Title: Aid Supplies For Lilyevska
Description: Suplies in Heroja 1 marta Aerodrome
Katja of Zahumlje - May 9, 2004 01:19 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: Supplies are in the Heroje 1 Marta Vojska Aerodrome in Stjepanagrad. This airport can accomadate larger cargo planes, such as Globemasters, or Constellations. Due to recent policy changes no Zahumljani are allowed to go to distressed regions, as no Zahumljani peacekeepers will be stationed in distressed regions for the time being. Simply notify the Foreign Office in Stjepanagrad for clearance to come and get all supplies. Also the Foreign Office has opened an account to pay Zahumlje's share of any military costs incurred for peacekeeping forces from other Balkans Nations.
Imam Hodza Nasrudin
Foreign Minister Zahumlje
Excellencies: I will be going briefly to Lilijevska to check out facts on the ground. This is for three days strictly to asses needs.
Best Wishes

Srpska Kosovo - May 9, 2004 02:23 AM (GMT)
Srpska Kosovo offers 2 battalions of the 549th Motorized Brigade plus 2 companies of Military Police (approximately 1600 men) to assist in peace-keeping operations in Lilyevska. As our airforce currently has no transport aircraft, we will require transport into and out of Lilyevska.
Cypriot Socialist Federation - May 9, 2004 09:37 AM (GMT)
Cyprus will offer the X Merchanized Infantry division for peacekeeping. It will be transpotred over Anatolia, though, so we require permission of the states of the Anatolian Peninsula.
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 9, 2004 12:58 PM (GMT)
We will send 1500 samurai to keep the peace in the region.

Katja of Zahumlje
Queen-Komissar
Iam glad that the region is stepping up to the plate. While Zahumlje is not sending troops or people Zahumlje will send necessary relief supplies and cash aid.
The situation on the ground does not look good, there seems to be an utter lack of infrastructure. The people apear calm but bewildered. They will need compassion and understanding.

Ponte-Corvo - May 19, 2004 08:43 AM (GMT)
Although Ponte-Corvo is a peaceful nation with few troops, it sees the wisdom of the peace-keeping operations undertaken by this Agency. It therefore pledges to supply 25% of the cost of this expedition to the countries committing troops to preserve these people's standard of living. The Cardinal has also expressed an intent to subsidise construction of church buildings and hospitals undertaken by local communities in the interests of promoting Catholicism worldwide and ensuring appropriate health coverage in both temporal and spiritual domains.
All such construction projects, on production of 40% of the total production cost and detailed plans approved by government surveyors may apply for a free gift of 20% and a 10-year interest-free loan of 40%.
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 19, 2004 06:23 PM (GMT)
I`m against any religious propaganda.
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 19, 2004 06:28 PM (GMT)
IF there is a need we will send more peace keepers.
Thracia - May 19, 2004 09:01 PM (GMT)
Yes, no activity for proselytism should be connected with BAHHB.
Ponte-Corvo should be free to support any organization or cause it wants to, but activities to promote Catholicism should not be associated with BAHHB.
Katja of Zahumlje - May 20, 2004 04:03 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: Thank you Thracia, indeed the sucess of BAHHB has all along been it's non-sectarian nature. BAHHB workers can work in safety in places that no other organization can simply because of this fact.
I do think the whole nature of peacekeeping associated with BAHHB may need re-thinking however. Her Majesty's Government in Zahumlje found the experience of the Neo-Israel peac-keeping operation unpleasant. There were some allegations that were quite out of place during that operation. Her Majesty decided after that experience to not contribute troops or other personel into peacekeeping after that. This is because she feels that the Nations which most should have backed the joint efforts of Zahumlje and Federation of Soviet Colonies failed to do so. It is only with great difficulty that I convinced her that in cases of failed nations it is vital for me to go in for three days to a week to have a look at the situation. She requires me to have a body guard of former Janissaries hired by our most noted personal security firm, and i cannot be present anywhere more than a week. This is a very great inconvenience.
I see an increasingly isolationist trend in the policies of Her Majesty's Government.
Zahumlje will always financially support peace keeping and relief efforts. I am busy setting up the mechanics of this so that in future relief supplies and equipment can move rapidlly. The Warehouse 23 neighborhood is becoming a stageing area for international aid supplies. This way in future no delay will occur in sending out aid from Stjepanagrad.
Well the Spring Rains are coming in, must get off my computer.
Best Wishes

Ponte-Corvo - May 20, 2004 09:56 AM (GMT)
It is not religious propaganda to allow people a place to worship in. All people have the basic right of worship; thus by building a church (and this Agency is for construction) we are simply facilitating the use of a basic human right. We would supply no ministers, nor would we campaign or otherwise preach in the region under the auspices of the BAHHD, only pay for a structure for the local people who are already christians to use. Nor do I suggest that it be limited to catholic structures, as all places of worship are a fundamental part of the community; however, obviously the cardional cant pay for the construction of a mosque. I suggest another nation or the Agency as a whole contribute to that.
