Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - March 30, 2005 02:57 PM (GMT)
Balkans News Networks update on Mostarvian catastrophe,
We are here in the Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium's Parliament in one of the sister capitals of Constantinople where His Royal Majesty Goran Constantine has called an emergency convening of the parliament to discuss what has just happened 50 minutes ago where HRM is addressing the Mostarvian Ambassador to Slavic Byzantium
HRM: "We are compeltely shocked to see such an explosion occur in the capital of Mostarvia. We offer our most sincere condolences to you and your nation as a whole and we offer any and all humanitarian assistance that Mostarvia requires as our Disaster Assistance Relief Team is undergoing full mobilization and we expect it to be ready for immeadiate deployment within the next few hours."
Edessia - March 30, 2005 03:54 PM (GMT)
Look, the RUDF and us are ready to assist, quell and control the rise of violence in Mostarvia. You only have to let us, we, as much as you, honestly want this violence to stop (though you do a pretty kick ass RP). Please, let us contribute somehow physically, whether through aid or additional forces, perhaps you could let the RUDF handle the forces side of it, allowing you to commit more resources to investigations and aid work. Contact us. HRH King Balthazar out.
Two Sicilies - March 30, 2005 10:19 PM (GMT)
The people of le Due Sicilia would like to send their condolences to those affected by the recent acts of terrorism in Mostar. We are prepared to offer any humanitarian aid requested by Mostarvia.
Katja of Zahumlje - March 30, 2005 11:46 PM (GMT)
Excellencies: First of all our sympathies to those in Mostarvia who are injured or who have lost loved ones as a result of these terrible attacks. We want to offer aid, if Mostarvia is willing to accept it. We can send it to a third party Nation if Mostarvia would prefer that.
As well we want it very clear to all concerned, Zahumlje had nothing to do with the explosions in the capital of Mostarvia. We have plenty to occupy ourselves with in Zahumlje. We really hope the Mostarvians do not accuse Zahumlje any further, if there are further accusations there will be penalties. If there is any attack there will be consequences. Just want this clear in the mind of President Vlahovic and whoever may be adviseing him at the present time.

Fellow Brothers,
DART has been fully mobilized with all equipment loaded onto three RSBAF(Royal Slavic Byzantium Air Force) Ilyushin Il-76MF(CoSB designation: SB-76S) airlifters and personnel ready for takeoff within 15 minutes of the go ahead from the Mostarvian government to its capital city for immeadiate assistance.
We also wish to know if any bodies have been recovered of people whose nationality is Slavic Byzantium, a certain number SB citizens have informed our government that their relatives were on trains heading for and leaving from the capital during the time of the bombing and we fear for the well being of our civilians and as a result request immeadiate permission to provide aid. We are less than a hour flight away, make full use of our offer!

OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:I speak on behalf of my president, and the government and people of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia.
Mostarvia was attacked, in it's capital Mostar, by terrorists.
One terrorist boarded a train at Mostar South Train Station, he was loaded with a belt of explosives. The train he was on later passed through Mostar Central Station, passing another train going in the other direction in the process.
It was at this moment we believe the suicide bomber did his murderous work and detonated his explosives, which engulfed the two trains and a portion of the station in a huge fireball.
At latest estimates, 250 people have been murdered. Innocent Mostarvians and innocent foreign nationals including Annoyastani, Edessian, Demoritus, Mount Rainier, Tolomakian and others we can not identify at this stage.
The President's wife, and first lady of Mostarvia, Imelda, and their daughter Helda were on their way to the new President of Mostarvia's innaugration, were in a 4x4 that had a bomb planted on the undercarriage.
The bomb detonated, and I am heartbroken to announce that Imelda Vladovic, wife of President Vladovic, died in the blast along with 20 others, and that the First daughter of Mostarvia, Helda Vladovic, was severely maimed in the blast, rendered blind by shrapnel, and has had to have her legs amputated.
President Vladovic was not near either blast scenes, and is alive.
He is however, heartbroken, hurt, distraught. His heart has been torn apart like that of Mostarvia's, and mourns the loss of life and infliction of injury upon the people of Mostarvia and tourists as a President, a husband, and a father.
He keeps a bedside vigil by that of his 14 year old daughter.
Mostarvia has been attacked once more, but so has other Balkans nations, by an enemy who will stoop to nothing to kill people in indiscriminate ways.
Mostarvia is in pain, but Mostarvia shall prevail.Major General Natasha Menetskovic,
Vice-President of The People's Red Mostar Union of MostarviaOFFICIAL SREBNYIAN ISLAMIC GUARD COMMUNIQUE:The Srebnyian Islamic Guard hereby declares responsibility for the striking of the crushing blow upon Mostarvia upon this day, commited by Allah's will and strength of the believers of Islam and the independence of The Islamic Republic of Srebnyia in vengeance for the continuing persecution by Mostarvians acting upon the orders of their government to deny us the independence we know is recognised by Allah.
Allah willing, we shall continue these attacks in the name of our cause, of Allah. We can not be stopped, and we will not stop until victory is achieved.
Nothing can stop us. Nothing is beyond us. The killing of the new Tyrant's wife and the maiming of his daughter proves this, as well as our slaying of the beast that was Lodovic.
OOC: video of Iraqi insurgents attacking vehicles on road, not gory.
Srebnyian Islamic Guard stops Mostarvian convoy in it's tracks!
A strike for The Srebnyia Islamic Guard and The Islamic Republic of Srebnyia!
We call upon Mostarvia to do what is right and holy, and withdraw from The Islamic Republic of Srebnyia.
Allah willing, victory is ours whatever your choice, be it with more Mostarvian blood spilt, or a Mostarvian retreat bowing to the strength of Allah.
Allah is great!Srebnyian Islamic Guard

