New Province of Zahumlje: Paganija! Paganija was a special area of Jugska Dalmacija and Paganija has a rich historic and linguistic heretage. Her Majesty's Government responded to the people of Paganija by granting them a province of their own. The fact is that Paganija as a locality within Zahumlje can attract numerous tourists. Those in the know will realize that Paganija is the source of the modern word 'Pagan' as a name for early European pre-Christian religion. In the case of Paganija this is a geographical term only, as there are few if any practiceing Pagans in Zahumlje. Of course Pagans are welcome as visitors to this region.
This was arrived at through a legislative process and by of course Royal Decree. Historic Paganija is part of Jugska Dalmacija and a westerly portion of Jugska Zahumlje Province, specificly along the Neretva Valley.
