The Eastern Roman Empire - May 5, 2004 11:45 AM (GMT)
Hello, fellow Monarchs (and other nations too) of the Balkans. I am a visitor, an observer, delegate, from the region 0000000000Islamic Countries (dunno how many 0's), and I would like to ask if Byzantium can participate in the League as a foreign Monarchy.

Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 5, 2004 06:20 PM (GMT)

Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - May 5, 2004 07:28 PM (GMT)
How long are you planning to stay my friend?

The Eastern Roman Empire - May 6, 2004 03:20 PM (GMT)
as long as necesary to promote the relations of our two regions

Pope Christian VI - May 6, 2004 03:42 PM (GMT)
I believe that this nation should be allowed to join. He is a monarchy and is related to our region, if only through diplomacy. Let heim join.

Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 6, 2004 06:20 PM (GMT)
I agree with Pope Christian VI we have to let him join us.

Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - May 7, 2004 07:17 PM (GMT)

Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 7, 2004 07:56 PM (GMT)

The Eastern Roman Empire - May 7, 2004 08:57 PM (GMT)

Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - May 8, 2004 12:14 AM (GMT)
Have you spoken with Thracia about this Zahumlje?

Byzantine we ask for your patience in this matter. Thank you.

Thracia - May 8, 2004 06:49 AM (GMT)
Dear members of the League of Balkan Monarchies,

The Byzantine Empire is an ambassador-nation. It did not join the Balkans, but it expressed interest in participating in our discussions taking place in this forum.

It could become a member of your league, but Thracia's opinion is that it could not have the same status as the other members. For instance, when you vote on something, the Byzantine Empire might of course express its opinion, but it could not vote. We should maintain a difference between an ambassador-nation and a regular-nation. The right to vote, and the right to decide, should be for regular members only.

Nevertheless, our government's opinion is that we all can learn a lot from the Byzantine Empire. We should listen to its views; all of us, but especially the monarchies.

So, in short, we would advise you to include the Byzantine Empire in your league but to give it a "special status".

Cypriot Socialist Federation - May 8, 2004 07:13 AM (GMT)

Pope Christian VI - May 14, 2004 10:12 PM (GMT)