We at ZMB are disgusted at the actions of the Srebenijan 'Islamic' Guard, there is nothing Islamic or righteous in their cruel actions and Zahumljani Muslims are disgusted and angry about these terrible events. Even though President Vlahovic is not our favorite person in the world, and we have condemned some of his ideas and opinions, we feel terible about the loss inflicted on Mr. Vlahovic and on ordinary decent people in Mostarvia, some of whom had to have been our Muslim brothers and sisters. We implore the Islamic Guard to stop this insasne course. Already our homeland which wants nothing but peace has been accused of complicity in acts which disgust all Zahumljani, and which bring discredit to all Muslim people. This must stop. If it keeps up there is a possibility that Zahumlje will offer military aid to Mostarvia to help put down the rebellion and terrorism.

The Kingdom of Slavpo - April 2, 2005 04:40 AM (GMT)
We support Zahumlje's stance and we sternly encourage Mostarvia to quell its terrorist organisations and violent sepratist movements with war, as unfortunately is often required. Only after such derminant and definite action is taken by Mostarvija that the nation and region at large can enjoy peace.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 2, 2005 06:19 AM (GMT)
Balkan News Network: Interview with Slavic Byzantium military analyst (ret) Vice Air Marshal Czyrek Medvesck.
*approaching the end of the interview*
BNN Anchorman: One final question Brother Marshal, what do you think of the call to strike down against the Srebnyians with full military force being echoed by multiple nations of The Balkans?"
VAM Medvesck: "Immeadiate retaliation with brute force and heavy weapons will never work to quell terrorism. To use full military force has all too often served only to inflame the supports of it even more so. Counterintelligence, police forces, education, and meeting rebel militia forces with Special Forces units without the firepower of tanks and aircraft will serve to accomplish more than carpet bombing or shelling of suspects areas with civilians in it ever will. It is one thing to use military power against actual military/militia forces, and an entirely different thing when it is a terrorist organization.
Therefore, Mostarvia's best solution is not to seek to use full military force against the so-called Srebnyian Islamic Guard. It should also take care to note that is not to say the attacks should go unpunished, but careful watch of the amount of force must be done. Islamist extremists are by far the worst to deal with given their religion when compared to others, their undying faith to God and want of martyrdom and will to do anything to achieve a place in Paradise makes them a very dangerous foe, and risking civilian casualites will only serve to inflame the people and generate more recruits."
BNN Anchorman: "Thank you for your time Brother Marshal."
VAM Medvesck: "It is always a pleasure and I hope our fellow brothers will heed the call."

OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:
*A dishevelled looking Mostarvian President Vladovar Vladovic appears at the Presidential Podium, at a hastily arranged Press Conference at Mostar House.*
"My...fellow Mostarvians, and neighbouring nations. Our nation, our People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia, has been attacked yet again by KILLERS.
Mostarvians have been slain along with foreign nationals, and my heart is torn apart by this horrible act.
My...people, we have suffered a terrible crime upon us. A crime which shall be avenged.
Mostarvia has been maimed...... like my daughter, and Mostarvia has suffered death.......like my.....wife.
"WE WILL STRIKE DOWN UPON THY ENEMY WITH THY SWORD OF JUSTICE AND THY ENEMY SHALL NOT KNOWETH NO THING BUT PUNISHMENT FOR THEIR CRIMES! THEY BE THE DAMNED, THESE BANDITRY OF KILLERS, AND MOSTARVIA SHALL STRIKE DOWN UPON THEE WITH MUCH JUDGEMENT AND VENGEANCE SAYETH I AND YOU, MY MOSTARVIAN PEOPLE!
.........I have ordered....the brave Mostarvian men and women of the Mostarvian military to carry out Operation: Resolve V.
I shall not go into details of what this mission includes, other than to say the Srebnyian Islamic Guard shall be crushed, eradicated and erased from the face of the earth, their resistance futile as the might of Mostarvia crushes them mercilessly.
I hereby order all media to leave the Srebnyia region of Mostarvia now, for your own safety. The killers shall feel Mostarvian wrath.
Good night.

