Title: New Nuclear Power Plant
Description: A new power plant is being built

Csabaland - March 28, 2004 04:47 PM (GMT)
The Ministry of Energy, Ministry for Nuclear Safety, Ministry of Workforce, Ministry of Finance and the Statistics Firm have decided that the time has come for Csabaland to build another nuclear power plant. This would be the 7th power plant in Csabaland, and would greatly aide our current power needs.

In two years, Csabaland will spend all its current power resources, and will have to relly on import. To prevent the costs to build up to much, the power plan, planned to be finished in 6 years, was decided to be the best solution. The plant will be built near the small town of Semmihalom, pop. 200.

The government of Csabaland is aware of the unpopularity of nuclear power plants, yet they would like to assure the region that this new power plant will be built according to highest standards, implementing the newest technology known to Csabalandian scientists.

Pope Christian VI - March 28, 2004 08:14 PM (GMT)
If it can be ensured that these power plants will not endanger lives, our country will endorse this move.

We agree with Pope Christian VI. But we would also be interested in providing Uranium if needed, our mines are once again open and secure with the aid of government funds.
My respects

We thank you two nations for your support. Csabaland will allow foreign monitors to oversee the construction of the new nuclear power plant, and they may add suggestions or express their worries if they would like. This power plan is very much needed because of our current needs, but once it is built we'll have extra power and we'll try and export it to other Balkans nations.

As for the offer of uranium, unfortunately we don't require it. Uranium mining is the 3rd largest industry in Csabaland (check my stats), so we are quite well in supply in that area.

We merely will suggest that since your intentions are merely civil with your nuclear equipment and technology that you consider and sign the UN IAEA non proliferation treaty and adhere by its guidelines. It is something i am wishing all nations in this region who pursue nuclear energy to ratify and follow. The link to it is here somewhere.

Csabaland - March 30, 2004 03:58 PM (GMT)
That is not a problem. All 7 nuclear power plants in Csabaland are in accordance with the IAEA Site Evaluation Guidelines, which can be read here. As we mentioned earlier, we will allow any monitoring team access to the site.

Excellent then. i congradulate you on your succesful building of powerplants and hope all runs smoothly with their operations. If you need any assitance, our nuclear technicians are always ready as we have yet to find a suitable source for uranium in our own borders nor a place to build a powerplant, which well makes our nuclear technicians sort of sit around without much to do.
