New Achaea - December 16, 2003 03:56 AM (GMT)
NEW ACHAEA PLUGS IN AND CHARGES UP
Digital Media, Film Complex Flash Colors at BTE

In a series of shows, several New Achaean media companies displayed their current efforts for furtherments in audio and visual technology, including several film clips from upcoming releases by New Achaean directors.

These same directors, later on, showcased plans on a giant film complex, including 40 digitally enhanced studios, a new film school, and a giant outdoor theater with a 80 by 160 foot video screen and a seating capacity of 100,000. The expected date for construction to begin is set within 6 months, and a projected opening of the theater portion of the complex will come within two years, the studio "city", as it is referred to by builders, to follow within another year.

"We envisioned this as a pan-Balkan facility," noted one of the directors, "and hope to promote some film festivals and screenings by the time the project is completed."

The group of planners also mentioned that their goal of 3.2 Billion Euros for the project has been met with corporate and government funding, and that it would only be a matter of time before the complex would be on its way to completion.
