The latest UN-resolution is called: " End Nuclear Proliferation Act". It is a well-written resolution that aims to end nuclear weapons within a decade.

The Republic of Catay agrees, and has voted for. Nuclear weapons of all sorts should be banned, and an UN organisation is needed to oversee this proces, the UN ENPA. However the Republic of Catay is worried about possible nuclear weapon programs in non UN-member states. How can we stop them or protect our selves, any solution?

We disagree. This has to do with the nation's sovereignity and the UN has no right to interfere in the internal relations of a country.

A laudable goal.

But is it wise for the U.N. nations to disarm unilaterally, vis-a-vis the non-UN nations?

We are inclined to believe that such a treaty would work better on a regional basis, including non-UN nations.
