Title: The fate of Andoran Mohammed Tasnovic revealed.
Description: The former leader of SIG
-Mostarvia- - April 16, 2005 12:34 PM (GMT)
Secret IC:
*Location: Sarejevo Castle, in eastern Mostarvia.
Time: 11:50am*
The elderly, bent over, balding and dribbling man sat on a wooden chair in a large stone room, his figure facing a Video Camera, surrounded by a mini studio.
He wears a featureless grey sweater and sweatpants that hang off him as if miles too big for his slight figure.
We look at the old figure's face, estimating him by his condition to be around 90 years old.
But then we recognise the face. A face that we saw on a figure, a figure who was the leader of The Srebnyian Islamic Guard-
"Just look into the camera Andoran, and say what we told you to say, that's a good boy." says a kind male voice, in the tone of an adult talking to a toddler.
The voice belonged to General Havor Nilanovic, who stood out of range of the camera. He was dressed in full Soviet-style official army dress, and in his mid 40's. He held his hands behind his back and he turned to another man who was dressed in similar dress beside him but younger in age.
"You've obviously heard Srebnyia City fell to us?" Nilanovic enquired.
"Yes General, yes I did. A great victory for Mostarvia." replied Corporal Gravic timidly.
"Inevitable of course," Nilanovic carried on as if Gravic had not spoken, "there could have been no other outcome to it."
"Yes General, you are-" Gravic began.
"We have them on the run!" Nilanonic exclaimed in a tone barely above a whisper but all the same, enthusiastic as he returned his gaze to the broken form of Tasnovic, "They are fleeing before the might of Mostarvia! Nothing can help them now! Their resistance is useless! Akin to they flinging themselves against a wall of steel! They are crushed and we continue, marching on and on and on, reclaiming what is ours, eradicating all those who wish to pervese the union. We are indomnitable, my dear Gravic, we really are. Nothing can stop us. Not hell, fire or thunder. Victory, is within our grasp....no, we are victorious, we just have to squeeze our fist a little more to squeeze the poison out. That poison, is like this pathetic creature before us. Look at your enemy turned dogsbody, my dear Gravic, and look at him well. He is the future, the destiny of all those who oppose us and survive not to live to tell the tale, but the one of the futility of opposing The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia!"
Gravic was speechless at Nilanovic's rant, his mouth slightly agape at Nilanovic, who did not appear to notice, his eyes glassy and staring at who used to be the leader of The Srebnyia Islamic Guard.
"Will we shoot him afterwards?" Gravic said finally and barely above a whisper.
"What? Kill him? Have him matyred for his followers to worship his passing into paradise, encouraging them to take heart?! Are you mad?!" Nilanovic spat, turning on Gravic, disgusted at his question, "No, we keep him alive, he serves us now. Oh, he resisted our methods, he really did, but we broke him down, surely and certainly with finality, we crushed his rebellion." Nilanovic proclaimed triumphantly before continuing. "We broke him down, bit by bit, little by little. The final result being we cleansed his very soul, if there is such a thing. We hollowed him out, like squeezing all the toothpaste out of the tube.
The toothpaste being his indentity, that was squeezed out and erased out of existence. We put in our toothpaste, our identity, and he is ours now. All of him is ours. He does our every whim, our every doing. We annhilated who he was, and created who he is now. A servant of us all. It is brilliant architecture, don't you think?" Nilanovic said to Gravic brightly, turning his gaze to him.
"Excellent craftsmanship. His mind is dependent on our thought, and even if told to betray Mostarvia, he won't. We have instilled that toothpaste of ours so deep, so ingrained, to him so compassionate, that he would never be perverse again. His body took the toll of our strength of course, but we can look into that, rebuild him physically, to match the perfection of his mind to our needs. Can you imagine Gravic? Can you imagine what it would be like to do this to every enemy of ours we captured, hollow them out, scrape them of all their indentity, to replace with ours, perfect their mind to our want and need, then their body also? We could turn them into our own army, an army of non dissenting drones, willing to do our very bidding! The prospects are beautiful, just beautiful. Imagine the reaction of The Srebnyian Islamic Guard, when they see their leader changed, converted to our whim. It will destroy them, it will prove their fanatical belief is not enough, it can not defeat Mostarvia, nothing can. Imagine more of them being captured and hollowed out and refilled, former diehard fighters dedicated to their Jihad, crushed and changed - forever, eternal. To see them changed, to see their would be martyrs not be matyred but to be made drones, it will demoralise them, annhilate them before we even fired a bullet at them. No dead to immortalise! Only the living that shall make them despair at their loss of belief in their pitiful cause. The only problem I see is that we keep killing them, The Armed Forces of Mostarvia is too good at that, one could say." Nilanovic concluded in a downbeat tone.
Gravic was silent, before omitting a nervous laughter. "Indeed, General, indeed." you are quite clearly mad. Gravic thought silently.
