Balkans News Network Reports:
Within the last few minutes, it has been announced by the Mostar Commitee of The People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia that Vladovar Vladovic has been chosen to be the next President of Mostarvia.
It is reported that the other Presidential candidates in the running have accepted the decision, although it is expected that the new President will choose the losing candidates for positions within the government.
Vladovar Vladovic reportedly has just said "It is the upmost and profound honour to lead my valiant country and fellow Mostarvians, and I shall serve them with every sinew and bone in my body."
Regional and international reactions is expected to be cooled, following recent heightened tensions with neighbours Zahumlje over allegations armed Zahumlje nationals were killed in the troubled Srebnyia region of Mostarvia, however, the region may be relieved that stability is returning following the assassination of President Lodovic at the hands of Srebnyian seperatists.
we have regional analyst Alan Braithwaite in the studio. Alan, what's your reaction?
"*sigh* I will say only this. You thought Lodovic was hardline? Wait until you see Vladovic in action."
The Prime-Minister Marian Voicu has issued a short statement regarding the elections in Mostarvia:
It looks like the former dictator's right-handed has been "elected" in the position of... new dictator. Our expectations were very law and it is no way the recent events in Mostarvia can be qualified as free and fair elections. We have no intentions to re-establish diplomatic or trade relations with Mostarvia and we are analyzing the possibility of proposing a regional trade embargo and other economic sanctions against the dictatorship in this nation. We are fully behind Freedom Fund in their support for all organizations promoting civil and political rights in Mostarvia.
