It was Wednesday when he fell ill, another heart attack. The media cought word of it an hour later. People rushed out of work and school to the gates of the palace, the Imperial Guard stood at attention. Phillipe, Jelena, and Maria are flown in from Sardinia.
In the room where he was officials were preparing documents to be signed by him, the Dynastic Order, his Last Will & Testament, and all the rest. They were pushed away by the Cardinal-Bishops and the Annointing of the Sick took place. Anna was crying, telling him she loved him.
The doctors closed the room off. One of them light a candel in the window that was visible to the crowd outside the gates, all other lights were put out.
"Anna, I love you. Tell the children I love them. I will watch over you all. Paradiszia has loved me as I have loved them, Philipe will do good. Goodbye Anna, my love............."