"Ready" The Cameraman called over to General Nilanovic from behind the lens.
"Ah, excellent. Are we ready Andoran?" Nilanovic said in a tone reserved for children.
"Yesh, Mr Nilanovic." said Andoran Mohammed Tasnovic, looking up at Nilanovic from his chair with droopy eyes and a dozy smile.
"Good boy Andoran, when I say 'action' you can proceed." Nilanovic said, smiling and revealing a perfect row of teeth.
"Ooookay." Andoran replied, sounding like a tired child.
"Action!" Nilanovic said loudly in a cheerful tone.
Andoran Mohammed Tasnovic began speaking to the camera, behind his figure being a neutral grey coloured screen.
"Thish is Andoran Mohammed Tasnovic, leader of The Srebnyian Islamic Guard.
I appeal to my brothers and sisters in arms to lay down their weapons and surrender to the Armed forces of Mostarvia. It is Allah's will that we do so, and so it is Allah's will that we should.
Let us not go against Allah. Allah tested us in this war, and we failed. The judgement of our actions shall be decided by doing what is Allah's will now.
Any who continue resisting Mostarvia shall have turned their face away from Allah and Allah's will, and will be subject to Allah's wrath.
The war is over.
Victory comes in following Allah's will, in surrendering to Mostarvia.
I am Andoran Mohammed Tasnovic, leader of The Srebnyian Islamic Guard, andf Allah willing, victory will be ours.
Allahu Ackhbar!"
"And..CUT!" Nilanovic shouted excitedly before turning to Gravic. "We will give copies of this video to all the major TV networks, and make sure the Srebnyia Islamic Guard see them, obviously."
"Obviously." Gravic repeated in a flat tone.
"Did...I...did I do weeeelllll?" Tasnovic slurred, hunched over whilst looking up at Nilanovic.
"Andoran! You did wonderfully, we are all very proud of you, you good boy!" Nilanovic reverted to that adult to child tone as he walked up to Tasnovic.
"Do you want a biscuit?" Nilanovic continued.
"Plesh." Tasnovic replied, dribbling.
Nilanovic dug into the pocket of his tunic, producing a round, brown biscuit, before handing it to Tasnovic.
"Than koo" Tasnovic gurgled, as he took a bite of the biscuit.
"You are very welcome" Nilanovic said kindly, before reverting back to his normal tone as he addressed an assortment of Mostarvian soldiers nearby. "Take him back to his accomodations."
"Yes sir!" said one of the Mostarvian soldiers as they picked up the frail figure of Tasnovic, who dropped his biscuit by accident as they dragged him through a side door and dissapeared.
Nilanovic held his arms once more behind his back and turned once more to Gravic. "Do you know what's for Lunch, by any chance?"
Gravic was taken aback. "I, uh-"
"Ah that's right, roast Goose. Goodness knows I love Goose. I do hope there's stuffing."

OOC: It's 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' all over again. BTW, LOL @ 'toothpaste'.
Edessia - April 16, 2005 11:16 PM (GMT)
What has happened to Tasnovic is a social injustice, they have outright broken this man, and have most likely tortured him physically and mentally. Mostarvia also seems proud of what they have done to this man "hallowed him out" i believe is the term, they have commit a social injustice and a crime against humanity and are proud of it. Beware, General, President and regime of Mostarvia, the dogs of justice are waiting!
USSM (Makharovsk) - April 17, 2005 10:11 AM (GMT)
A shame the BICJ has no jurisdiction over Mostarvia, Tasnovic should have been tried there. Regardless, so long as it can be proved that he was a terrorist leader, he deserved everything he got. We don't find the lack of a trial cause for concern, either. Outside of the BICJ, no fair trial could have been held; after all, what jury would excuse the actions of this man.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 19, 2005 04:18 AM (GMT)
It's not excusing the actions but choosing the so directed punishment that disgusts us.
*spits onto the ground* What good are the dogs of justice when they have no teeth to follow through with their barking?
Our military forces will continue its maneuvers in the Adriatic. We have the teeth needed and we will use them if no one else is willing to.

OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:
If you wish to be the dogs of your so called justice, which is a justice ill sought and of non existence in it's theory, then you will all be shot like the dogs you are when the time comes.
Mostarvian military forces remain on immeadiate readiness.
Tasnovic has been cured of his illness, as will all of the other terrorists who followed his lead.
The USSM, on this occasion at least, understands the situation.

Gurich - April 19, 2005 03:20 PM (GMT)
Although the people ofGurich are up in arms to eliminate all involved in this fiasco, even the Mostarvians. They wait to see what will become of this situation, should the SIG in fact surrender as they are told then perhaps the people may be calmed. If not, then I fear they may go on a rage and attempt to slaughter the people of the SIG, and perhaps even Mostarvia for allowing this to happen. I do not have the power to stop this. I might also mention that The entire population of Gurich is a trained militia. I don't want all of my people running off to merry murder any more than anyone else does, but should the Council and Auditors concur, there is no stopping it. I assure you, that is a great many trained and armed men and women.
