Title: Borgidom's Nuclear Crisis
Description: A Call for Complete Disarmament

New Commonwealth - November 5, 2003 09:53 PM (GMT)
The Governing Council and the People's Assembly recently passed a joint resolution condemning the recent nuclear tests conducted by Borgidom. This resolution calls for the immediate and unconditional disarmament of Borgidom's nuclear program and ALL nuclear weapons. We also request that an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) dispatch an immediate team of BNEA inspectors to insure that Borgidom fully disarms.

Chancellor Kal Aldenia had this to say of the resolution, "This joint resolve is truly a fair but firm affirmation that weapons of mass destruction should not and will NOT be tolerated in the Balkans. Hopefully, Borgidom can see the errors of its ways and move itself back from the brink before this crisis escalates any further."

We ask the rest of the Balkans for their opinion on this immerging situation. We hope that you support the New Commonwealth's staunch resolve in opposing ANY development of weapons of mass destruction anywhere in the Balkans.

Respectfully,
Elhaj Ramani
Defence Minister, DSNC

Ancient Races - November 5, 2003 10:22 PM (GMT)
The Armed Republic of Ancient Races wishes to point out to Borgidiom that international isolation is bad for business as well. You can still avoid trouble now, Borgman!

borgidiom - November 5, 2003 10:38 PM (GMT)
Please do not tell my nation what to do and how to do it. You are completely naice in the way of Borgidiom and the ever present danger we live in every day. All around the world Christian, Muslim and Jewish Goverment despise our way of life.

We reserve the right to defend our nation in anyway we seem fit.

Borgman
The everwatchful hand of God
Borgidiom

byzanthine - November 6, 2003 01:29 AM (GMT)
Despite our afinity for the nation of Borigidiom and its inhabitants, we condem the recent nuclear tests. The Kingdom-Empire of Byzanthine is AGAINST WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTIONS (NUCLEAR, CHEMICAL OR BIOLOGICAL).

And, as a military myself, i must disagree with you : There are better ways to defend yourself rather than just put in risk thousands and millions of life, most of them innocents.

Prime Lord of The Almirantship Ramsus Markomanov
Minister of Defense

New Commonwealth - November 6, 2003 02:26 AM (GMT)
The government of the New Commonwealth is deeply disturbed by Borgidom's increasingly hostile and defensive language. We stilll offer Borgidom the opportunity to resolve this tense situation peacefully and diplomatically. The Balkans is NOT in anyway attempting to dictate to sovereign nations how to govern themselves. However, when the actions of one country endangers the stability and well-being of the entire region (i.e. developing and testing weapons of mass destruction), the impending issue outweighs that nation's individual sovereignty.

Consequently, we implore Borgidom to halt and desist its nuclear ambitions and to allow the spirit of peace and cooperation to once again flow freely in the Balkans once more.

Respectfully,
Elena Jurot
Foreign Minister, DSNC

Byzantinople - November 6, 2003 02:27 AM (GMT)
Don't you care that the lives of innocent people have already been lost due to your testing? You are making a mistake my friend, and it threatens the stability of the entire region.

Your Friend,

Tolomakia - November 6, 2003 08:08 AM (GMT)
Borgman, you may still use our Nuclear Islands for the rest of the testing, at a fair price.

New Commonwealth - November 6, 2003 10:42 PM (GMT)
We urge Borgman to halt and cease all nuclear testing and development as soon as possible. If Borgidom does not, the New Commonwealth and several other nations may be forced to implement more stringent measures against that country...

Montfortslavia - November 7, 2003 06:57 AM (GMT)
The Government of The Honorable Sovereign Republic of Montfortslavia condemns the recent nuclear tests by the nation of Borigdom.

Not only are this tests in detriment of the regional environment, but also increase the risk and tensions between states. That is why we join the New Commonwealth is demanding an inmediate cease to this actions.

Yugoslovenia - November 7, 2003 07:00 AM (GMT)
We agree with everyone else on this issue. Isn't this one of the reasons that the Czar was hated? His constant grabbing at opportunities for "attention?" Even I was told that production, let alone testing(!), of nuclear weapons was not allowed and thus condemned in (and) by the region.

Thracia - November 7, 2003 05:29 PM (GMT)
Having read the announcement by Borgidiom, in the regional headquarters, that this country has stopped its nuclear weapons program, we would like to congratulate the necromancer council and Borgman for making the right decision.

The Bulgarite - November 7, 2003 07:43 PM (GMT)
We would like to congratulate Borgidiom on making the right decision and stopping their nuclear weapons program.

New Commonwealth - November 7, 2003 10:05 PM (GMT)
The New Commonwealth joins with other member-states of the Balkans in congratulating Borgidom in halting its nuclear program. However, we condemn your recent acts of brinkmanship and your selfish acts to get attention. Your nuclear tests have killed your OWN citizens and have merely demonstrated your callousness toward human life. Perhaps in time, you may see the gross errors of your ways...

Pavao Marijan I - November 8, 2003 01:23 AM (GMT)
The people of the Holy Empire of HRVATSKA and His Holy imperial Majesty Pavao Marijan I extend their momentaneal Imperial Pardon to the Necromancer council of Borgidiom... and we hope that these knid of facts pass NEVER MORE.
Also, we make a call of attention to Borgidiom and exhort them that pay and resolv ANY ecological problem there in Borgidiom, Pan-Balkan Forests, and around the Balkans... We must remember that preserving the environment, we preserve our future, health and our children!. Good for the moment for the Necromancer council of Borgidiom, but they must do something more; and then they will obtain the total pardon.

In order to remember the importance of we all as humans and the Mother Natura;

Tolomakia - November 8, 2003 12:50 PM (GMT)
Tolomakian Nukes Inc. (TNI) will hold its office in Borgidiom open for a while, just in case they want to restart the nuclear program.

Ina try to take advantage from the current regional situation, the Tolomakian Defense Ministry, together with TNI, demanded that the Tolomakian Nuclear Weapons Program be reopened and the next stage completed as soon as possible. However, an independent analyses, back-up by a recent Secret Serices' report, shows that the current stock of nukes should be enough to persuade any enamy to show the proper respect. The Parliament will be taking a decision next week.

New Commonwealth - November 8, 2003 11:35 PM (GMT)
The New Commonwealth urges Tolomakia NOT to reinitiate its nuclear program under any circumstances. We are disturbed at the recent trend of brinksmanship that some nations have demonstrated in the past (i.e. the Holy Russian Czar, the Dominion, Borgidom). We urge all governments to consider the ramfications of their actions and not to be hasty in their judgements. The last thing this region needs is rapid national destabilization and arms proliferation through nuclear weapons development.

Respectfully,
Elena Jurot
Foreign Minister, NC
