The Federation of International Terrans returns to democracy!

NEW LONDON: (ITP)

The new ruling government (the Democratic Socialist Party) of the Federation of International Terrans was pleased to announce today that the F.I.T. is now a true democracy. After a long, 10 year hiatus from the governing system, the party held free elections. The UN responded by re-classifying the F.I.T. as a "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy", after a long period as a "Father Knows Best State".

Sir Francis Michael Cybulski IV has decided to change to the Democratic Socialist Party, and is still the leader of the country.

The control of the legislature is still tentative however, and several pundits have begun to criticise the government. Will the F.I.T.'s new-found democratic process last?

Thracia is very pleased to see that a fellow Balkan nation has returned to democracy and congratulates the entire nation of International Terrans for this achievement!

In addition, to recongnize this achievement, once the F.I.T. reaches 500 million people, it will become the D.F.I.T., the Democratic Federation of International Terrans. (OOC: 500 million mark is tommorow, the 26th of May.)
