i vopted yes, it may take a while for anything to happen, but instantanous and unified information is key in advancing humanity to the next echelons of development

The government of the Democratic Federation has voted AGAINST this measure. Whether or not the practical aspects of the project are difficult, the fact of the matter is, I see nothing in this proposal about creating a different Global Library project to overcome these difficulties. Such a project would be a welcome addition in some countries, whether or not the technology to create it is available.

Everlasting snow - February 20, 2005 09:33 AM (GMT)
The Queen of Everlasting snow voted against the proposal, because the queen will never vote for repealing a library.

Edessia - February 20, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
ok whoops, i stated my answer wrong, i meant i voted against repealing, by saying YEs, i meant i support the global library and would not like to see it torn down.

International Terrans - February 20, 2005 11:25 PM (GMT)
No matter. The repeal passed anyway, and we see no plans to instill a new one... yet another action undermining our faith in the sense of the United Nations.