The Caucasian Satrapy of B.T. - April 2, 2005 08:31 PM (GMT)
"Our government is really worried about the current condition in Mostarvia, the general image of our national religion, Islam; and the total misunderstanding and aggressiveness against our religion. We are aware of the violent terrorist activities in your country, and we wish all our neighboors of the Balkans region to realize the fact that if there happens such terrorist and seperatist activities in Mostarvia, this cannot be judged as any Islamic action or movement. Islam is our holy religion, and we would never let any terrorist activities to happen in the name of our national and religious beliefs. All these governments should realize the importance of this issue, and Islamic image shouldnt be similar to a terrorist view.
Our government wishes all these violence to end soon, but not with a violent or aggressive respond from any governments, since noone should be punished without being judged, and without international justice. We encourage the Mostarvian government to solve this problem without any injustice against any innocent Muslims and we wish Mostarvian government an easy recovery from all these losts. Our government is always ready to help Mostarvian government in any action of a possible independence of this seperatist group."

Balkan News Network: Emergency parliamentary hearing in CoSB live.
BNN Reporter: "Today an emergency meeting of the CoSB's parliament in Constantinople has been called. His Royal Highness, Emperor Constantine XLIII is now addressing the parliament on the decision its parliament has made. We are here live as His Majesty is addressing his nation...."
HRH Constantine XLIII: "...and as such we will immeadiately request the assistance of the RUDF to stop this attempt at genocide. The president of Mostarvia must be relieved of leadership of command of his nation on the basis of him being mentally unstable. We have reason to believe that his decision to invoke "Operation: Resolve V" is based on his personal losses and not meant for the good of his people or the stability of the entire Balkan Region.
What many of you may not know is what this Resolve V is. Leaked documents state that it is meant to do what the President stated; the utter annhilation of the Srebnyian Islamic Guard(SIG). It is to be carried out with extreme prejudice and full force given to do just that with no regard for civilian casualites, hence the banning of all media from Srebnyia in order to prevent worldwide condemnation.
Mostarvia must not be allowed to carry out this act that will obviously cause a total destabilization of the entire region and completly alienate the entirety of the Srebnyian populace. The SIG will only be replaced by soemthing more powerful and sinister than its predacessor. The nations involved in the upcoming inaugeration of the RUDF must act now to stop this horrendous act against humanity. By doing this the President of Mostarvia has become no better than the scum he is determined to wipe off the face of the Earth. By God we will not allow Mostarvia to make such a mistake and we will do everything in our ability to ensure the integrety of Balkan Unity.
The proposed head of central region is being informed as we speak on the status of our military forces and our intention along with our plee for the other RUDF nations to join together and stop the SIG in a way that will ensure no one else will replace them without resorting to genocide or even xenocide.
We demand Mostarvia allow UN and RUDF officials, and the media once more into the Srebnyian region to ensure there are no acts against humanity or anything of the sort occuring along with establishing a Balkan Peacekeeping force consisting of one thousand soldiers of all participating nations to enforce peace and strike down against all aggressors in said region.
The rest of our Rapid Deployment Strike Force has been put on full alert, along with the entirety of our naval and air forces. We are ready to act should Mostarvia ignore the calls of common sense and integrety.
Given the speed Mostarvia is intent on carrying out Resolve V, we give the entire region 24 hours to respond, Mostarvia 36 to back down from Resolve V or at the very least allow observers into the region, and 48 before we will begin taking measures necessary to prevent Mostarvia's President from carrying out such an extreme operation under such conditions as the severe injury of his child and death of his wife.
Along with this we also have no intention of recognizing a sovereign Srebnyian government as it is obvious little to nothing has been done to prevent these attacks on the Srebnyian side.
Thank you Brother Speaker."
Speaker of the House: We will now hear the Official Oppposition..." *cut as camera moves to reporter*
BNN Reporter: "This is not boding too well. We can only hope Mostarvia will not go ahead with this operation of theirs and that this will not lead to full military force against Mostarvia."
Demoritus - April 3, 2005 05:11 PM (GMT)
Greetings,
We deeply condemn this situation in Mostarvia and we're very worried about it. We'll continue looking and analysing it. We're ready to offer any help and aid.. Even our National Army. Mostarvia and its citizens must be protected from such an idiots!
All powers and forces must be forwarded to Mostarvian situtation, because it's not just problem of Mostarvia, it's problem of whole Balkans and we all must help them and improve stability of our glorious region.
Acording to Mostarvian Major General Natasha Menetskovic, our citizens also died in that action, so we are ready to help anyhow. Just let us know what do you need!
Warm regards,
President of TDR Demoritus,
Dusan Petroff.
Thracia - April 3, 2005 11:54 PM (GMT)
Thracia also condemns the recent terrorist bombings in Mostarvia and our nation offers its condolences to all the victims' families.
This conflict in Mostarvia has gone on for too long. It may be time for a region-wide intervention to stop it or resolve it.
Unless or until this happens though we ask all Thracians to leave Mostarvia immediately. Also, we urge all businesses in Thracia that have relations with Mostarvia not to send anyone there.
Thracia is not going to get involved in this conflict unless it receives a regional madate to do so. Our government is determined however to protect Thracina citizens and the Thracian territories form terrorist spill-over. It is for this reason that we will minimize relations and contacts with Mostarvia.
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 5, 2005 04:04 AM (GMT)
Fellow Brothers,
HRH's first deadline is approaching, with 18 hours having passed since the will of the Parliament was carried out there has been no reply of definitate action going to be taken. We once more urge the RUDF to begin immediate preparations to step in preventing the Srebnyians and Mostarvians from making an irreversable mistake. Please do the right thing with us! We are not asking for full out military intervention, we merely want even neutral third party observers to ensure Mostarvia is taking care of the SIG in a non-genocidal extreme prejudice manner. Ideally we would like a peacekeeping force created to enter the region.

OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:
Following the derogatory and insulting, slanderous remarks aimed at myself, the President of Mostarvia by Constantine XLIII of the Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium, I hereby, with the power invested in me by my people and government, classify the Constantine XLIII and the Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium should it agree with his disgraceful tone, as an enemy of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia, and as such, Mostarvia's DEFCOM level shall remain at level 2.
I and my people and government need vocal support for our actions, not slanderous comments.
Any foreign intervention upon Mostarvia's sovereignty will see such an act subject to severe Mostarvian punishment enacted upon it, and those indicted in such an act.
You have been warned. Let it be one that does not fall upon deaf ears, for the sake of peace with Mostarvia.

| QUOTE (Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium @ Apr 4 2005, 10:04 PM) |
| Ideally we would like a peacekeeping force created to enter the region. |
Ministry of DefenceDesk of the Defence MinisterOfficial Statement from the Minister of Defence
Dear Leaders of the Balkans,
We, the government of the Democratic Federation of International Terrans, also believe that a peacekeeping force will inevitably need to be deployed, most infinitely preferably with the approval of the government of Mostarvia. The situation worsens, as the Mostarvian military and people pay ever greater prices for their attempts to crush the Srebnyian rebellion. All sides must surely agree that peace is the best answer. With the blessing of Mostarvia and surrounding nations, the Democratic Federation of International Terrans would be more than willing to supply the rapid-reaction force for an intervention. We have units deployed whose purpose is just that.
The 15th Mechanised Infantry Division and the 22nd Armoured Brigade on board the I.T.S. Grand Fleet and the I.T.S. Terra, along with various acquired commercial craft are holding their positions (with resupply) in the Adriatic Sea and have been so for some while. They are protected by the battleship I.T.N.S. Invincible, the aircraft carriers I.T.N.S. Indomitable and Implacable, along with the missile frigates I.T.N.S. Vulcan, Mars and Furious, the destroyers I.T.N.S. Resolute, Candid and Dragon, and the cruiser I.T.N.S. Watershed. These troops could deploy at a moment's notice.
With neutral, peacekeeping forces in the region, both sides could (hopefully) come to an agreement. If one side resists the forces, then they will be seen as hostile. Neither side, not the legitimate government of Mostarvia, not those representing the rebellions in Srebnyia, has the right to dispute the justice of peace. If the ceasefire is broken while neutral troops are on the ground and have been accepted into the region then dire consequences will result.
We would appreciate the aid of local nations of the Balkans in this respect.
Sincerely,

