuclear tests which you denied that they were when they looked for all the world they were.
But I don't care about these things to be honest, I have far more things IRL to worry about then someone who bears a grudge for a move made in a game.

dude im not god-modding, i killed three people with current tech weaponary, then shot a gas can and 3 others, thats highly in the realm of possibility, specially by islamic extremeists, but not non-descrpit events that use unorthodox and outrageously extensive and all consuming methods for doing the simplest of jobs, like a satellite manages to finds a few silenced gunshots from way above the earth, and im trying to keep this in real life, not like USA x 1234567890 to the power of 5678349 budget greater. like, seriously guy, besides story plot and character building was happening with me and SB, but in one post you took all our characters down, within a mere sentence, and then sent them into interrogation, effectively ending all role-play, story build-up and character devleopment as they are in arrested situation, not much u can do there but sit tied down to a chair, and if im in such a highly advanced organization like MUSS, escape or anything other then blithering stupidity in a chair is impossible, because 45 agents will blow my head off in 4.3 seconds with new age weaponary. Thats god modding and generally bad RP, (honestly play some DnD with a skilled people and veteran magic card players, you'll see good rp then), not an unaffiliated group killing 6 people and collateral with gas cans nearby.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - May 7, 2005 05:12 AM (GMT)
"A helpful tip from an anonymous phone call, but revealed by tracers to be of Slavic Byzantium origin, had offered to lead MUSS to the truck carrying the terrorists, but this was unneeded."
I like to think a Rogers or Fido or Telus or Mostar based cellular service cannot be determined to be of a certain nation's origin.
"Mostarvian Satellites had picked up the shootings in Mostar square as they happened, and had been tracking the two seperate groups of gunmen ever since and their fates. A foreign helicopter had been picked up by the satellites flying people out of Mostarvia, but MUSS had not interfered, despite the Mostarvian Armed Forces screaming for the helicopter to be blown out of the sky, instead MUSS having the authority to be remaining on a Analytical Investigation Field Level with the President's seal without interference, for all that was happening was most interesting for intelligence gathering, and was leading MUSS to a seemingly developing plot within Mostarvia's borders."
My teams were nowhere near the shooting, they were of even a greater distance than the original shooters that they were keeping tabs on. I do find it quite difficult to believe a satellite could track people shooting from cover without knowing the direction, or what to look for. Although dumb luck is conceivable, I still do not see it.
"Thus, so it was that MUSS Agents had descended athletically from black stealthly silent MUSS Helicopters, dressed in combat gear, including advanced body Kevlar, advanced weaponry and Night Vision, Infra Red, and Heat seeking googles that made them look like something from outer space, or something from a horror movie.
The 5th captured Slavic Byzantium operative was taken away, and cared for at a secret location in MUSS custody."
Now this here confuses the living hell out of me. Are you saying that my final guy got shot? Are you saying you somehow knew where he was? At first I thought you were refering to the Islamic terrorist with the slight wound but then out of nowhere you said the person was SB...none of my my men were ever wounded save for the 2 in the taxi. That one man never worked with 2 other people. You're either missing ltos of paragraphs or something because you're rewfering to the one that was shot by his follow men in the streets of Mostar I am assuming but then you say teh man captures would not be recognized by me...how did that happen? I'm sorry but I just am not going to recognize that my guy was even suspected of being anyone but a regular Mostar citizen until this gets explained to me in greater detail, especially the cell phone thing and the last thing.
I do show slight concerns of you making things a bit close to godmodding, but I will not accuse you of it. I think you might be making things like that unintentionally and my real qualm is sheer confusion with the last thing I quoted from your latest IC in this thread.
I am also inclined to agree with Mostar a bit, this really should not be something wehre we get too pissed off at it. I was initially angered, but there is no point to it. I have no problems with my first 4 guys going because I left it too open to the possibility, it's jsut this 5th one that brings sheer confusion to my mind.
-Mostarvia- - May 7, 2005 11:06 AM (GMT)
The wounded SB Agent was one of those which the Islamic extremist (that Edessia RPed) reportedly killed after being cornered. I was assuming they were SB Agents.
Accuse me of godmodding if you want, I don't really give a shit. Worrying about it is not high on my list of life's priorities ok? I just won't bother RPing FFS.
Edessia - May 7, 2005 07:13 PM (GMT)
well yeah they prolly were SB agents, but, still that post tried to liek do everything in one and effectively ended the story, kinda like taking a burger out of someones mouth and throwing it in the trash when they are half way through, becuase you have leave. Roleplaying is like an art, it seems like everyone can do it, and if they try they can, but it can take a lot of practice.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - May 8, 2005 03:38 AM (GMT)
Uhh nope I clear had them keep their distance at all times and I only made mention of the final guy standing in Mostar with everyone else going to work etc for the radio broadcast.
Perhaps we could rework it and move on?
-Mostarvia- - May 8, 2005 11:17 AM (GMT)
So, who were the blokes the terrorist controlled by Edessia was attacked by, and who the lone terrorist killed?
Ok, let's move on....I won't use my advanced satellites so much, although I reserve the right to use them.
Edessia, my idea to let this carry on if for whatever plan you had for your lone terrorist/militant should be carried out by a back-up, because obviously a terrorist/militant cell would have one in case there was disruption.
SB, I'm sure you have more agents too.
I'll give you more breathing space, but I will say that MUSS are highly professional and won't miss much, although I may not be so 'lightning strike' in method.
Our disagreement about the capture of the agents can be turned to IC denial of their existence, as would happen in RL espionage.
Ok.
Carry on IC.
Edessia - May 8, 2005 04:51 PM (GMT)
Ok good idea, My lone terrorist dude will still be in his hut and he'll prolly get a few new people to follow him from his village, then, also there could be the fact that his truck got trashed and a few militants captured but not him. I'll continue later in the week its mother's day today so ill be busy.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - May 9, 2005 12:10 AM (GMT)
My team shot some MUSS agents in the knees that were darting after Edessia's terrorists. They then left to a pickup spot wher ehte entire 48 man team minus 5 people would be picked up to depart. 4 were captured, 1 was meant to stay merely to observe the Islamic terrorist movements in secrecy.
Nope, had no intention of using more agents for quite some time until more things that happened in Srebnya came to light such as maybe there were some massacres, maybe it was false intel etc and then bringing them in.
