Title: Aid Program for former Neo-Israel
Description: Aid Package
Katja of Zahumlje - March 19, 2004 06:24 PM (GMT)
Excellencies: The Socialist Monarchy of Zahumlje is immediately dispatching humanitarian aid and peacekeepers to former Neo-Israel. The situation there appears remarkably calm. The peace keepers will be some Jannissary Regiment and the entire Sabra Regiment.
The hope is that a new government can replace the former one quickly.
Best Wishes

The FSC would like to offer a Quick Reaction Force if the Socialist Monarchy of Zahumlje require anymore military muscle. We have two armoured cavalry regiments and an engineer regiment on stand-by to act as the QRF.
Katja of Zahumlje - March 20, 2004 05:05 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: Thank you Soviet Colonies, A couple units might be a good thing but please could some engineering and civil affairs personel be included? Basic plan is that the Sabra Regiment, mostly Jewish will handle policeing duties in the Jewish areas, and that the Janissery Regiment is going to be placed on the West Bank, the Janisseries while not exclusively Muslim are predominantly so, and Her Majesty's Government felt that that would be the least contentious policeing arrangement possible. I tend to agree. Where the Zahumljani forces are stretched the most thin would be the requested engineering an civic affairs units. Perhaps if there is instability an armoured cavalry unit or two would be useful later.
Thanks for the generous offer

We are mobilising a regiment of Engineers with logistical support, also we have the 33rd Medical Corps with a small detachment of Military Police purely for the safety of our Medical Personel. We await further word for deployment.

Our humanitarian relief has been deployed, also a navy AAS the FSCV "Sandra" is sitting off the coast with a QRF just incase of any major situations, we do not expect to deploy these Marines, but protocal requires them there while our personnel are on the ground, if the noble Monarchy of Zahumlje find them to be causing unease amoung the populace then we can move the ship further out to sea.

The nation that has joined the Balkans today, Me Julie, has asked to be given the land of Neo Israeli.
As soon as Me Julie settles in that land there will no longer be any need for relief or aid.
Katja of Zahumlje - March 22, 2004 07:49 AM (GMT)
Excellencies: It comes as a terrific relief to the Socialist Monarchy of Zahumlje, that there is to be a new government for former Neo-Israel. Basically all Zahumljani peacekeepers will be withdrawn as soon as Me Julie takes over. As for myself, while it's been nice, and I loved getting to finally fulfil a secret dream of mine to walk the lovely streets of Jeruslalem and to see Dzamija al Aksa, I am realy happy to go home for a few days in Zahumlje, before moveing on to the disaster du jour. Sorry to be so flip about it but that's how it has felt lately. I am so grateful to Bozidar Zidaric for his excellent work in Perussia. I'm going to be glad to get home. Since my husband has a second wife anyway, it's not like things are falling apart or anything. I'm going to be glad to get home. Our oldest son is graduating and going into his two years of Voluntary National Service with the Janissary Regiment. We narrowly missed shareing a duty posting! Funny ha!
Well I am delighted that an appropriate nation has replaced Neo-Israel.
Best Wishes

We have started to withdraw our relief effort, our engineers will be the last to leave Me Julie's soil (OOC: sounded kinda weird didn't it? hehe) Our Marines on board the FSCV Sandra will stay on ship, but if Me Julie needs any assistance then they can call for our Marines. The Sandra will stay off the coast for another 5 days.

Due to the vaction of the area by Me Julie, the FSCV "Sandra" has unloaded its contingent of Marines in support of the peacekeeping effort, among this task force are navy medical personnel and small contingent of navy Seabees (engineers) from the FSCV "Raven Claw" that has recently entered the area. We would like to know what the Socialist Monarchy of Zahumljes stance is at present on the situation.
My thanks and respects.
Captain Brian Marsh, Commander of the FSCV "Raven Claw"

Excellencies: As usual the telegraph system went down in Zahumlje just when it most was needed! j#%*! Well that's alright, the Janissary's train was intercepted by courier, and the Janissaries were put on a southbound train. The Sabra guys recieved a message in their troop carrier planes to land, refuel, and turn back. I got the word and took a new room as my time in the old place was up. I got a room at the King David. I suppose we just hang in there for the time being. I got the news late at night. The Queen-Komissar called me personally on a secure line. She was kind of upset as the Foreign Minister came over and woke her up.

Dr. Hodzic,
We don't know if our commander on the ground managed to send your queen a message from the command post on the beach head our marines landed at, but they reported not seeing any residents on the streets. We would like to move our marines in to investigate and also they are sitting ducks on the beach head. We await your advice and permission to move.
With our respects.

General, I think that Her Majesty did telegram twice, but the line was all raz&%$#& again. So here is what she's requested. Allow the chaplains from the Janissaris to accompany your units, they speak the local language and will afford your men a degree of protection. If the chaplain walks into the village first and speaks with people, they won't react negatively.
Those troops working with the Sabra Regiment should follow the same plan. In each case you have people who speak the language and can aid your units in finding their way around.
I'm really grateful for the backup!

Dr. Hodzic,
I am in your debt for assisting my Marines, i have been informed that my General and his officers were offered Mint Tea by the locals, this in indeed a great event. General Ross has been in contact with your queen during every major move and we have found her commands and advice to be life saving.
We look forward to more cooperation between our two nations. Also i will keep you informed of what my General is doing during the move south, Gaza seems to be quiet, for now.
My deepest thanks once again.
President Warne