Sir Francis M. Cybulski
Minister of Defence

Balkan New Network: 11 o'clock news(22 hours after HRH Constantine's offical proclamation of actions to follow should Mostarvia not back down from Resolve V)
BNN anchorman:"We are bringing to you disturbing reports of Mostarvian soldiers killing wounded Srebnyian citizens completely defenceless(occ: based off of a CNN report on Iraqis being killed by US marines). We have managed to get a select few secret war reporters into the Srebnyian region to confirm if the CoSB's claims of Mostarvia ordering a total erradication of the SIG would include heavy Srebnyian civilian casualties. Unfortunately, they were not unfounded. We bring you to footage taken earlier today where the soldiers were confirmed to be from Mostarvia based on their weapons, main battle gear, uniforms, insignia, ranks, accents and language spoken."
(ooc: based off a CNN new report on US marines killing wounded, unarmed iraqis, quoted word by word minus backgrounds of the people)
unseen anonyomous reporter: "(a man crawling on the ground)...wounded, another Srebnyian rises on the ground, the soldiers kill him(slowly zooms out to see gun fire hit the ground around the Srebnyian and then him after 3 loud shots are heard as the Srebnyian crumples once more, this time lifeless). Men cheer." (camera turns to face the side of a Srebnyian soldier holding an assault rifle as cheering erupts in the background) (cuts to a Mostarvian soldier talking to the camera) "...but man those guys are dead now, y'know, but, it was-it is a good feeling... and afterwards you're like, oh hell yeah! That was awesome! Let's-let's do it again!"
BNN anchorman:" We now take you to a press conference of CoSB's Minister of Foreign Relations"
Mr. Poulopoulos: "Fellow Brothers, we cannot believe that a nation would order all media out of a hot zone based on their safety. Reporters have been in every major war throughout modern history and some have died as a result but it has never deterred them. Iraq was a perfect example, with videos of reporters being shot at while trying to escape from attackers, footage of all out battles occuring in streets of various Iraqi cities. There is no reason to order their removal, but after watching this footage, we now know the reason; hiding the truth from the rest of The Balkans.
Our concern is the decision to attempt to eliminate the entirety of the SIG with extreme prejudice. It is one thing to seek out and kill armed terrorists, it is another to see "soldiers" murdering wounded unarmed men in cold blood.
I fail to see how HRH Constantine's previous statements were insulting in the slightest. The only thing not confirmed is the mental stability of Mostarvia's current head of state. It is quite evident that Mostarvia is unwilling to follow the laws of the world set out to prevent exactly what has just been witnessed.
We are extending the deadline for some sort of reply from the heads of the RUDF to 47 hours after my original statement after Mostarvia's Resolve V was declared.
Our Rapid Deployment Strike Force (RDSF) consists of the I Carska Garda and XXIV Pax Romanum legions (both mechanized with supporting armour) totalling approximately 10 000 men not including supporting naval and air units which is also designed specifically for such a thing. With our naval forces having been placed on full alert, our three Ark Royal class aircraft carriers and one Amphibious Strike Aircraft carrier has been loaded with the RDSF along with naval air arm forces and are en route to the Adriatic Sea with their respective escort fleets totalling 40 ships of the line not including transport and supply ships. We will provide our vessels as a base of operations for offloading peacekeepers in concert with the International Terrans if they would be willing to co-operate together on the will of the RUDF and Mostarvia should they be willing to accept our peacekeepers. If not, we offer our fleet and transport vessels/aircraft for the RUDF to send peacekeepers.
"With neutral, peacekeeping forces in the region, both sides could (hopefully) come to an agreement. If one side resists the forces, then they will be seen as hostile. Neither side, not the legitimate government of Mostarvia, not those representing the rebellions in Srebnyia, has the right to dispute the justice of peace. If the ceasefire is broken while neutral troops are on the ground and have been accepted into the region then dire consequences will result." We are adopting a similar position to that of International Terrans as above and before mentioned. "
NBC reporter: " Mr. Poulopoulos, Tim Jordash, NBC. What of the reports that your nation's parliament is undergoing upheaval due to your Prime Minister's and monarch's stance on the events in Mostarvia? Do you believe that this will cause the two to call off their decision to interfere independenly if the RUDF does not step in? "
Mr. Poulopoulos: " I can tell you that the Official Opposition is causing a split in our nation's parliament in whether or not HRH Constantine and the Prime Minister should be allowed to interfere in the events of another nation. Especially when we have not done so since the first world war. With the Prime Minister holding a majority coalition government and the backing of the Monarch, it could be likely that the Official Opposition will not have the numbers required to do more than bring about a short delay in their deployment to the region should we be forced to do this alone. If you want a more indepth analysis, speak to any of the numerous political analyists, my concern is foreign relations as my job title states. Any other questions...?"
BNN anchorman: "As of yet no army or governmental officials from Mostarvia could be reached to comment on our discovery of the deaths of unarmed innocents. We do expect some sort of reply within the next 24 hours though. Moving on to rising crude oil prices...."
-Mostarvia- - April 6, 2005 09:08 AM (GMT)
OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:
*Mostarvian man in his 30's, dressed in a suit, takes to the Presidential podium.*
Good evening Press Corps.
I shall make a short statement, on behalf of President Vladovic.
The President wishes for his following statement to be repeated once more, and I quote:
"Any foreign intervention upon Mostarvia's sovereignty will see such an act subject to severe Mostarvian punishment enacted upon it, and those indicted in such an act.
"You have been warned. Let it be one that does not fall upon deaf ears, for the sake of peace with Mostarvia."
End quote.
On the subject of the alleged video showing the shooting of unarmed people by Mostarvian soldiers, the President wishes to express that no member of The Srebnyian Islamic Guard is innocent, they are all bloodthirsty killers, are the scum of the earth, and need to be expunged.
Secondly, it is likely the 'unarmed' persons did in fact have grenades hidden on their persons, and rather than the professional Mostarvian of the Mostarvian Armed Forces risk injury, took action to avoid risk to his health and life, along with his comrades, an act that must be applauded for it's professionalism.
The President, on behalf of the government and people of Mostarvia, congratulate Annoyastan for it's capture of members of the Srebnyian Islamic Guard, we hereby request the extradition of the suspects to Mostarvia, whilst applauding Annoyastan's moves to fight terrorism which threatens the security of Mostarvia and the region as a whole.
The President wishes it to be announced that the state funeral of the late President Lodovic shall be held today, and the funerals of the terrorist attacks on Mostar, everyday after from tommorow, until all are buried and cremated at peace.
I'll take a few questions. Yes?
"Is it possible Mostarvia will be at war with the Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium?"
The President expresses that this issue is up to Slavic Byzantium, on whether it wishes to continue it's hostile dialogue towards the Mostarvian President and people, and whether Slavic Byzantium wishes for it's populace to endure a burning furnace brought upon their nation, or peace.
Next?
"What is the President's view of journalists being in the Srebnyian region of Mostarvia, even though they are forbidden by the President's own rules?"
The President's view is that the guilty parties will be dealt with as trespassers, persona non grata, and will be dealt with accordingly, their crimes fitting the punishment they shall receive.
"What is Mostarvia's position towards Zahumlje and Edessia at this time?"
The President acknowledges Zahumlje do not want war, but is frustrated by Zahumlje's lack of acknowledgement of the armed Zahumlje nationals in the Srebnyia region.
Edessia is viewed as hostile at this present time for trying to play light of the serious matter at hand and refusing to acknowledge armed Edessian nationals in the Srebnyia region.
That is all, no more questions.
*Molan Mandorovic, Mostar Castle Spokesperson, leaves the podium and exits room.*

