The Edessian King Raymond has issued a statement today that the Edessian Parliament has been re-opened after its recent freeze by the new Monarchy. The Edessian Government now consists of the King and the Royal Families, including an advisory board to the King, made up of the Old Royal Family, that safeguards the constitution. Since Edessia, never really having a Monarchy, except in the days of yore, long long ago, when the nation first began, new titles of Nobility have been granted to the mixed reaction of many individuals. But with cheer and glee today, the Parliament has been reformed to include a Parliament, with a One house legislative assembly, instead of the Four house legislative assembly that existed prior to the Monarchy. The one house consists of a mix of representatives such as Princes, Nobles and common people, all, including Royalty have to run and be elected in the same way as everyone else, for 5 year terms. The country has legalised parties again, and there are many old and many new. An election will start soon to determine the new Prime Minister and determine the seat division amongst the parties. For now the Prime Minister is the former Prime Minister, Peter Rychlik, who previous to this was retired from politics, but runs a successful ironworks corporation. He will be representing Edessia, along with the Two Kings and the RUDF commander to the Peace Summit. Non Partisan acting representatives were chosen to fill the seats of the parliament temporarly, they consist of former politicans and current politicans that were in power prior to the freeze and dissolvement. These people shall only be around until the results of the Federal Election come in.
