Title: Situation in Pereslawlj requires preparations
Description: ahead of time.

Katja of Zahumlje - November 17, 2004 03:32 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: As you know the situation in Perislawl is quite dire, due to Her Majesty Queen Katarina's recomendations, I think that BAHHB needs to be prepared in case there is a refugee situation in lands bordering Perislawl due to their (extremely stupid) civil war..
Right now BAHHB personel in Zahumlje are taking inventory in Warehouse 23 to make sure sufficient supplies are available in case there is a need. Hopefully things will calm down first. If not, BAHHB will be ready.
Dr. Nura Hodzic
Interim Chair BAHHB

The Kingdom of Slavpo - November 17, 2004 06:08 AM (GMT)
Dr. Nura Hodzic,

Slavpo and the BAHHB vastly appreciate your preparatory efforts if the Perejaslawl situation deteriorates into a refugee crisis.

Due to Slavpo's close proximity to Perejaslawl, we feel obligated to to our citizens, to our neighbours and to the region to take a strong role in this potential refugee crisis. Slavpo's main humanitarian agency, SIHA, and the Slavposki peacekeepers, the MiRska, will co-operate directly with Zahumlje's humanitarian outlets to prepare and predict a plan of operation if Perejaslawl should collapse.

-Mostarvia- - November 17, 2004 04:08 PM (GMT)
Dr. Nura Hodzic,

The Mostarvian Government will be more than willing to send truck convoys of aid via other The Balkans nations to affected refugees should the situation, as it looks increasingly likely, arises.

Srpska Kosovo - November 17, 2004 06:31 PM (GMT)
The government of Srpska Kosovo is concerned that the situation may be too unstable to permit the safe delivery of humanitarian aid. With that in mind, we may need to consider air dropping supplies in conjunction with the proposed international enforcement of a no-fly zone.

Katja of Zahumlje - November 17, 2004 09:38 PM (GMT)
Excellencies: Her Majesty's Governement is proposing a cordon around the Nation of Pereslawlj, air drops are not a bad idea, IF it can be done safely, but Her Majesty's governement is concerned about the possiblity of capture, and the possiblity of supplies falling into the hands of individuals who are not civilians, for example black marketers, or rogue military elements. The Zahumljani proposals can be seen in the procdeings of the Summit in Mostarvia.

Everlasting snow - November 19, 2004 09:37 AM (GMT)
The Queen of Everlasting snow is pleased that other nations are willing to help with the refugees coming from Peresjawl. They are al taking care of right now. But the fear is high in Everlasting snow that a lot more will come and that the refugee camps sat up at the border won't be able to hold this.

The Kingdom of Slavpo - November 20, 2004 02:55 AM (GMT)
Queen of Everlasting Snow,

We down in neighbouring Slavpo all too well understand your fears. That is why we must work together to combat a refugee overflow and create order and calm if such a crisis should occur.

Katja of Zahumlje - November 20, 2004 03:44 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: That is why Zahumlje is willing to take in refugees, the camps are seen as a temporary transit point.
Dr. Nura Hodzic
Interim Chair BAHHB

Everlasting snow - November 22, 2004 09:37 AM (GMT)
The Queen of Everlasting snow agrees with Slavpo that we should join hands in restoring peace and rest again in Peresjawl.
We would very much like the help of Zahumlje with the refugees.

SNowy greeting from the Queen of Everlasting snow

Srpska Kosovo - November 22, 2004 03:55 PM (GMT)
The Republic of Srpska Kosovo will forward a shipment of 10 tons of food supplies (enough to provide approximately 30,000 meals) to Zahmulje. The food will be driven to Zahmulje and may then be trans-shipped or distributed as Queen Katja sees fit. We hope that our small contribution may be of some comfort and assistance to the people of Peresjawl.

Bulgarska - November 22, 2004 11:39 PM (GMT)
I think that my nation could spare some food cause we are agricultural nation and have plenty food i think that now is the season of fruits but we will send some meat and many bread of course !we will send it by sea and deliver it to Consti then with Trucks it will be transported to perejaslawl !

Katja of Zahumlje - November 23, 2004 03:44 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: Her Majesty's Governement would like to thank Srpska Kosovo and Bulgarska for the help as well as Slavpo. Her Majesty's Governement wishes also to reassurse Everlasting Snow that refugees will be flown out to Zahumlje withinin the next 24 hours.
Best Wishes
Dr. Nura Hodzic
Interim Chair BAHHB

-Mostarvia- - November 23, 2004 11:26 AM (GMT)
Mostarvia is currently airdropping supplies on Perejaslawl's refugees, and the Mostarvian Air Force has orders to open fire on those deemed as enemy combatants who try to seize our supplies.

On the subject of a refugee crisis, the situation in Annoyastan, a huge nation bordering Mostarvia, is a cause for concern. The nation has been inactive of late, and the Mostarvian Government is preparing for Annoyastan to implode (cease to exist) and thus, are expecting a very, very, large flood of refugees.

In other words, we expect another refugee crisis, but this time on our border. Prepearations are under way to deal with this influx.

Excellencies: At one time Annoyastan was a good friend of Zahumlje. Their situation distresses Her Majesty greatly on a personal leavel. No one has seen any leaders of Annoyastan, but Annoyastani refugees have been showing up requesting at least temporary assylum in Zahumlje. Since they have been a fellow member of at least one regional initiative, Her Majesty's government has welcomed these refugees and ZYSL has been helping. I am back from Nicea, nothing too awful going on there, however Kirdistan is a mess. Probably the situation is worse than any seen in the South Balkans region in some time. Food supplies have been airlifted in, and the other bad thing is that a plague of locusts has headed in their general direction so low level insecticides have been shipped in, just in case of need.

The Kingdom of Slavpo - November 27, 2004 02:10 AM (GMT)
Annoyastan has been an integral member of this region. It really is distressing when we see nations like this deteriorate and require outside help. Although i hope it stops or slows down hereon in.

Katja of Zahumlje - November 27, 2004 05:51 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: Well it looks like the situation in Pereslawl is calming down, but Edessia is causing a problem with the nuclear pollution. It may be necessary to take steps for relief of nations in the fallout path.
Still nothing from Annoyastan