Look, when the RUDF is officially inaugurated, the charter will be up today and open to a three day QandA and suggestions and debate, after that, Im not sure how your gonna do it, but thats pitting the entire region and its armed forces, against yours, your going to run out of steam eventually. So threaten us militaristically all you want, but you will not and cannot take down the RUDF, 1) war is illegal here if you want to know and 2) It's a massive multinational, modern army!, your one, soviet era nation! how would you even be able to? 3) If the RUDF, MUST enter a nation, because that nation is disobeying regional law, and is a high thret to the nations around it, they will, and they will grind the gears of violence to a halt. Let this be a warning, President Vladovic, if you break regional law, you will be captured, contained and held accounted for. Watch your tongue, your not the big man on campus.

OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT:
Zahumlje's constant denials and unreproachable view on the matter leads us down the path to worsening relations.
The Edessian leaders can threaten us all they like hiding behind from what they think is the safety of the so called 'RUDF', accusing us of threatening military action and saying it is forbidden.
We do so because nations threaten it upon us. Double standards, I see.
So the Edessian leader who spoke, I laugh in your cowardly, pathetic face. Go on, declare war. I shall look forward to crushing and burning your army and your nation to cinders when you do, and having you hung by the testicles when you do. Then we will see how much of a little man on campus you are, won't we? Watch your own tongue, and your groin area too. You may lose it.
If the RUDF try to enter Mostarvian sovereign soil without permission, they will be seen as invaders, and will be subject to Mostarvian wrath.
Do not underestimate the strength and skill of The Army of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have to attend the funeral of my wife, and fellow Mostarvians killed in terrorist bombings.
President Vladovar Vladovic of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia
Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 11, 2005 02:29 AM (GMT)
Fellow Brothers,
We are quite dismayed by the path Mostarvia's President has chosen. It seems that ordering all media out of Srebnyia and ordering total annhilation of the SIG is not enough. They have threatened severe punishment to anyone who decides to enter Mostarvian territory, which in truth is not our main concern for we do not blame the Presdietn for makign such a statement, what truly troubles us is the total disregard of whether or not their internal strife will cause a war involving other nations. No attempt has been made to maintain the peace, to allow observers in to ensure what we saw on the BNN is not happening yet again.
What we find disturbing is Mostarvia's rebuttle to Edessia. That truly was tasteless.
We will therefore move the rest of our naval forces into the Adricatic to join the HMSBS Sevestopol, Pax Romanum, Stefan Dusan, and Novi Sad task forces which are already in position just outside the 200km international boundary zone. The 5th and final task force will consist of the flagship of the Royal Slavic Byzantium Navy, the Kirov class missile battlecruiser HMSBS Adolf Gustav which has just left port from Constantinople and is at full steam to link up with our main fleet and will provide the main Anti-missle/aircraft defence.
We do not underestimate Mostarvia's army, which is why we are using our finest and most decorated units which have proven themselves for 800 and 1700 years serving with the former Roman empires. We also remind Mostarvia not to underestimate our naval and air forces, which we have further maintained Roman tradition while no where near the largest, it is by far the most advanced and well equipped on Earth as acknowledged by the United Nations.
We have decided to await until the formation of the RUDF is complete. However, if it does not happen quickly, we will stop this massacre before it can become genocide along with anyone else who is willing to assist us.
You may have a shot at our cajones on your land, but try reaching them at 200-2000 clicks with thousands of missiles and artillery going after your own. That was crude, but it seems that brute force and crude threats is all that Mostarvia will understand and we have all the words that Mostarvia will ever need to comprehend in the launchers of our carriers, our flagship, and the bays of our strike fighters and bombers.
If you want war over the way you're annhilating the scum that the SIG is, we will be more than willing to oblige. If you want peace by seeking a slightly more moderate method and having the co-operation of your fellow Brothers, we will be more than willing to oblige. The option is yours, either way, "Resolve V" WILL stop in the way it is being carried out.

