Excellencies: I just went up to the 'Three Corners' area and I am really distressed, refugees of all ethnicities, are attempting to cross out of the Srebenja area of Mostarvia. It must be noted that there is very heavy snowfull in this area. People are at risk of freezing to death, and are without adequate shelter. Several illegal crossings have taken place. Some have gone to stay in a war damaged uninhabited village in Zahumlje. RAZ is on the way north with tents, blankets, food and medical supplies. Due to the fact some of these people may in fact be associated with the rebels, Zahumljani police are setting up mobile registration stations, so that people can be properly identified, and then housed either as refugees or suspected rebels.
ZYSL has been very valuable in rendering assistance, some hopped into old busses with supplies in the dead of night when the crisis broke out, knowing for sure there would be refugees. In fact Bozidar Zidaric, Chair of ZYSL is who called me to notify me of the situation.
I'll keep you appraised of the situation. Incidentally it is not known what the status is in Hrvatska, BAHHB and Policij Granica of Zahumlje are cooperateing closely to try to keep things orderly.

Official People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia statement:

The situation in the Srebnyia region of Mostarvia is indeed serious, but it is hoped that the situation will soon be pacified and order restored.

I personally thankyou for your government's pro-active stance on closing borders.

However, I do request that borders outside the Srebnyia region of Mostarvia remain open for trade between our countries.

The situation in the Mostarvian region of Srebnyia has sadly not been helped so far by Hrvatska and Annoyastan, who have not responded to my calls for them to tighten their border controls.

People's Red Mostar Union of Mostarvia President Lodovan Lodovic
