On this date, June the 26th of the year 2003, is established the Balkan Nuclear Energy Agency.
Its purpose is to be the promoter of the safe and responsable use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and the control of weapons of mass destruction that could be derived from this practice.

The Agency was proposed by the Federation of Pepestonia and was established after studies showed the increasing demand for nuclear energy procurement in the region.
