Title: Now that we have a forum.....
Description: ....whats next?
Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - April 7, 2004 07:39 PM (GMT)
Well, now that we have acquired a forum, what should be our first order of business? Perhaps we can draft an economic treaty. Do you think we could elect some sort of leader for our league? Perhaps a Speaker of the Balkan Monarchy League? And if we do so, who should this person be?
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - April 7, 2004 07:44 PM (GMT)
First,i think,we have to know how many nations are interested to join the league. Then we discuss it.My proposal is to wait some nations to join our league.
Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - April 8, 2004 01:48 AM (GMT)
I agree with you, we will wait. However, soon I will begin drafting a charter for our league. I should have it ready to present by Saturday.
Katja of Zahumlje - April 8, 2004 03:04 AM (GMT)
A note of clarification, We did not mean to say a wrong decision is a good thing or that monarchs frequently make wrong decisions. Au contrair!
Monarchs are often trained from childhood for the responsibilities of leadership and this leads We think to a higher number of corret decisions swiftly rendered.

Queen Komissar
p.s. We think it would be terrific if others came up with defenses of monarchy.

Katja of Zahumlje - April 10, 2004 04:21 AM (GMT)
To Oda, it's perfectly possible. Remember in R.L. Sweden is a monarchy with many Socialist features, i'm sure their socialist party belongs to some socialist organization or other, but the Royal Family of Sweden associate with monarchs, they also ride their bikes to the office like other Swedes. Remember Modern Feudalism is a Monarchy with elements of Socialism.
A true monarchy isn't really capitalist anyway.
The land tenure arrangements make that quite difficult.
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - April 10, 2004 12:01 PM (GMT)
We will be pleased to have you in our in the ranks of The Monarchies League.
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - April 10, 2004 09:32 PM (GMT)
I have a suggestion,to wai one more week and then when we see how many nations are interested to be members of the league we all to sign firs a non-aggression treaty and then some economc document. We need to increase our economic and cultural relations.
Everlasting snow - April 11, 2004 08:26 PM (GMT)
The Queen of Everlasting snow also would like to join the monarchist league.
Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - April 11, 2004 08:34 PM (GMT)

Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - April 12, 2004 05:28 AM (GMT)
We would be pleased and honored to have the Vatican in the league.