USSM (Makharovsk) - April 19, 2005 06:41 PM (GMT)
Since Tasnovic was conducting his terrorism against Mostarvia, surely it's only fair that Mostarvia decides his punishment, as long as the BICJ has no jurisdiction over Mostarvia?
However, please note that our government intends to fully investigate the possibility of genocide in Srebnyia.
-Mostarvia- - April 20, 2005 10:30 AM (GMT)
OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:
Mostarvians on the street and in the fields are angry with Gurich for not properly securing weapons and explosives seized by the terrorists that were then used against them.
If the people of Gurich wish to fight, I can assure that Mostarvians wish to also, and are taking to the streets voicing the fact that they will make it their policy to kill every person of Gurich nationality until they are eradicated and cleansed from the earth in a lash out of anger at the rumour being whispered that Gurich were involved with the terrorists due to their dereliction of security of weaponry. A pay-off for corrupt guards perhaps? To make them go walkies whilst the heist took place?
Every Mostarvian is armed, and every Mostarvian is baying for blood for those they see as the enemy.
I see continuing threats by Gurich as being one step away from a declaration of war, when in fact, Mostarvia should have punished Gurich for allowing weaponry to fall into terrorist's hands in a rather suspicious manner.
This, and the threats by Gurich lead us to suspect many things, about the heist. An excuse manufactured to wage war on Mostarvia perhaps? You will be defeated. You will be crushed. You will be owned.
Mostarvians thrashed those of Germanic matter many, many years ago, and by the bridge of Mostar, we shall do it again for what is believed to be collusion with terrorists.
Still no matter. The terrorists are being erased, and cured as the progression goes.
President of Mostarvia Vladovar Vladovic
Gurich - April 20, 2005 10:24 PM (GMT)
Despite Mostarvia's foolish illusion that they are capable of even matching Gurich's might, which they cannot. Tell me, did you know that every child in Gurich is trained in combat from the age of 6? Every 6 months every Gurite performs a refresher camp program. Every household is supplied with two automatic rifles and ammunition. Every singele member of our populace is a member of the trained militia. Is this what you want to come up against? I doubt it. There are few things as deadly as streetfighting when you know that every single house is more than likely to hold a family of armed and combat trained militiamen ready to ambush you. Mostarvia makes claims that they have the ability to crush Gurich almost without effort without thinking about what they come up against.
Before this all began I did not want war personally, in fact I feared it. But Mostarvia's continued insults to Gurich's honour begin to make me agree with my people. Mostarvia's foolishness in not crushing a terrorist uprising before it began has left us with little respect left for the nation.
I assure you my friend, there are hidden caches of weapons and materiel all over Gurich, most of them we have not been able to catalogue and properly guard, simply because of numbers. Think before you speak.
As for Makharovsk, Gurich has no opinion where they stand and does not truly care. As far as we are concerned, this is between us and Mostarvia. Other nations can be with us or against us, we care little.
OOC: Yeah, I'm being pretty hypocritical, but this is a brewing conflict. Oh and Thracia, don't worry. I don't think either of us want to be booted out of the region, cold wars in general involve the trading of almost continual insults.
-Mostarvia- - April 21, 2005 09:50 AM (GMT)
Official Mostarvian Government Statement
The Gurich appear to be under the foolish notion that a six year old Gurich will be a match for the professional Mostarvian soldier!
Are these the people of the Germanic identity who once claimed they were a superior race?
The forces of Communism defeated you then, and they will defeat you again if need be.
You do not think that every Mostarvian household has weaponry? Well, they do. Assault rifles, heavy machine guns, sniper rifles, anti-tank weaponry, explosives.
Mostarvians are trained in combat from the age of 5 and sometimes younger to engage in combat, so that when they reach 12 they are highly efficient in combat, and superior to any enemy on the battlefield when they reach adulthood.
Is that what you want to come up against? The adult Mostarvian soldier, trained to show no remorse, no mercy, no feeling but hate towards the enemy? In mass numbers? I doubt it.
Streetfighting is the Mostarvian's expertise in warfare, that and killing and victory. Against an enemy, we would wipe a street clean of such filth.
It is Gurich's continuing insults towards Mostarvians that have led to this, which proves Gurich have no honour to speak of.
My people despise you for what they believe is Gurich collusion with terrorists, and I agree with them.
In a war between Mostarvia and Gurich, Mostarvia will always be victorious.
So, think before you utter soundings from your serpent tongue, and don't speak at all.
You will care alot when the Armed Forces of Mostarvia knock at your capital's door, vermin.
President of Mostarvia Vladovar Vladovic
