Title: State Assassinations
Description: Legal in the Balkans?

Soviet_Colonies - March 25, 2004 02:23 AM (GMT)
Are assassinations of foreign State leaders illegal? This has nothing to do with Paradiszia and The Vatican and we are not planning on any assassinations, the FSC is just curious on this subject.
With Regards.

Our stance is that the assisination of anyone is illegal. We condone any act of it and will push for sanction on any nation known to attempt such things.

Thracia - March 25, 2004 04:46 AM (GMT)
The assumption in The Balkans is that we recognize all national leaders as legitimate and that we try to have peaceful and cooperative relations among nations.

Assassinations of leaders of nations within this region, therefore, are completely against these basic principles. Such an action would certainly be punished, possibly by ejection.

As to assassinating leaders of nations from another region, we have not established any rules. It may be "a necessary evil" in some extreme circumstances, but Thracia would strongly discourage any nation from engaging in such an action, for it may lead to an inter-regional war.

Soviet_Colonies - March 25, 2004 02:18 PM (GMT)
As mentioned before this was a curiosity, other countries outside the region are considering legalising it and we were just curious on the Balkans stance.
Many thanks

Excellencies: Well considering that in R.L. assasiation gave, and continuesto give the R.L. Balkans a totally undeserved bad name, We are relieved that it is not a sanctioned thing in this region. We agree with Thracia, that even outside the region, it is probably not a good thing. We pretty much avoid in Our satellite nations behavior which brings too much negative notice.

Humm....I'll need extra security.Now I can't really trust anyone.

Pope Christian VI - March 28, 2004 08:29 PM (GMT)
You wouldn't need extra security if you just stopped attacking everyone in sight.

Paradiszia - April 1, 2004 01:14 AM (GMT)
Is that a threat Holy Father?Shall I build the wall higher?

Tsar Mikhail Romanov I - April 1, 2004 07:10 AM (GMT)
I am sick of this behavior Paradiszia, the Vatican has done nothing to you, and yet you attack it ceaselessly. Your behavior is highly lacking in basic diplomatic courtesy and is quite frankly embarrasing to our region.

Paradiszia's behavior is an affront to the spirit of our region.

THIS CONFLICT NEEDS TO END.

Your threat to build the wall higher shows your fear and weakness Paradiszia, every brick and slap of mortar displays it poetically. Do what is best for our region and cease with this belligerence.

LOL
Paradiszia makes the perfect example of an evil state (ooc: congrats to the person playing it for doing it so good)

Tolomakia - April 1, 2004 12:40 PM (GMT)
The assasination of a legitimate elected leader of another nation isn't an acceptable behaviour for our nation. However, there are a few exceptions:
- in times of war, killing the opponent's leader may be a good way to win the conflict
- killing a dictator who is mass kiloing his own subject may be a moraly good choice
- killing a leader of a terrorist faction is acceptable; this may include a leader of a terrorist nation

Incorporated States of Syrina - April 1, 2004 03:21 PM (GMT)
Killing anyone is never acceptable even if the person was a dictator or a terrorist leader. Do this is like do in the same way that these guys. Also, who have the right to end the life of someone else?

Tolomakia, if you talked about the US situation, I would like to say that this nation(more theirs leaders...) has searched the trouble for a long time. Fortunately, this imperialistic nation is on it decline.

Paradiszia - April 1, 2004 11:28 PM (GMT)
Now, now keep your shirt on tsar.It was just a joke.I'm not goin to build the wall higher. At least Csabaland laughed.

Katja of Zahumlje - April 2, 2004 03:02 AM (GMT)

Paradiszia - April 3, 2004 02:27 AM (GMT)

Cypriot Socialist Federation - May 4, 2004 07:55 PM (GMT)
may I ask if you got over this crisis?

Thracia - May 5, 2004 05:40 AM (GMT)
Yes, we have; although relations between Paradiszia and the Pope are still a little tense.

Paradiszia - May 9, 2004 02:20 AM (GMT)
What do you mean Thracia? I'm not tense with the Pope.

Thracia - May 9, 2004 08:24 PM (GMT)
What I was referring to in that postring was the crisis about "humming".

Daimyo Oda Nobunaga - May 10, 2004 05:37 PM (GMT)