Foreign Ministry of Zahumlje
Sarajevo VrhBosna Province
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press, thank you for attending this meeting. We have noticed that the Mostarvians are still accusing Zahumlje of crimes which Zahumlje never committed. We notice that they are resorting to a low level of anatomical vulgarity in their statements in regard to Edessia.
This is objectionable. No one from Zahumlje is behind whatever happened in Mostarvia.
I guess some lies are so big it is impossible to take them back. Zahumlje has done nothing to Mostarvia. Zahumlje has not attacked Mostarvia and it is time for them to calm down before it is too late.
Imam Hodza Nasrudin took no questions.
The press corp next went to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Ladies and Gentlemen: I think you all know what the situation with Mostarvia means,
there are now restrictions on what may be published in Zahumljani news media whether print, or broadcast.
The border areas now have increased travel restrictions. There is to be no night travel by civilians. We recomend those civilians not in collective or the traditional zadruga arrangements send their women and children to such places, or to monasteries or to the interior. It is not safe now in the border area.
Zahumljani citizens are urged to return from all bordering countries which have defunct governments, and to exercise caution in traveling for business or recreation.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges that Zahumljani who see anything suspiscious or who hear of anything suspicious please to report this to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Thank you dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press for comeing to report on these matters.

OFFICIAL MOSTARVIAN GOVERNMENT STATEMENT
To Prime Minister of CoSB Tatjana Lagumdzija,
Threatening The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia with War and it's weaponry is foolish and idiotic on your behalf.
The Armed Forces of Mostarvia has the most sophisticated weaponry at hand, which together with Mostarvian expertise would render your little armada's attack useless, futile, and a slaughter that would be seen as an embrassingly emphatic black day in the history of Slavic Byzantium for all those who inhabit Slavic Byzantium for generations to come.
Spare you and your nation's blood and blushes, and know when to shut up and back off.
Keep your naval vessels out of Mostarvian waters, or I will happily see them go to the bottom of the sea, with their crews.
Do not rouse a Giant, little minnow, for you will be crushed to the point of no return.
President of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia, Vladovar Vladovic
Balkans News Network Reports:
Within the last few minutes, The President Of Mostarvia has said that The Mostarvian Navy are patrolling the entirerity of Mostarvian waters "at a increased level of defence readiness"...
Tolomakia - April 11, 2005 02:09 PM (GMT)
We have sent the Nicodim and Cantemir carriers in the international waters near the Mostarian waters; the carriers are the mobile base of operations for X22b fighters. Several escort ships and two nuclear submarines are also presents. Tolomakian forces are on stand-by, awaiting orders. They will interfere only if friendly nations are attacked.
At this moment we may accept a regional pre-emptive strike against Mostarvia, if a significant number of nations agree to it.

Commonwealth of Slavic Byzantium - April 12, 2005 03:39 AM (GMT)
Fellow Brothers,
After the recent rebuttles of Mostarvia, it has quelled any and all resistence in Slavic Byzantium's parliament that the Official Opposition has had in making the moves we already have. With myself and HRH Constantine XLIII having the full support of Parliament, we are officially deemed enemies of the state of Mostarvia. As such, we have ordered all Mostarvian expatriates out of our nation and the Mostar ambassador placed under 24/7 watch. The ambassador is free to return to his nation under heavy escort with his belongings and all embassy personnel as well.
There is no point in attempting to use words to end this debacle. It is time to use the one thing Mostarvians seem capable of comprehending; strength.

*President Vladovar Vladovic finishes listening to what the head of MUSS and the heads of the Mostarvian military, navy and air force have to say in the Situation Room in Mostar Castle.*
"...and you are quite sure of this?" The President asked calmy and cooly.
"Positive Mr President. No doubt whatsoever regarding the intelligence and the motives and actions planned." The head of MUSS said in a matter of fact, relaxed, confident manner.
"I concur, for reasons already stated." said The head of the Mostarvian Air Force.
The heads of the army and Navy nodded their heads in agreement.
President Vladovic looked at all the men in the room, who had the power invested in them by the President, should he will it, for any enemy of Mostarvia to be destroyed, people eradicted in a blink of an eye. In the flash of a searing bright light.
"All of The Armed Forces of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia will be placed on DEFCON 1, as of now." President Vladovic said in a calm, yet commanding tone. "Prepare for war, and victory."

