This is an excellent occasion for us all to celebrate
i think the region needs to understand that the real significance of this lies in the fact that Zahumlje was a real, historical region. Comparable to modern Herzegovina. So the presence of Queen Katja's Zahumlje is especially significant and especially deserving of another drink!

Cool, Now im curious as to where Zahumlje gets their pcitures, because i notice real people holding flags that look exactly like Zahumlje's. Is it a Bosnian flag variant? i cant pinpoint it.

I'm only 5th on mine. The reason you even get many results is that Gurich is a name. I had no idea when I thought it up to use it for my nation, odd.

Excellency; How very clever of you to notice! I have a lot of older pictures of BiH saved, and because I can read Bosnian, I often visit websites which are not in English, for research, practice in the language and for fun.
Those are pictures useing the first post independance flag of BiH, and I used that flag because I HATE the new flag, viscerally I mean I even gave it a nickname, I call it 'Petrisch's Hanky'. The story of it is one of annoying, craven stupidity, whereas the story of the older flag is beautiful and noble.
The flag on the NS pages is a 1992 unauthorised varient flag. The other flag is a tad more fancy, the pre 1998 flag was based on the coat of arms of the Kotramanic family, a noble family which produced both Bosnia-Hercegovina's greatest kings, the Ban Kulin, King Tvrtko I and King Tvrtko II, as well as the last two kings who I'm sorry to say did not have greatness going for them.
(brief ooc, real life note: I have traceable descent from both the House of Kotramanic, the origin of the original flag, and the House of Vukcic-Kosaca, hence the reason I liked the old flag better!) FOTW and FAME sites dealing with vexiollogy, the 'science' of flags have information and examples of these flags.
