Dear fellow-UNmembers,
Please tell me what you think of the latest UN-resolution: "BioRights Declaration"!
Personal view of The Ancient One (Paul): We vote AGAINST, since we are against cloning of humans in the first place..
P.S. The Principality of Nicaea has expressed it's view on this resolution in a PT: AGAINST.

International Terrans has voted AGAINST this resolution - cloning itself destroys the sanctity of human life, let alone giving them the same rights as those of real people.
The only thing clones are good for is cannon fodder.
We encourage all nations to radically oppose such libertarian, life-abusing pap.

The current 'score' is 4 For - 4 Against. Anyone else wants to express it's views?

Think of a painting. Is a copy worth the same as the original? NO! It is not the original, and is not of the same quality! If you want more people, throw in baby bonuses or make abortion illegal.
NOTE: Please excuse my ranting.

How exacty is a painting comparable to a living being?
International Terrans - May 7, 2004 12:36 AM (GMT)
It isn't. But if we have problems with messing around with human life, then we shouldn't be cloning in the first place. Animals? Fine. Humans? Lets just avoid that altogether - don't do it!
