Title: Poll: WMD Disarmament
Annoyastan - November 30, 2003 02:40 PM (GMT)
The Government of Annoyastan believes it is time to come to some conclusion on the WMD question, and we would like to know the position of participating nations.
Yugoslovenia - November 30, 2003 06:33 PM (GMT)
At a time like this, it is apparent that all nations need to arm themselves with the threat of war with the Commonality. Reading intercepted transmissions, we have come to the conclusion that the Dominion and other nations in the Commonality are prepared to use any mode necessary to get their point across. They have already said that they will be using nuclear weapons, so why shouldn't we?
Yugoslovenia - November 30, 2003 06:42 PM (GMT)
Even right now, the people of a New Order have launched a warhead at PeZ! We can not stand idle and see these barbarians take away our freedoms!
Thracia - November 30, 2003 07:03 PM (GMT)
We are in favor of a nuclear weapons reduction or limitation, but, under the current circumstances, we do not think sanctions can be imposed on any nation that develops such weapons.
Federation of Pepestonia - December 1, 2003 01:41 AM (GMT)
Tolomakia - December 1, 2003 10:02 AM (GMT)
"We are in favor of Nations being able to choose their own policy in this matter."
Montfortslavia - December 2, 2003 06:18 AM (GMT)
We can take Pepestonia´s case as an example.
Pepestonia is a nation that shows a peaceful behavior and is in constant cooperation with other Balkans nations in a peaceful way.
Hence, we have no objection for a nation like such to persue nuclear weaposn, given the fact that we see no real intentions of useing them.
Katja of Zahumlje - December 23, 2003 10:42 PM (GMT)
We in Zahumlje are concerned about the long term effects of WMD and nuclear weapons. We do not allow landmines. Since our devastating Civil War, we have been trying to de-mine our lands. We feel that in time of war, it is bad enough that the combatants die, that innocent people who happen to be in the way die, why should people who were not yet born die as well? This should not be taken as a weak stand. If attacked Our nation defends itself, but the world itself has 'laws and customs of war'. We believe that war is not going to go away. We wish it would but it will not. Therefore Our nation's position is to fight in a clean way. This is a decision arrived at by our Parliment, and fully endorsed by Ourself, and strongly backed by many non-governemental sectors of civil society in Zahumlje. We urge other nations to give this position serious consideration. We do not wish to impose a solution on other Sovereign peoples, but We can and will set an example.
