New Commonwealth - October 1, 2003 04:47 AM (GMT)
From: DSNC Ministry of Justice
Case Docket 1: Commission of War Crimes and Violation of Human Rights
Defendent: Killian, Nalid
Chief Prosecutor, DSNC: Von Steuben, Frederick
Chief Defense Consul: Lastrad, Gustav
The following is the official submission of the Chief Prosecutor's case against former Dominion Praetor Nalid Killian. The synopsis contains citations of numerous violations of international conventions and protocols that have been established since the inception of the United Nations. The most heinous acts of genocide and brutal repression of human rights are documented below:
1. Violation of the Geneva Convention on the Prevention of Genocide of 1948 (systematic elimination of political dissidents, establishment of concentration and torture facilities, over 2,000 est. to be killed in purges)
2. Violation of the Geneva Protocols Concerning the Treatment of Wartime Prisoners of 1948 (accounts of brutal torture of CCRC, Byzanthine, and Allied prisoners of war)
3. Violation of UN Charter, Section 5, Articles 1-8, Breach of International Peace, Belligerent Acts of Unprovoked Aggression (against the Free Republic of Thracia, Tolomakia, Annoyastan, Byzanthine, EuroSoviets)
4. Violation of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights (systematic elimination of political dissidents, establishment of concentration and torture camps, murders of several members of the former Grand Parliament, torture and execution of former Senator Raif Galador)
5. Terrorist Attacks against Civilian Targets (bombing attack against Annoyastani fact-finding delegation, assassination of CCRC exiles in Thracia, "dirty-bomb" terrorist attack against the current Provisional Leadership Council)
The Prosecution believes that Nalid Killian had a direct hand in most of these acts, whether by directly ordering or spearheading the operations. We beseech the Justices of the Balkan International Court to consider this case immediately, so as to expedite the process of judicial jurisprudence in the execution of justice.
Chief Defense Consul is Gustav Lastrad, a well known litigator and former member of the Rand Corporation, a political think-tank. The Defense team is preparing a counter-memoratorium on the case in the following days.

Yes, Byzanthine can join the prosecution but it has coordinate that with the New Commonwealth. it would be much easier if the representatives of Byzanthine worked together, and as one team, with the New Commonwealth officials.

The New Commonwealth wholeheartedly embraces Byzanthine's proposal for joint prosecution. We ask that their government telegram us and negotiate the details and inner workings of the case as well as coalesce our evidence, opening statements, and potential witnesses.

Leidestrad - November 2, 2003 08:31 AM (GMT)
The Democratic States of Leidestrad has been following the case on Killian, and has only to comment that, being itself a spondor and defendant of Human Rights in the region, we demand that Killian be judges with all the appliable laws.
We completely dissaprove all of the dominions violations of human rights.

The New Commonwealth commends Leidestrad's steadfast opposition to the Dominion's gross violations of human rights record. With hope, Nalid Killian will face the proper justice for the brutal crimes that he committed.

Indeed, we too demand justice. The real "criminals against humanity", the tyrants running the New Commonwealth, must be punished for their war crimes.