Flagstaff meeting onboard newly arrived Adolf Gustav,
"How soon can the transmission be deciphered?"
"We are not sure Brother Admiral, we are not very familiar with Mostarvian military coded messages. It could take hours, days, maybe over a week before we crack the message intercepted from Mostor Castle. All I can tell you is that is has caused a sudden surge in Mostar military communications. With such a great increase in radio traffic our mainframe deciphers can crack it sooner, but once more I cannot tell you how much."
The Admiral gave a nod and thought to himself for a moment. "What of Zahumlje and Esdessia? They have had more experience in dealing with Mostarvia. Perhaps we could ask them for assistance in deciphering the code."
"Hmm...I suppose there is no harm in asking, especially given how hostile Mostarvia has been towards them." The air commodore then turned to the Captain of the Adolf Gustav. "Brother Captain, I want you to contact the nearest naval vessels of Zahumlje and Edessia requesting assistance in cracking the military code, and if they already have and would be willing to inform us of what it is, so much the better."
The Captain snapped his head to the Commodore and in a leasurely pace replied. "Yes sir. I will inform you as soon as I receive replies from them." The Captain then stood, gave a respectful nod to the flag bridge and walked to the elevator up to the main bridge.
"I still say he runs too lax of a ship." Noted a second Admiral.
"And yet his crew is the most disciplined and capable in the fleet. It is why they are stationed to the flagship and are here. Now that we have settled that, what of the Mostarvian navy's detection capabilites? Little attempt has been made to concentrate forces anywhere near our current position."

This situation and it's grave possible consequences for regional stability are a matter of great concern to our government. Yesterday afternoon, our parliament voted to deploy the 1st Battle Group of the Red Fleet to the Adriatic Sea. We offer the full co-operation of our nation's military in the effort to intervene against Mostarvia's genocide in the Srebniya region. Our forces are mobilising as we speak, with orders to move to a state of full combat readiness within the hour. We advise Mostarvia to discontinue their genocide and allow media into Srebniya, lest they feel the wrath of nashe orujie.

***ZNN***NEWS ALERT***
Due to the fact many new listeners in the region probably missed the last broadcasts of ZNN it was seen as urgent to rebroadcast the following information. In the interests of regional harmony, ZNN is broadcasting this here too.
These were procedeings yesterday before BICJ and it is important to all parties to be aware of the REST of the story:
Official Mostarvian Government Statement:
President Vladovar Vladovic wishes for the following to be made known.
The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia is not bound by this court.
However, following through investigation, it has been revealed that the Zahumlje passports discovered on dead terrorists in The Srebnyia region of Mostarvia were in fact fakes.
The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia, following a Mostarvian Union Security Service (MUSS) through investigation, has concluded that the passports were faked by the Srebnyia Islamic Guard to intentionally inflame relations between Mostarvia and Zahumlje to the point that war would be declared upon Mostarvia, or Mostarvia declared war upon Zahumlje, leading to a regional crisis that would work in the Srebnyia Islamic Guard's favour to make Mostarvia to look to be the regional villian, and thus make regional support to the Srebnyia Islamic Guard grow to the extent that they would claim a independent seperatist nation from Mostarvia as they wish to do, but with regional recognition and would be viewed as with justification.
Following these findings, The government and people of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia hereby offers heartfelt, honest, and unreserved apologies to Zahumlje for the stress, harrassment, upset, and now unjust accusation that Zahumlhe had found placed upon them by The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia.

Excellencies: In view of this developement Zahumlje withdraws the case. We accept the appology of Mostarvia in this matter. We hope that it will be possible to lower regional tensions now as the situation was based on a situation of neither Mostarvia's makeing, nor Zahumljes. We waive compensation as it is difficult for any government bound or unbound by the court to make such a statement under such circumstances. I personally wish to express the deep appreciation of the People of Zahumlje and Her Majesty's Government in this Matter. We recommend that Edessia await developements also, because we suspect similar circumstances may obtain in their case as well.

I have only this to say to the leader of the USSM. Take your poxy fleet, and go crawl back into the hole you came from, lest you wish to feel the wrath of a crushing defeat at the hands of the Armed Forces of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia.
I feel compelled to allow my Armed Forces to do this right now, for the false suggestion they are commiting genocide in the Srebnyia region when all they are doing is eliminating a terrorist threat.
You are an Idiot, and a traitor to the socialist cause. Your use serves no purpose except to wipe my nose on your insignificant being.
Compell me, and I shall crush you with ease and satisfaction, like stepping on an ant.
That goes for anyone who wishes to wage war on The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia on a excuse and pretext of lies and slanderous accusations.

I have this to say to President Vladovic; your petty slander is of no consequence to us. We will do whatever it takes to maintain stability in the region. Any attempt to attack our forces will be met with swift and decisive action. You suggest your forces are eliminating a terrorist threat. Unarmed, wounded prisoners are hardly a threat.Perhaps your army will not be so effective when faced with a force capable of firing back.

I could see intercepting the request to Zahumlje and Edessia vessels but there's no way I can even conceive of a satellite in space being able to hear a verbal discussion.

To the intellectually challenged leader of USSM,
Such foolish bravado from the leader of a little nation such as yourself may well lead to your annexation.
Your naval force are rust buckets and rowing boats in comparison to mine.
Your armed forces resistance to a Mostarvian attack would be futile and suicidal.
I suggest you don't bother trying to provoke my wrath, for I will gladly step on you and crush you with an army bigger than your entire population.

Your band of murderous thugs you deign to call 'soldiers' are nothing more than pitiful inconveniences when faced with the coalition of forces off Mostarvia. I'm also curious to know, is your army larger than the combined forces with which you are faced? I doubt it.
